- South Dakota’s Corn Palace stands as a unique symbol of American ingenuity, agricultural heritage, and community spirit. It endures as a cherished landmark, embodying the enduring legacy of the Midwest!
Went here as a kid in the 80s and went back with my wife ten years ago. Was just as I remembered it :)
It does sum kind of timeless. Thx for watching!
Oh my goodness, congratulations on your channel. As Australians, we appreciate your historical perspective on sights & hikes.
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺
Thx again for watching. Amazing to think of how people around the world can tune in.
Oh hey! Pops got his own channel! Good to see ya, Pops!
Yep it’s me! Thanks for visiting!
Hey Pops! Great video!😊 I visited the Corn Palace with my mom. We were on a road trip driving to DeSmet South Dakota to see Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. That was back in 1997.😮
I’d love to see that home and museum! Thx for watching!
Oh, I was wondering if you drove in to DeSmet. It is very cool. The schoolhouse she taught in was moved there and the mercantile still operates... more of a gift shop now. I spent three days there camping on the homestead farm, slept in a covered wagon that was really a sheep wagon but converted with a bed inside. Cute community play in summer. Great place to visit. In 2017 I did the LIW Trail. How did I miss the gift shop? Next time I'm passing through...
ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO By POPS! Thanks Pops!!!

Thank you for sharing this. I love corn art. My dad collected corn cob pipes. I love the background music you chose too.
That’s cool about the collection. I once got to hold one of Mark Twain’s corncob pipes! Thx for watching.

The Timelapse with all the images of the front was pretty cool :) and the corn hat was funny but a lil tight lol
You can count on Josh to tease me about that!
Appreciate the deep dive into that very "corny" place, lol!
