John Densmore - such a powerful and sensitive drummer that really listened to his band mates and contributed so very much to creating the mood of the Doors music. Thank you for choosing this song Sina! Wonderful!
At 59 I just discovered all of this recently and I love going down memory lane it's sad on one hand but happy on the other plus knowing I lived in the best generation of music. She is great.

Yes, please! Sina is almost unbelievably good here being able to catch and adopt Densmore’s style: crisp, light, with airy cymbals, and still moving the band ahead on firm shoulders. Yes, this is in 4/4 tempo but there’s so much more to be amazed at and if you are a drummer yourself, you know it. So, be meek and be silent. Sina never shows off ..anything but respect! And yes, you do!
I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and saw the Doors live in LA when I was about your age Sina, so keep them classics coming. Congrats on your praise from John Densmore. If that doesn't tell you you're on the right track nothing will. Also congrats to your Dad for being your mentor. His legacy will live on through you.

Sina is really good, I enjoy listening to her play and to those who thinks she is average, forget it. She is really good, keep going woman. You have millions of fans all over the world.
What I love watching and listening to Sina covers is that the drum sound is enhanced. It makes you feel like you are right there in the studio. When we listen to song in our cars we usually turn up the Bass for a more realistic sound. These RUclips videos are great. The cover song has the drum beats extenuated and clearer than normal and we don't need to turn the bass, just the volume. Great job Sina! Love all your videos.
This girl really feels the music, I think she was born with those gifts of interpreting all the beauty that music gives, magnificent interpretation and congratulated by John Densmore
What a song! What a great job drumming!!! Tapping my fingers all the way through along with Ms Sina. Fantastic fun to watch you. Took me right back, chills and all, to the summer of '67. This was the first Door's song I'd ever heard. It was 1970 and my Neighbor, 8 years my senior played to it on his 6pc Rogers Drum set with 5 Zildjiian Cymbals. He was a Graduate of the Hart School of Music. His name was Frank Izzo.. I ran out the next day and bought the album for the extended version. The 45 was too short. He taught me several things that day: to play my hi hats semi open, rim shots and snare work. Although the song featured Morrison, Manzarek's amazing keyboards and Robby Krieger on Guitar along with John Densmore who gave me chills with that staccato single beat on the Snare Drum leading into the song, this was my introduction inro Rock and Roll followed by the Beatles, CTA, CCR, The Rolling Stones and so many more while sitting on the shag carpet in his room amidst black lights, posters and pot. He played along to albums, never missing a beat and I loved every minute of it from the time when I was 7yo and would sit in his driveway listening to his top 40 band playing through his basement window. The Bass Player called me Beaver and made fun of me. Mikey Casher. Years later he got clean and sober. He came to talk to Frank who was on a drug binge and wouldn't come to the door. I met him on the front porch and he made an amends to me.I was 17 It would be two more decades before I got clean and sober and began making my own amends. Sadly, Frank died at age 39 in 1989. Very well done! its so good to see the younger people like yourself not just listening but also playing good music and not that other shite....keep it up Sina:)
Everyone is entitled to their OWN opinon; but I, as a drummer from those days, would have to SAY--John Densmore was not only an EXCELLENT drummer--but an INTELLIGENT one as well. He only employed what each song required. And he exhibited a good number of techniques during his career. Also, I witnessed his "roll-speed." The man was FAST, and CRISP.
I remember a kid in high school who was quite a good musician, who said Densmore was a very MUSICAL drummer -- just what you're saying. I saw The Doors live from the front row of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and I'd be inclined to agree.
@@johnthorstensen4765 Thank you, John. I never really SAW the Doors, but I definitely WORE OUT their albums. And as a drummer myself, it wasn't too difficult to notice his profic- iency.
@@philmontejano5971 Oh, I don't care who was BETTER. In MY humble opinion, Roberto Clemente was better (a more com- plete athlete) than Babe Ruth, but---so what? I was reeponding to a dude who felt Densmore was an inferior Drummer. Have fun, guys.

Sina is a combination of all who have inspired her, and she is very good at channeling them as her videos show, I love how Sina has given this classic song a heavier Bass Drum presence as well as an overall great remix, Keep on persuing your dreams Sina 😊
Jim, Robbie, John and Ray would be impressed! BRAVO !!
Sina-drums as close to a time machine as there is. thank you for the trip
Very well done! its so good to see the younger people like yourself not just listening but also playing good music and not that other shite....keep it up Sina:)
Another fave song, another fantastic cover---GO SINA!!!!!! YOU are one rockin' lady!!!
Agreed100 ❤️
Great drumming, a brilliant take! You really breathe new life into this timeless classic!
This girl is so awesome on the drums it's amazing she could play for any band and I'm sure any band would be glad to have her
Everyone is entitled to their OWN opinon; but I, as a drummer from those days, would have to SAY--John Densmore was not only an EXCELLENT drummer--but an INTELLIGENT one as well.
I never really SAW
the Doors, but I definitely WORE OUT their albums. And as a
drummer myself, it wasn't too difficult to notice his profic-
iency.
Carl Palmer was and still is better.
John agrees
@@philmontejano5971 Oh, I don't care who was BETTER. In MY
humble opinion, Roberto Clemente was better (a more com-
plete athlete) than Babe Ruth, but---so what?
I was reeponding to a dude who felt Densmore was an inferior
Drummer. Have fun, guys.
Very cool. I was in grade school when this song hit the airwaves and I have always loved it. You bring a great new freshness to this classic and you look awesome playing the drums.
Totally immersed in the music, living in the moment, awesome talent.
Just like John Densmore, Sina. Great drumming as always.

SINA IS THE BEST AMAZING DRUMMER LOVE IT SHINE ON JUST BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU ❤❤❤🥁🥁🥁❤🥁🥁
