But with Dodge heading towards the EV route it’s mod season. Like the late 70’s. Everyone was modifying their muscle cars because they weren’t made anymore.
Can just buy a Mercedes E 55 AMG, assembled, running, driving for way cheaper than building a lame Dodge from scratch. Charger's and E Class = same chassis, but we all know Mercedes makes the better car

Powertrains are bulletproof this generation, M113 V8 and 5 speed trans just keep going. Mercedes made after 2012 are the ones to avoid. That’s when quality really suffered. 90’s mercedes were good and then chrysler merge ruined it all

I agree. I suggest that you put in a full Stroker kit just to have it all done. Stroke it out to a 392 for high boost levels or a 397 for a N/A monster. Add on a dual fuel pump system, and you’re good to go. That HP70 with be a problem at some point but that’s completely up to the driver

Absolutely!!! So True about the crazy prices that are really going all over the place. I sold my 11' P7B to my folks but I'm starting to regret that now and I ordered a 22' Charger Redeye-Jailbreak that I'm planning to trade my 15' RT in for. I been really thinking about just keeping the RT in the collection and avoid the dealer lowball BS. I love my RT and its been paid off for a couple years now and still solid💪🏾
The 345 is the best hemi. Hands down. No question... Funny, they make it the exact amount of liters as sbc 350 but yes, they have different borexstroke but to be honest back in the day they just threw numbers on them. I don't even know if the 350 actually equals out to 350. It has a 3.48 stroke and a 4-in bore. The LS2 has a 4-in bore 4 in stroke along with the LQ4 lq9 ly6
As long as you have any 2015 up dodge charger or Challenger frame you’re really in good shoes for the future regardless because trying to buy one after 2023 the expected price range for Dodge RT will be $47,000 imagine that when you could’ve bought a used one now for 20 grand

People talk down on the 5.7 talking about it’s the “entry level” but you can do so much more with it than the 6.4. I’m not sure how much power you can push out of the 5.7 but I’m sure you can run up there with the scats

The block is the same size but the cylinder walls are a different thickness to get the same strength in the block it’s a lot more work plus there’s a lot of other factors price of purchase, insurance, etc. I was gonna get a 2018 scat but they wanted over 40,000 I got a 2017 RT for 28,000 with way less miles if you want NA power scat if you want to build it up yourself 5.7
Per MMX, the hellcat blower adapter doesn’t fit the 6.1 and the older 5.7/6.4 hemi. If memory serves my correct they said it’ll fit any hemi from 2011+
Yeah me and the wife have a 2020 challenger R/T with a little over 32,000 miles and we plan on keeping that especially with all the mark ups of the V8 dodges and mopars in general

Actually from like 2006. The dodge set motors will fit. And honestly all u are building if u do what he says is a “Drag Pak”. A drag pak is a 5.7 or 6.1(I think) with a 3 liter supercharger. But a 5.7 threw 6.4 is the same motor externally. Just bigger internals.
This guy got me ready to keep my 2015 rt same color and all, I’ve been thinking about trading it in for a hellcat i have about 87,000 miles on it already got my headers but they delete the cats. And i thought the rt transmission could only hold up to 500 hp don’t forget the driveline and rear differential
If you're getting a hellcat, means you haven't been watching much racing channels lol, u got mustang gt on e85 and some mods that eat those or keep up, kinda sad when the mustang only close to 500hp and the other one is at 700hp lmao, save your money get a real sports car

I have Daytona 5.7 2017 To completely rebuilt transmission at the dealership 5000 to completely remanufacture your engine 5000 that’s real real cheap compared to hellcat and scat pack honestly the 5.7 will be the best for your money those superchargers will cost 10,000 alone so if you have any issues with engine and transmission easily $15-$25,000 to get your hellcat replaced or repaired
yes, essentially, because the 5.7's are able to withstand boost much better than the 6.4....without forced induction, nope, not at all tho..with cams, and full bolt ons, you can get an r/t at about the same level as a hellcat with the dumb'd down black key which is roughly around 500 hp but that's about it....r/t's are good for tuners who can really build on their vehicles to make them high performance monsters while scatpacks are for those who want all of the power out of the box and just want to thrown on some minor bolt ons and a decent tune....scats are already in the wind with other v8 muscle coupes like SS's, and GT's while an r/t stock is basically comparable to a high end v6's like the 6th gen camaro rs's, g37's, 370'z's, and bk2 Genny coupes with the 3.8, so of course, the r/t has some ways to go to actually compete with similar displacement vehicles..

Only if you build it and boost it. NA they are dogs. 6.1s are a much better platform to modifiy. Remember no replacement for displacement!
