Tazri is literally unionizing the guildmages
built one like this but with every llanowar elf variant. if its an elf that taps for something its in the deck! 69 creatures, 1 planeswalker, and 30 lands baby!
Technically you missed the very first guildmages in the disciples of Dega, Ceta, Necra, Raka, and Ana- Not guildmages by name, but in functionality and spirit are in fact guildmages.

Make a deck that has exactly 100 different mechanics, with no duplicates.
So if you have a Sauron, the Dark Lord, that is 3 mechanics: Ward, Amass, and The Ring Tempts You. You can’t have any other cards in the deck with Ward, amass, or tempt.
Zirda, the Dawnwaker would do work in this deck :)
I also made this deck a while ago. I had zirda as a companion. I think it works better with zirda.
Undoubtedly so, but that's not the point. The point is to run it with only guildmages (and the commander).
I was thinking of Duskana The Rage Mother. I wasn't looking too closely, but most, if not all of the guildmages are 2/2s

As someone who has also built the 35 guildmage deck i like what you have done with it. The struggle to make them somewhat decent is real.
I love how you had to point out Izzet GM is bad in this deck specifically, because that guy was actually a wincon back in the day with Lava Spike and Desperate Ritual.
Well, I would have had a couple mascots in Biomancer's Familiar and Zirda, but this is hilarious.

Holy smoly Tazri, Stalwart Survivor is a game changer. Didn't have that in 2019.
If this does not include the ACTUAL guildmages from Mirage I will riot.
How about a deck with Elder Land Wurm as the main wincondition? I mean, he's the most elderly and wurmy type there is! Land not really, but he's trying his best :)

I hate Tazri's templating. His static ability should read "Each creature you control with an activated ability gains 'T: bla bla bla'".
I’ve had an idea of making this deck concept but couldn’t figure out who would be a good commander. Tazri is a great choice. (In my iteration, I was also going to throw in the other -scape creatures like stormscape master
Deck: Get everyone's life total as low as possible, as quick as possible. Scourge of the Skyclaves, Wound Reflection, etc...
Deck: Make every card a land. Nothing else. (Commander of course)

RAHHH I am literally building Tazri right now! I'm building her as a random deck, where the actual deck is ~200 cards and I simply shuffle and pick the non-lands every game
I feel like reconnaissance would be particularly good in this deck

Not sure if it May be good, but Duskana, the Rage Mother draws à card for each 2/2 and give them +3/+3 when they Attack, could it be an option, a draw Engine or even a secondary win con ?
You can throw some flashback spells in there. youre self milling anyway.

I actually built a Tazri deck a while back. It was an aristocrats deck... With no sacrifice outlets.
I just used a ton of creatures that sacked themselves (Tazri let them pay for themselves if the sack also needed mana) and a bunch of sack payoffs.
