I would be more excited if it felt like we were gonna get anything before elder scrolls 6 and 7 came out but honestly it just feels like anything I ever see about this project is people patting themselves on the back about it but not delivering anything and it's been a few years now ._. I really want to be excited about it but it's hard to be hopeful .-. I'm not trying to be negative

The issue is there are actually a surprising amount of charters in Skyrim with their own VA's that don't repeat. but in a game with so many npc's you end up noticing the ones that do more than the ones that are "special"

Football fields go from the end zone to the 10 yard line up to the 50 yard line at half field, then from the 40 yard line back to the 10 yard line before the opposite end zone. Not remotely the point of your comment, but you did make a football analogy and football fields aren't numbered that way.
@@andrewjohnson6716 @Joshua Workman Andrew is just ahead of the times. His comment may age well. When fields become digitally marked, it will go from the 1 to 99 yard line to simplify things. They just can't make it work yet between the current archaic permanent paint and field/possession changes.
I'm more hyped for this than any AAA release at the moment. If every county of Cyrodiil will get the same treatment as Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, not even mentioning the storyline or any guild plots you guys might have made, this mod will become *the* game. This mod will be the reason for people who never played Skyrim to get it, essentially receiving two seamlessly integrated games with thousands of hours of content. Respect. Your efforts carry the heart and soul of TES modding community.

I agree. They’re putting mods that literally put stuff like Chrysamere and the Divine Crusader armor into Skyrim’s re-release. Why not canonize something bigger?
At the very least they should canonize the mods for Roscrea and Atmora. I get not wanting to make the main story of Cyrodiil canon as it could interfere with the plot for the series they have moving forward, but I doubt they intend to go to either of those places anytime soon so I don't think it would hurt much.
@@BP-dn9nv I don't think they're too concerned with the overall plot for the series. This isn't the same kind of RPG as say... Dragon Age. There was never a tight central narrative.
@@reijishian2593 No, but there is a large sense of history in the Elder Scrolls. Things that happen are influenced by past events and one potential storyline could reference a past which will conflict with some of the Beyond Skyrim storyline from that particular period.
Well your going to have to wait, likely an incredibly long time. Probably TES CVXIV blackmarshwind will be in progress when they do. Your childens children will leave mod footage as a tribute on your grave.

So, this is an absolutely incredible feat by itself - but this has a special importance to me. When I was about 11, my best friend found Oblivion by chance at a Blockbuster. We were immediately hooked. I wasn't able to get my own copy for about a year, but we used to pretend to be in Cyrodiil during lunch breaks and make characters. We researched the game, watched all the behind-the-scenes content, read the developers blogs... This best friend of mine passed away when we were 14. So, to see the game that we spent so much time fantasising about, watching over the shoulder of the one playing on the computer, making countless notes in our journal where to find specific things... For the first time in a long time, it feels like I'm starting a new game with them watching over my shoulder. It might seem cliche, but it really does feel that way. Thank you to the Beyond Skyrim Team for making this possible. ❤
This was...I'm out of words, all I can say is you managed to bring a tear to my eye. Oblivion was my first Elder Scrolls game, seeing all these familiar scenarios feels my heart with nostalgia yet it seems so fresh, this feels me with joy, something no modern game release managed to make me feel in years. I feel exactly like I felt when Skyrim was originally released, nothing but joy, thank you for making me feel like this.
I'm crying, and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. This series is the only thing that has consistently kept my attention since I was 12 years old, and the work you are doing is beyond amazing. At this point, I wish you could just get the rights and continue the series yourselves. Thank you so much for this, and as soon as I have some money to spare, you can bet I'll be supporting this incredible project. Thank you for everything!
That was so nostalgic, recognising all those locations from Oblivion. I can't wait to play this! Been checking out Bruma this week and it's amazing in itself!
Fyi they just released a new Bruma patch which allows you to see more of the out-of-bounds area for extra immersion and stuff, since they have made a lot of it now. You can’t explore it yet but it’s great to be able to see all these iconic places even from a distance

Daniel Hodge did an amazing job as the voice actor narrating this trailer. I love all of the projects that the Beyond Skyrim team is working on. I appreciate each and every one of you that is making this project happen. I don't care how long the projects take to complete. When they are ready to be released I look forward to playing them.

Damn, the video was amazingly well edited. The trasitions and scenes felt like an official stuff. I don't know if the destroyed cells will be used in game or just for the trailer but they were really well placed. The idea to present both Main Quests with a vanilla NPC strike bold and the result was great! Can't even praise enough Hodge for another taste of his gorgeous voice skills The soundtracks and edition, skilled as fuck!

This is not a release trailer correct. I would estimate we are still a couple years out at least for full Cyrodiil. The other pre-releases will likely come out before this release.
This trailer genuinely touched my heart as An Oblivion fan. This is everything I ever wanted and I'm pretty sure at least to myself that this is the official sequel to Oblivion. I mean, this is the story I thought about in my head, dozens of times, after the White-Gold Concordiate and the Thalmor essentially taking over Cyrodiil and the aftermath of those events. This absolutely fascinates me since Oblivion is my favorite in all of the Elder Scrolls series. I cannot possibly express to you just how much I want to play this. I know it'll probably be A very long time before this project is finished. However, I can assure you when it does I will be there on day one and download it. Fantastic job all around!
Fans put more passion in this than i've seen from any massive corporate game studio in ages. I can't wait for this. I am blown away by how sick this looks.
@@moiliurtz And arent in charge. Best example was Cyberpunk 2077. showed realy well what goes wrong in the studios these days. The managment thinks about money and has to say more than the guys who actually make the games. The result is a rushed game where you see the opressed passion of the ones working on the projekt. A bugfest with a storytellling and world on another level
I'm super excited for Skyblivion, but for Beyond Skyrim even more. Seing all this new content and story will be mindblowing. Bruma alone was the best thing that ever happened to skyrim

I didn’t expect this to get me a hyped as I am. It looks absolutely amazing and I’m more excited than ever. I was hoping it was gonna be another early release province but the fact it looks so great makes me hope that maybe we’ll get a release soon.
I wouldn't count on "soon" as there are plethora of things to implement other from the visuals themselves. But, the immense progress they made, at least for me means that I am confident that this...game (can't name it a mere mod) WILL BE actually done and not remain a concept
Once all Beyond projects, Skyblivion and Skywind are finished, it will be a new golden age of Skyrim modding. Literally remakes of two legendary games and a single-player equivalent to ESO. Throw a potentially released ES6 in the mix, the future looks epic for Elder Scrolls fans.

@@kharjo8099 No, it the barrier was sealed with Martin breaking the Amulet of Kings to become an avatar of Akatosh and banish Mehrunes Dagon. It's because the barrier is sealed (and there is no Amulet of Kings) that a Dragonborn is no longer needed to rule. Then again, that could all be a grave misinterpretation of events on our and the NPCs' part.
I dont think the next games providence is a coincidence. I've long asserted that the whole crusade on talos is a convenient excuse to launch a campaign to claim the ur towers of the world. To what end, im not sure, but the original Ada-Mantia is the Adamantine Tower and that is in High rock from which the other towers are mimicking with a small piece of its power. What im getting at is we may see the war come to a head and these towers may very well allow the Chim-El Adabal, The red soul gem in the center of the amulet of kings to re-emerge again solidifying once again akatoshs covenant with man and mer and keeping nirn safe from oblivion. We know for certain that the towers channel creatia from oblivion that allows them to create and change reality around them which is why the deadra are so interested in them as well.
@@HickoryDickory86 I agree, I think that nirn is technically weaker but at the same time if the viel was not sealed we would have seen a systematic invasion from all the princes of oblivion not just daegon for the whole 15mins he achieved. Not to mention, based on what we know about sithis as an entity, we would have that to worry about too potentially.
At least I’m not alone thinking that Dragonborn should be the new emperor and be the canon ending to the story of TES V. And make TES VI during our Dragonborn’s reign with another protagonist

We never watched Anniversary Trailer and Bethesda did a waste of money. It is mods like Beyond Skyrim which we monitor for the next mod. We cannot wait until Cyrodiil is released. WE ARE DRAGONBORN!!!!

I've been waiting eagerly to return to Cyrodil after hearing about the Beyond Skyrim project, and honestly, I've been more hyped about this and several modding projects more than most Bethesda announcements to date. I eagerly await to see the final product.

After emerging as the famous Imperial Legate that was instrumental to the Imperial victory in the Skyrim Civil War, it’s time for the Dragonborn to pull a Napoleon on the Imperial throne.
Recently traveled down to Bruma on my current (and probably 74th overall) Skyrim run, and as someone who grew up on Oblivion, it felt like coming home. If that was coming home, I have no words for what this is…
This is so Beautifull its clearly got so much heart poured into it, the writing is immaculant as far as i can tell from this trailer, it made me bolth hyped and tear up as well this project is such a wonder, its clearly going to be Better in so many ways than the base game
It's evidently clear you guys love your craft speaking as a writer of fantasy and science fiction, I have much respect for those who love their craft and do it well. You have intrigued me as to what is in here.
This and hundreds of other examples is why a heavily moddable game will always keep a healthy community around it to create amazing things, but Bethesda is lucky enough to have some of the most impressive and skilled people working on their games. Bethesda's voice actors aren't bad, they're just overused. Skyrim's trailer had famed Swedish actor Max von Sydow voicing Esbern.

Oblivion was my first Elder Scrolls game, seeing all these familiar scenarios feels my heart with nostalgia yet it seems so fresh, this feels me with joy, something no modern game release managed to make me feel in years. I feel exactly like I felt when Skyrim was originally released, nothing but joy, thank you for making me feel like this.
The fact that this is scheduled on Skyrim’s day is legendary

I'm crying, and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. This series is the only thing that has consistently kept my attention since I was 12 years old, and the work you are doing is beyond amazing. At this point, I wish you could just get the rights and continue the series yourselves. Fyi they just released a new Bruma patch which allows you to see more of the out-of-bounds area for extra immersion and stuff, since they have made a lot of it now. You can’t explore it yet but it’s great to be able to see all these iconic places even from a distance
@@maximusthedude8305 what i’d like to see is a mini-questline involving Count Corvain going behind the concordact and charging the dragonborn with rebuilding Cloud Ruler and unearthing Jauffre’s Dai-katana.
Daniel Hodge did an amazing job as the voice actor narrating this trailer. I love all of the projects that the Beyond Skyrim team is working on. I appreciate each and every one of you that is making this project happen. I don't care how long the projects take to complete. When they are ready to be released I look forward to playing them.

The voice acting, the script & the quality of the recording.. Not even 2 minutes in and I've got chills all over my body. This mod looks mega.

Damn, the video was amazingly well edited. The trasitions and scenes felt like an official stuff. I don't know if the destroyed cells will be used in game or just for the trailer but they were really well placed. The idea to present both Main Quests with a vanilla NPC strike bold and the result was great!
Can't even praise enough Hodge for another taste of his gorgeous voice skills

This is not a release trailer correct. I would estimate we are still a couple years out at least for full Cyrodiil. The other pre-releases will likely come out before this release.
This trailer genuinely touched my heart as An Oblivion fan. This is everything I ever wanted and I'm pretty sure at least to myself that this is the official sequel to Oblivion. I mean, this is the story I thought about in my head, dozens of times, after the White-Gold Concordiate and the Thalmor essentially taking over Cyrodiil and the aftermath of those events. This absolutely fascinates me since Oblivion is my favorite in all of the Elder Scrolls series.
I cannot possibly express to you just how much I want to play this. I know it'll probably be A very long time before this project is finished. However, I can assure you when it does I will be there on day one and download it. Fantastic job all around!
Fans put more passion in this than i've seen from any massive corporate game studio in ages. I can't wait for this. I am blown away by how sick this looks.
It is really impressive indeed. But I think every studio has passionate developers. They are just stressed by deadlines and specifications.
@@moiliurtz And arent in charge. Best example was Cyberpunk 2077. showed realy well what goes wrong in the studios these days. The managment thinks about money and has to say more than the guys who actually make the games. The result is a rushed game where you see the opressed passion of the ones working on the projekt. A bugfest with a storytellling and world on another level

I didn’t expect this to get me a hyped as I am. It looks absolutely amazing and I’m more excited than ever. I was hoping it was gonna be another early release province but the fact it looks so great makes me hope that maybe we’ll get a release soon.
I wouldn't count on "soon" as there are plethora of things to implement other from the visuals themselves.
But, the immense progress they made, at least for me means that I am confident that this...game (can't name it a mere mod) WILL BE actually done and not remain a concept
Once all Beyond projects, Skyblivion and Skywind are finished, it will be a new golden age of Skyrim modding. Literally remakes of two legendary games and a single-player equivalent to ESO. Throw a potentially released ES6 in the mix, the future looks epic for Elder Scrolls fans.

@@kharjo8099 No, it the barrier was sealed with Martin breaking the Amulet of Kings to become an avatar of Akatosh and banish Mehrunes Dagon.
It's because the barrier is sealed (and there is no Amulet of Kings) that a Dragonborn is no longer needed to rule.
Then again, that could all be a grave misinterpretation of events on our and the NPCs' part.
I dont think the next games providence is a coincidence. I've long asserted that the whole crusade on talos is a convenient excuse to launch a campaign to claim the ur towers of the world. To what end, im not sure, but the original Ada-Mantia is the Adamantine Tower and that is in High rock from which the other towers are mimicking with a small piece of its power. What im getting at is we may see the war come to a head and these towers may very well allow the Chim-El Adabal, The red soul gem in the center of the amulet of kings to re-emerge again solidifying once again akatoshs covenant with man and mer and keeping nirn safe from oblivion. We know for certain that the towers channel creatia from oblivion that allows them to create and change reality around them which is why the deadra are so interested in them as well.
@@HickoryDickory86 I agree, I think that nirn is technically weaker but at the same time if the viel was not sealed we would have seen a systematic invasion from all the princes of oblivion not just daegon for the whole 15mins he achieved. Not to mention, based on what we know about sithis as an entity, we would have that to worry about too potentially.
At least I’m not alone thinking that Dragonborn should be the new emperor and be the canon ending to the story of TES V. And make TES VI during our Dragonborn’s reign with another protagonist

I've been waiting eagerly to return to Cyrodil after hearing about the Beyond Skyrim project, and honestly, I've been more hyped about this and several modding projects more than most Bethesda announcements to date. I eagerly await to see the final product.

Recently traveled down to Bruma on my current (and probably 74th overall) Skyrim run, and as someone who grew up on Oblivion, it felt like coming home. If that was coming home, I have no words for what this is…

This is so Beautifull its clearly got so much heart poured into it, the writing is immaculant as far as i can tell from this trailer, it made me bolth hyped and tear up as well this project is such a wonder, its clearly going to be Better in so many ways than the base game
It's evidently clear you guys love your craft speaking as a writer of fantasy and science fiction, I have much respect for those who love their craft and do it well. You have intrigued me as to what is in here.
I am suffering with crippling depression...but this, does put a smile in my face.
This and hundreds of other examples is why a heavily moddable game will always keep a healthy community around it to create amazing things, but Bethesda is lucky enough to have some of the most impressive and skilled people working on their games.
