Honestly this is what people have wanted for so long. Modders to create the mods have Bethesda publish them. A lot of mods need Q and A, scripting needs to be cleaned up and such and that is what people wanted, basically the best of both worlds, you get NexusMod content but cleaned up by Bethesda in a more official way.
@@nocturnal101ravenous6 Bethesda couldn't clean up their own game 10 years ago, or its subsequent re-release...what makes you think they're going to clean up the work of others?
I just started playing skyrim again, and got the anniversary edition when I rebought it, and its so great to have fresh things to do in skyrim after my hundreds of hours of playing. This is what I expect the base game of the elderscrolls 6 to be, plus expansions.
Would you agree with this Steam review? If I play it (1st time ever) should I remove the Anniversary Upgrade content from the game (if possible)? "Why Bethesda why? Decided to get this bundle on sell was pretty excited, till about level 20~ish it just broke me. Why is none of this content even remotely balanced? The new spells, cheaper and stronger then base. No elderscrolls is perfectly balanced, but this is ridiculous. All the new quests I have played have been pretty bare bones and outta place. There is some really nice things in this bundle, but so many broken things as well. If you do get this bundle please take a look at the items you decided to download in UESP."
Your editing is phenomenal, man. It would've been so much simpler to just show a straight-on shot of the different homes and armors, but you went the extra mile to include these crazy transitions and smooth panning shots. Really impressive cinematic stuff.
This is one of the highest quality and most well done videos for Skryim AE, let alone Skyrim i have ever watched. Amazing. Mad respect for taking the time to make this and all those invloved.
See at a £130 (price of everything in this video purchased individually though Creation Club) this stuff is not good, at £16 (price of the Anniversary Edition upgrade if you own Special Edition) this stuff is pretty darn good. Great vid as always.
Yeah, looking forward to a sale so it goes even lower (maybe a 25% off). The thing is some of these looks like things that should have been in the main game for free all these years ago. The crossbows are one such thing, we have almost no variety of them in Dawnguard (the dlc in which they are introduced).
@@vladandrei1996 I personally am happy with the £16 price, it's just I am playing with a lot of mods that wont work with the latest version of the game so I most likely will pick it up just not yet. If it so happens to go on sale before I get it I am not going to say no.
I found myself a skeptic of even putting in for this, and you have singlehandedly convinced me that I would indeed enjoy putting forth the little extra for all the addon content in the AE. Thanks for leaving reviews and showcases I can count on and get behind. I love your work!
@Nick Williams Yes and no at the same time. It kinda a waste, but not by much. For those who loves and returns to skyrim from time to time, but don't know how and not interseted at all in installation of mods - that's alegit answer.
@Nick Williams idk. It's actually quite good dlc in terms of content and all for those outside of modding and community overall. Nowadays standard dlcs are way worse for other games and most people are already used to that.

I really liked the direction that this video went in, like the order of things that you went to show off. A lot of people like to look cool and that, so showing off the armor was a good way to hook a lot of people into watching the video. And then finishing off the with the major quest that are new in the game. You did a very good job with everything that there really isn't anything for me to complain on.
Skyrim truly is immortal. Because of the modding community, Skyrim has become about so much more than just the province of Skyrim. It’s like we’re seeing the world of the elder scrolls grow more and more. Eventually, we’ll make it to the elder scrolls 6, but part of me wonders if the ES6 will have Skyrim as a part of it.
@@cosmicabyss7358 Skyrim is SO much more than just Nords, by the lore. Yes, I agree, by todays standards, it definitely needs an upgrade. But it was released way back in 2012! The video's quality is just incredible. However, you forgot the enchanted arrows. There are some arrows with magical properties ranging from fire to electric and frost arrows.
@Jamie_Pritchard This is pretty obscure and wasn’t really made clear by Bethesda or the video so you probably didn’t know about this but there are actually other features that were added in anniversary edition
They said that for a high-level character there was going to be about 20 hrs worth of new content for a $20 upgrade. My char was L230, and I finished all 74 pieces of it in just under 75 additional hrs. Consequently I have 74 screenshots to prove it as well. This was such a great video! and even though Hendraheim was by far my absolute favorite of the new player homes, Golden Hills Plantation was incredibly useful and a good way to get things started if you are sick of Breezehome and running in Survival. All this time I thought I was a good guy using the Daedra to my own ends, but standing in front of a fully powered Oblivion Gate and feeling right at home... I realized that I am a cultist at heart after all. So of course I restored faith in the Tribunal and can finally call myself the Hand of the Goddess Queen Almalexia. There was so much nostalgia for fans of Morrowind and Oblivion as well as plenty of new stuff. It was well worth it.

I'd go purchase a physical copy of the game , just knowing while holding it my creation is on that disk, willed by bathesder themselves!!!!!
New homes, make every other house obsolete and are often free. The armors, not level gated and often better then their standard conterpart, level one daedric.
Really impressive cinematic stuff.
ikr, way above youtube paygrade
Finally. After 10 years, Unmodded Skyrim can now be considered a beta if you get all its paid DLC.
lmao
This is one of the highest quality and most well done videos for Skryim AE, let alone Skyrim i have ever watched. Amazing. Mad respect for taking the time to make this and all those invloved.
For real
This really is such high level production and editing for a youtube video, awesome man!
Thanks a ton! :)
If it so happens to go on sale before I get it I am not going to say no.
at this price, it's a damn good deal indeed!
@@kaindracula2662 they released a patch aimed at fixing that today
@@r0br33r I don’t think you of all people have the right to call anyone an uncle if that’s you in your profile pic.
I found myself a skeptic of even putting in for this, and you have singlehandedly convinced me that I would indeed enjoy putting forth the little extra for all the addon content in the AE. Thanks for leaving reviews and showcases I can count on and get behind. I love your work!
@Nick Williams Looks like the graphics on console look decent now, but yeah if you buy it on pc you are lazy.
Please it's not good content, save yourself the money, it really isn't worth the upgrade.
@Nick Williams Yes and no at the same time. It kinda a waste, but not by much. For those who loves and returns to skyrim from time to time, but don't know how and not interseted at all in installation of mods - that's alegit answer.
@Nick Williams idk.
It's actually quite good dlc in terms of content and all for those outside of modding and community overall.
Nowadays standard dlcs are way worse for other games and most people are already used to that.
Or just go on Nexus mods and get all the stuff there... for free..
This video alone convinced me to get the game - EXCELLENT stuff my man, thank you
Have you never played Skyrim?
Bro. Prepare for at least for 100 hours of playtime.
I’m at around 200 hours and haven’t finished all the quests (kind of an explorer). I never get bored, that’s the amazing part. That game is a gem. 💎
And I didn’t mention the mods. Oh boy. Let’s not open that box.
@@mattmin45 on PS4 I have every single trophy’s except one just when I thought I was close to completing the game they release this I’m gonna be playing this game till I die
Me too
i got it for my birthday its amazing
Honestly, this is one of the best professionally done video game editing and animations I have seen to date. Very detailed and nicely done. AWESOME JOB!
The production value on this video is insane. I was just expecting a simple list of the creation club stuff, but your language was great and you basically reviewed/hyped up all the new content. This is better than most sponsored stuff I’ve ever seen!
Dude your cinematic showcasing and editing is bloody superb, better than any trailer Beth put out for the anniversary edition, you've actually made me consider purchasing the upgrade
Thankyou!! Todd would be proud 😆
I'm the same wasn't interested until I watched this video, now I'm all-in, Todd needs to see this guy's work.
You could even say.... "It just works."
Man WTF, how did you make such a high quality video so fast using assets from the DLC??
This is phenomenal! I'm in awe...
Very well done in every possible way to keep it short my mate. I never leave more than a like but your level of effort and quality has to be acknowledged.
Great video. I’ve been playing through Anniversary Edition myself and it’s been fun discovering all the new integrated content.
Making this video gave me a good appreciation for how much was included , fitting it all into 15 mins was not easy 😅 And Thanks!
Thanks! Im glad you enjoyed and i appreciate the feedback :)
@@HeavyBurns one question Burnsie what is fat thors Googles/glasses mod in this? he is wearing them at the start of the vid
It obviously wont have skyrim, but I bet modders will make it happen within a year or 2
I hope not Skyrim is literally the most boring and uninspired region in Elder Scrolls.
Literally Vikings and Dragons is the theme of the entire game.
@@cosmicabyss7358 Skyrim is SO much more than just Nords, by the lore. Yes, I agree, by todays standards, it definitely needs an upgrade. But it was released way back in 2012! Honestly, I think the ongoing “beyond Skyrim” project could make the game so much better!
I played a bit of ESO, and… idk. It didn’t…FEEL the same, you know? But I think maybe I didn’t spend enough time with it. Point is, I think we’re well passed the point where a new elder scrolls game should have more than one provenance in it.
@@raymondraptorclaw2901 ESO has more interesting quests that it makes skyrim feel like it has mmo style quests
the npcs are more memorable too
while mods are a bonus to a games lifespan, the vanilla experience gets boring after the 1st playthrough, morrowind and oblivion had mod support way before skyrim and they don't get praised as much
Morrowind is very old school RPG, oblivion is ok, all dungeons look the same though which got boring. Always love the final story mission with martin turning into akatosh and chomping on mehrunes dagon
I love Skyrim so much. Im glad they keep adding to it and updating things. The world building is amazing and has influenced how I run and build my dnd adventures.
@Jamie_Pritchard yeah, I mean Morrowind had enchanted arrows like 20 years ago also had throwing knives/stars, spears, and clubs too 😂
They said that for a high-level character there was going to be about 20 hrs worth of new content for a $20 upgrade.
This is extremely impressive man my jaw was dropped from seeing the new content the way you edited it was so perfect you did a great deal of explaining I love it this is awesome thank you I'm subscribing and gonna keep watching yayou explain everything very well and man you have some insane editing skills
Thankyou so much! Glad you enjoyed and welcome aboard! 💙
My god the production of this! 😮 It's so clean, and everything is on point! I can't even put it into words. I have tried my hand at making screenshots in this style(expressive, stuff going on) but you are making it in video! 😵🤯😳
Dude, the production value here is a-ma-zing. The camera movement, the little stories, and voiceover - all top quality. Great job, thanks!
Watching Heavy Burns video always feels like watching a cinematic masterpiece.
The level of detail and efforts in this video are quite magnificent if I do say so myself, it really bring me into the world of Skyrim when watching this video.
The bits and humor of some of the clips are just perfect. Overall, this video brings immersion to a Skyrim cinematic video which I never thought it would be this amazing.
Well done Heavy Burns, you did really well on this one
Idk if you will ever see this, but you’re editing and layout of this video convinced me to finally play Skyrim after a few failed attempts. Finally getting sucked into the world and I have to say, kinda wish I did this sooner lol.
I wish I could play it again for the first time !!!! Hope you’re enjoying it 😊

Freaking SICK video. Editing was on point. Got me stoked to play it and strongly considering getting it on pc lol

The game looks nothing like how it's presented in this video. And it's too bad, because I would absolutely upgrade if it looked like this and played like this.
I loved this whole video, Gave me those feels that we used to get when adventuring the new skyrim when it came out !!! I watched this because I was thinking about buying the Anniversary Edition for PC and now you have confirmed and sold me on it. Thank you :) Sick video skills
I have somehow never played Skyrim before even though I have been thinking about it for years, but I am finally going to start playing it now.
Man, you do an amazing job! Bethesda should hire you immediately!
Really going to enjoy the questline with the deadlands, looking forward to your next video!
Thanks!
This is damn near a professional level trailer. The only thing you lack is funding. Honestly I loved everything about it and am super stoked to see more.
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve refallen in love with this game. I am finally getting this version today for a whopping 18 bucks, and while it downloads, I watched this. You’ve gained another subscriber and it was perfectly timed as my download completed after this video. Best…pregame…ever.
I'm so excited for the new silver armors. I loved the silver sword designs and am so happy to be able to complete the set.
Bethesda should hire you, just to sell their games. Now I understand what do I get in this upgrade.
I'd never heard of you or this channel before, and I'm sad it took me this long. I've been missing all-star quality content!! You sir have wowed me with a single video. I'm gonna stick around for this journey, guaranteed.
Wow, thank you! 🤠 Glad you enjoyed!
this was fantastically entertaining! I would have like to see a little bit of some of the stuff in in-game footage, like what the weapons will look like when you swing them in first person. But, I was pleasantly entertained all throughout
The production on this video was amazing. Hope to see more in the future. Also, have you thought about doing ShoddyCast-like storyteller videos in the form of a series with a storyline?
Thankyou! And i did samson of bruma for a bit but it wasnt really sustainable at the time. I had to focus on more audience friendly content , but you can check out the two episodes i did do on my channel :)

The way you edited the video was very top notch!
But I have to admit it cracks me up by adding around 5 new quests, a few amour sets, a few player homes and fishing is enough to make a new re-re-re-release.

honestly the only thing stopping me from getting creations was the fact the quests and items just popped into your inventory. but now that they are integrated its so much better i added everything bar a few things which i felt were not canon or were too overpowered like the bow of shadows. and only the player homes i was interested in

Hey Heavy, you should make a video that talks about mods that are compatible with AE, as well as mods that enhance AE content. I.e. making the different weapons and armors appear on leveled list in the corrdct factions. Silver armor on silver hand, vigil armor on the vigilants ot stendarr, redguard armor and weapons on redguards, netch leather armor on dunmer, the rest of alternative armors on bandits, mercenaries and other NPCs, etc.
Modders:You can have your own mine, become King and get your own Castle
Developers:Let's add Fishing
