going maybe cold air and already have mbrp race catback with no resonator prolly all im gonna do minus eventually longtubes with high flow cats . that being said once I get long tubes with setup I have I don't wanna los eany bottom end its my daily . would you go 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 ?
You'd never notice the difference. It's small enough that it could be considered acceptable variation on a dyno. Air intake temperatures would make a bigger difference than cat restrictions.
nikonhckr or about 10hp. So when something only gives a full bolt on another 20-25. 10 can be a lot.especially looking at a tune install and pieces for about $2700 on average.
The people saying 10hp from catless to cat are wrong. If you have turbos or a supercharger then maybe but a stock motor with a tune and headers and cai sees almost no gain going to catless. The cats that come on these are hiflow and barely do anything. On a dyno you see maybe 2-3 hp. Get catted and save yourself from the nasty smell and check engine lights. No tuner will delete rear o2 sensor signals anymore so not worth it
@@xGR1MxREAPERxI was wondering if catted headers would keep me from throwing a CEL. Wanted to know cause I didn't want to deal with the light coming on.
@@5.0gt2 I’m honestly not sure. The most common header I see used are 1 7/8th. 2 inch might be better for boosted applications but I’m not 100% sure on the 2 inch setup
I have this catted 1-7/8 on my 17 gt. I have a question, can you buy off-road (catless) part from kooks and replace the green cat? I want to go cat-less now regret got green cat, but we all know how difficulty to replace the header...
You'll want an H-pipe or Corsa's double H-pipe for that deeper sound. For mufflers, you'd want Borla or to go with the Mach 1/GT500 mufflers. Roush and Corsa are more exotic sounding, so they aren't that deep sounding.

I have the kooks long tube catted headers on my '13 GT. It sounds really good but want more idle loudness. When I romp on it, it sounds perfect.
Are you saying it's quiet(er) at idle and low rpm?
Can you guys do a review on a 2in kooks off road

How’s is this a review? Most important is hp figures.
For real didn't even get to listen to the difference
Can you run kooks headers with a Corsa extreme cat back?
same question. please lmk if u got an answer
Yall ever find an answer?
Yes you can
Can these headers go with the corsa connection pipes??
Nobody can ever answer this question for me 😔
Is there really that much of a difference in power between the catted and catless longtubes?

@@chrisw.7039 my 19 mustang has kooks high flow catted and no dial harnesss or anything and I don’t have any check engine lights at all.
Do I need a tune after install?
Yes! You 100% need to tune it after

do u know if we can get the catless part?
can i run ford racing by borla cat back exhust with this?
Did you ever find out ?
yes u can i have borla atak , w kooks catted heads and they fit no problem just got done today
Is there really anything that makes the Coyote sound deep ? They all sound horrible with full exhaust and headers.
The lowest I've seen is probably Borla S Type with an H pipe.

How is this even a review lmao, no dyno results, no install, no sound clips. Sweet video AM👎🏻
Only cuz of California...
Now no one can buy catless parts😂
