  • Follow along as we bring you to The Great American West on our 16 day adventure thru parts of South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana in September of 2021.
In this episode we'll visit South Dakota with stops at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, the Minuteman Missile Site, a glimpse of the Bad Lands, Buffalo Gap National Grasslands near Wall and finally the famous Custer State Park.
A quick tour thru the Corn Palace in Mitchell with its storied history.
What does a cold war era nuclear missile look like? We'll show you up close.
We boondocked near the Bad Lands (43.8895, -102,2269) overlooking the beautiful layered rock formations and steep canyons. Bison and Big Horn Sheep could be seen in the grasslands beyond.
Next we spent two nights in Custer State Park where we took the Cathedral Spires trail, capturing epic drone footage. We drove the truck camper thru several tunnels including the tight squeeze through Needles Eye Tunnel to see it's name same formation.

My grandfather and I have visited a lot of places and no wherehave we been as surprised as the Dakota's. We thoroughly enjoyed the dakotas and the wildlife that we saw was abundant!

I think the Dakota’s are overlooked by the crowds. Yes, they are beautiful and lots of wildlife.
We love that your 95 year old grandfather enjoys getting out and seeing the sites.

Great filming technique, just the right amount of narration & perfect music match. Because of Advanced Maturity, I may not get there in person. You folks sharing your adventure is the next best thing. Thank you
