Q56s comes with a Titan motor the VK56. 5.6 liter V8 big body sedan with reclining rear seats, and front seats have integrated speakers by driver and passengers ears.
We FINALLY got some love!🔥😅. Ay but remember the Red Sport is the same engine, just tuned to 100 more hp -- same engine in the new Z. The Q60 is great with that TT setup, but I would like to see that V8 in it instead being a sedan. For those that don't know, the Q70 had that same 5.6 the titan still has, and it put out 420hp; they stopped being made in 2019. VERY hard to find, by the way, most Q70s have the VQ in them still.
Don’t forget about the much cheaper but still as good M56 those bad boys were the Q70 before it, think they come with the vk56vd motor if I’m not mistaken, a little different from the 5.6 found in the titan
The 1st gen q45(except 96) was better than the 2nd gen q45. They had the vh45de vs. vh41de found in the 2nd gen car. The vh45 also featured a closed deck and had titanium valves from the factory, and every year other than 96 had vvt. The factory hp rating was done with the vvt unplugged so they make more power than advertised. You should've also mentioned the G20. stock m56 typically dyno high 300s, also there’s like 3 whole total aftermarket parts for it, if you want a V8 don’t get a Nissan engine, why fully fabricate everything custom when you could run a UZ, LS, Hemi, Coyote, S63, even a SBC swap with like $1000 worth of summit racing parts would walk a fbo M56
@@Strahlendersonnenlicht well yea but he was talking swapping a the engine from a titan truck which is the same engine in the m56 into a m45 and I said to just buy a m56x with awd. If you talking modding something out then yea LS wins everytime or 2jz you know the typical stuff you would see. And it's some m56x that are tuned and modded nice just a rare car in the first place to play around with. While the Vr30dett RS AWD modded and tuned to perfection with a transmission swap will dog walk anything stock or the v37 big turbo 6speed AWD tuned to perfection will dog walk anything stock. It's really about what you like and if you can pay for it. But yes if you want cheap power always go LS swap. Get a junkyard motor and do all the bells and whistles and it'll be cheaper than any mod I mentioned before. Reliable and cheap.
Engine from the titan and m56 are similar not the same dual intake and different tune for the engine and transmission but i would stay away from awd in them bad differential problems and cost smh
You just have to make sure you get maintenance done at Infiniti with their fluids and at the right time. A lot of the issues come from trying to be cheap with the maintenance, same with any foreign car. And that's another reason I said just get a m56x with awd because it's the same but suited more for performance than the titan version. But if you don't need AWD (I live where it snows) just get the RWD version it's lighter and less to worry about.
The g35 and g37 are meant for 2 different things. G37 are better for drag racing and street shit. But the g35 handles much better and is much more nimble in corners. It’s a pick your poison type of situation
Also don’t forget the IPL (Infiniti performance line) those are extremely rare cars and they were meant to compete I believe with the Audi S4 and bmw 3 series during the time if I’m not mistaken correct me if I’m wrong tho they came with upgraded brakes suspension and increased HP to 340+ upgraded tires and a 6MT even upgraded interior
@@brokeq50boi80 I feel like the manuals were the best tho I had a q50 but I wanted the ipl but none in my area sadly such beautiful cars I’ve only seen one so far and that was 9 months ago
The 6spd IPL was amazing. Looked great and was so nice to drive. Too bad they ditched it but infiniti never seemed to capture that sports luxo market as much as audi and bmw did
I have a 2007 infiniti g35 sedan and love it. This was my first foreign vehicle and I see why people keep them so long. They’re reliable and fast asf….. I will never get rid of my car. Only thing that has blindsided me was the valley gasket issue but luckily my extended warranty covered that $6k bill….
they definitely arent "fast asf" idk why every G owner goes by this belief. They are quick for what they are but they weight too damn much to be considered a really fast car. Just because it has 306 hp doesn't mean anything if the car can't move. I don't mean to be a hater or anything this is just facts.
@@ItzzShazey They arent light but the 07-08 G35 HR sedan weigh 3500 lbs the same as the old G35 DE Rev up coupes and less than a G37 coupe or sedan. Theyre quick for what they are and get the weight moving easily great throttle response with the dual intakes especially in the 07 sedan cars. No theyre not fast, fast is GT500 or boosted Coyote. For a V6 that doesn’t have any sort of boost they do put in work I have to say
@@ItzzShazey for what it’s worth no the car is not as fast as my S550 Mustang GT. But for a sedan that old and still can accelerate and Handle a 3-4 hour road trip with no issues and be reliable I can’t beat that. For the age of my car 123k miles is not a lot but it’s been a really good car too me…
@@Stang2016 yeah but what I don’t respect about all the G owner fan boys is the fact that you guys say it’s stupid quick but yet an 07 Camry 3.5l with 268hp and an 07 Avalon 3.5l can beat a g35 with almost no issue unless it’s all modded out and almost beat a g37. But that’s another topic that they won’t ever admit to even when it happens in a race. The 6 speed manual is a little quicker I will give it that especially with the hr engine but it doesn’t feel like 300hp

No need to swap a VK into a Q45. 2011+ Infiniti M56/Q70 has the newer VK56 with 420hp and a 7-speed auto. You could manual swap it, but it'd be very expensive and it wouldn't be as fast as the 7AT.
Not even worth swapping a g37 with a v8.. boost it for less money then a swap and you will easily be putting down more power then the n/a v8 you were gonna throw in there.

stock m56 typically dyno high 300s, also there’s like 3 whole total aftermarket parts for it, if you want a V8 don’t get a Nissan engine, why fully fabricate everything custom when you could run a UZ, LS, Hemi, Coyote, S63, even a SBC swap with like $1000 worth of summit racing parts would walk a fbo M56
And a healthy m56 is 420bhrsp
Engine from the titan and m56 are similar not the same dual intake and different tune for the engine and transmission but i would stay away from awd in them bad differential problems and cost smh
You just have to make sure you get maintenance done at Infiniti with their fluids and at the right time. A lot of the issues come from trying to be cheap with the maintenance, same with any foreign car. And that's another reason I said just get a m56x with awd because it's the same but suited more for performance than the titan version. But if you don't need AWD (I live where it snows) just get the RWD version it's lighter and less to worry about.
Look into the Infiniti M56. Comes stock with a vk56, big body sedan, not entirely sure if they came with a manual transmission as an option though.
They don’t I love mine I’ve owned 6 infinitis from 2000i30 to the 2017 q60rs and I love the m56 more than all closest comparison was g37 coupe
@@TaeCars I'd love to drive one one day, definitely like the styling. A murdered out sleeper would be something cool to see.
@@dni_g3533 man if you in nc you can take mine for a spin
@@TaeCars big bet 👀👀
@@TaeCars why do you say that? More reliable than a RS400 or just cause you prefer v8's?
The g35 and g37 are meant for 2 different things. G37 are better for drag racing and street shit. But the g35 handles much better and is much more nimble in corners. It’s a pick your poison type of situation
You Forgot The J30 Infiniti Egg Back lmao
vr30 is the best one on the list hands down
The Q45 engine is better than the VK56 he's referring to. It is practically built for boost, and overbuilt in factory form.
The best VK’s is the 45 & 50
Bro tell us how to make a v6 300 fast
I got the infinity M56 x....awd V8....need to make at least 600whp....help me out please
Infiniti standard features include the bark of a Chihuahua and the bite of a Gerbil. 😂😂
Some of the Ipl cars are manual. Especially the g37 it’s a coin flip if it’s the auto or not
@@brokeq50boi80 I feel like the manuals were the best tho I had a q50 but I wanted the ipl but none in my area sadly such beautiful cars I’ve only seen one so far and that was 9 months ago
The 6spd IPL was amazing. Looked great and was so nice to drive. Too bad they ditched it but infiniti never seemed to capture that sports luxo market as much as audi and bmw did
Ived owned 4 G coupes so far. My 2nd was an ipl coupe grey with red interior. Amazing car. Really quick. And handled great
In Japan the g35 to the q50 and up are Nissan skylines
👌🏾
While we on infiniti id say make a video if you can on the infiniti fx35 fx37 fx45 fx50 and qx70. Now that would be epic
They make a m56 with the vk56de but it’s like $15,000 😂
I have a Powerlab setup I made 540rwhp..
Whatever Lexus equivalent to this is, I'm go with dat 🤷🏻♂️
@@ItzzShazey I feel you but again when you’re not used to anything such as this particular car in a semi -luxury segment “I came from a Pontiac G6 GT coupe with 201hp” it’s pretty quick. But since then I got rigid of the Pontiac paid off the G35 and also own a S550 Mustang GT.
I was thinking about trading in my G35 for a Q50 but since I have access to Apple CarPlay I am good with it especially since the miles are low for 2007.
I found a M45 with a 6 speed manual in Florida this lady is selling me for $6k
Do Acura bruh 🗣
So where do 3.7 q50 owners sit?
Oh yea it’s a great car and all if you have money to actually:
1. Get one (preferably new)
2. Fix one
3. As long as it’s not someone else’s sloppy 2nd’s
Chances are your get sloppy 2nds anything after 80k Is sloppy 2nds good luck finding one under that and not over paying..
First car 96 I30 rwd second car 98 Q45 rwd third car M35x awd forth car 2010 G37 rwd fifth car 2015 Q50 rwd I only drove a g35 coupe I never owed one tho my license plate holder on my Q45 said Team Infiniti I miss that car my only v8 team Infiniti 🏁
You can spend about 3k on a slap on turbo kit
me driving my g35x
No need to swap a VK into a Q45. 2011+ Infiniti M56/Q70 has the newer VK56 with 420hp and a 7-speed auto. You could manual swap it, but it'd be very expensive and it wouldn't be as fast as the 7AT.
Another route is a twin turbo VK45. Engines easier to get but parts??
Just wait till you realize its a rebadged skyline V series
Not even worth swapping a g37 with a v8.. boost it for less money then a swap and you will easily be putting down more power then the n/a v8 you were gonna throw in there.
Boy you need a cup of Folger's and a cigarette to keep up, when this dude gets to popping his grease.
Got a 2009 infiniti fx50s, v8 (race motor look it up), 395hp, with 280k miles on it and i surprise a looootta people when they're lookin at my taillights!!!! 😂 😂
Laughs in g35xs
that Q45 idea would be sick!
Y’all sleeping on my (S51) FX35/37/50.
Infiniti m56 shoulda came in manual
Skyline in Japan. Lots of potential for sure. More room than the Z.
