I really wanted to make a video honoring the men that fought and died to found this great country, and I couldn't think of a better song than Citizen Soldiers.

Mr Shanky If thats true I wonder why so many independence movements had to constantly be crushed under the British empire, and I also wonder why Marxism spread so well throughout the English proletariat in the subsequent two centuries. surely if England was so gracious to its citizens neither lf these would have been issues? just going off a bit of logic.
All of our military personnel are "Citizen Soldiers". They are all citizens of the USA who have set aside the comfort and security of home; voluntarily put their "normal" lives on hold; left the loving arms of their families in order to ensure that we have the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution. Each and every one deserves our thanks and respect. So those of us at home need to do our part and protect this land from domestic threats. VOTE 2010!
H have 2 family members who fought in the revolution. A handful in the civil war 1 in ww1 a handful in ww2 and my grandfather in Vietnam. God bless. America

The greatest British casualties at Lexington and Concord occurred when they were marching between the two cities; the rebels hid behind trees and walls and shot at them as they went by. To line up across a field to shoot and be shot was considered honorable and fair at that time. Guerrilla warfare was considered an unorthodox method. But we used it, and the U.S., with a smaller, worse-equipped military won because of it.
This is how we won. Fighting the enemy with a rage and viger that they've never seen before. They hunted us, they tore at us, but they never broke us. They continued on fighting untill it was over, because they were Americans. And that is exacally what we must do now.

Yeah! it was in Brooklyn, NY that our Nation newly formed Army met, first engaged and fought General Cornwallace British Troops. To honor those Patriots who were jailed and died on board the British prison ships anchored in Wallabout Bay, Brooklyn, especially, the deadly HMS Jersey.

Well... Our nation was supposed to be off the constitution except that congress is forgetting about it right now. So right now (Even know I am a high conservative) our gov. needs to be reformed right now.
@lolackay True that, but let's be real, Prussian military drill and discipline was the best in the world at the time. And by God did his training help a lot to improve the Continental Army and give them some sort of discipline and fighting capability in open line battles.
@cometsight yeah unfortunately we forgot this during Vietnam and was fooled by the very thing we helped pioneer how ironic.they simply out lasted we lost support for the war at home just like the British population started to oppose it during the revolution there are a lot of similarities so much for learn from history or be doomed to repeat it.
