Very good sina drummer 🎬📽❤🎥📺👈😎🎸 l see you
In the Garden of Eden(darn snake). Well, got a great song out of it anyway.
Amazing I'm 66 and cut my teeth on drums trying to play this! She's got it down pat!
Danke für die herrlichen 20 min Drum
I am 78 year old rocker. I have had the good fortune to be of the age when rock music got it's start. I've listen most all rock bands good and bad. The drums got more inportant in the 70' but there were great drummers like Gene Kuppa who were pioners of this craft. I love how Sina make sure when she cover a song she take lot's of time to learn each dummer song and does it the way they did instead of trying to change it. Tha't's a sign of respect. Also some of the cover she has done are very hard she has to learn a lick that lot's have tried and cannot do. I've been watching Sina for about 5 or more years she has change a little in her style like holding the drun stick old traditional way in her left hand. The way I was first taught at 10 years old.. She is an outstanding Drummer .Way beyond lot's twice her age. Keep it up girl.
You forgot Buddy Rich.... And there were many others.
Nice crazy drumset
And they made a movie about Gene Kruppa.
Im NOT to... well YOU ARE VERYCLRVER❤😢
@@PatrickJDoyle-bw3fuGene was way beyond his time. Excellent drummer.
All that I can say is YES, the girl is out of time it should be 1969. Great talent thanks
Another 75-year old here. Sina really added something to this old classic.
I’m 75 and still rockin’. I love Sina. I heard a rumor that she was born with drum sticks in her hands. The video really showcases her talent and stamina. Yes stamina, she was in that groove for almost 18 minutes and I don’t think she broke a sweat. Hats off to you girl!
I remember rocking to the long version of this song when I was not much older than her. I am 72 now and she brings back that same rocking energy.
I remember when IB released this crazy song. Was supposed to be “In the garden of eden” but drugs and alcohol turned it into this title at least according to Doug Ingle. The drum solo was revolutionary because of its length. Only Baker’s “Toad” would rival it in rock music.
A perfect cover as usual Sina. I think releasing these videos in their entirety is a great idea. Maybe if your arms are up for it you can attack Toad someday. Thanks for posting, always glad to support your platforms. Bravo!!
You forget Jon Hiseman´s "Time Machine" from Colosseums´s "Daughter of Time"
Another version of the story is the sound system was so bad the audience had no idea what the words were. So they repeated the mumbling they could hear. That's when it went from "In the garden of Eden" to Inna gada da veda.
I got that version second hand. My next door neighbor was a (low skill) drummer who had been mentored by Doug Ingle. My neighbor was a highly talented canvas picture painter who should have done more of that than drumming.
I saw Iron Butterfly on April 20, 1968 at Shady Grove Amphitheater, Gaithersburg, MD. I was 12 years old and this was my first concert. You, my girl, are a reincarnation of Ron Bushy. Thank you for the incredible memories.
I am a product of that area of music, as I'm 75. Listened to this song on many night while stationed in the US Army in then West Germany. She nailed it.
66 Years old now and this is still my favorite song for drums! Great job Sina. I hope you enjoyed playing it as much I did listening to you. Thanks.
Eins der großartigsten Stücke - überhaupt und vom Sina Team.
This is Sina at her finest and a treasure for all drum lovers. Thank you Mike for putting this special edit together for us. Prior to visiting Sina-Drums for the first time three years ago this weekend I never heard of Iron Butterfly or In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. You Mike and Sina have opened my eyes and ears to music I would have not known otherwise. I am very grateful this Thanksgiving that Sina-Drums came up on my radar and for the joy that you Mike, Sina and all your collaborators have brought since.
💓
yep shes a pro
this song came out when I was about 8 years old (1968) and from that moment on I wanted to be a drummer...I am thrilled to see the younger ones take interest in this classic song...always on of my favorites to listen to and play!
"I never heard of Iron Butterfly or In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" WHAT !!!!!!
@@Phil-Paris-France Yes I know!! - My ignorance was astonishing. But thanks to Sina & Mike - I'm now listening to real music and catching up fast :)
I find it nothing short of miraculous just how well orchestrated the body functions must be in sync in order to create such perfection. The mind and it’s communications to the muscles, the reflexes and central nervous system, the talent and skill plus all the hours to years of practice and the support. Totally amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Well said!
Brings back pleasant memories! 20 years ago I would take my two Grandsons out to the garage and listen to this song in the Car on Deep Tracks every Saturday night at 8PM!!
Because this song was such an essential part of my youth, I could listen to this continuously and never get tired of it. I had the privilege of seeing Iron Butterfly perform this live many years ago. Sina's version is amazing!! Thank you for sharing this.
I love watching her do the drum solo. I have watched this like 5 times now.
That's the spirit!
Sina is definitely
something special. A true treasure in the music field!
The cool thing about this video is that this song probably came out before Sina's parents were born! That's awesome...great job girl!
14 juin 1968
I remember when this song was first released and as soon as I heard it, I KNEW it was something different - something important. I just never realized just HOW important it has become. I've watched/listened to some of Sina's drum video and they have always impressed me - especially for her young age - but this one just blew me away. I'm not a drummer but watching this video I know this is not an easy song to duplicate as precisely as she has AND with the emotion intended. And I've always remembered that drum solo some six minutes into the song (just before AM radio would cut the track) but I never realized until now that there is actually another drum solo in the last few minutes! How did I ever miss that one??? All I can say of Sina's presentation here is a jaw dropping "WOW"
Ahhh, the memories from years gone by. Great job Sina, and great job Mike putting this all together. 👏👏👏👏
It wasn’t until this moment that I realized how much this anthem was a drum exhibition. Good on ya, Sina !
That was AWESOME Sina! You were wailing on those drums for nearly 20 minutes and every beat was perfectly placed. Bravo...
The world needs more Sina's in it. I hope this inspires others to follow in her footsteps. In my humble opinion, Rush can't reunite for a tour without taking Sina with them.
Geddy ,Alex and Sina - what a combination - the old and the new.
She’s one of a kind. You won’t find many more sinas out there. This girl has technique well beyond her years. Phenomenal!! ❤❤❤
As the Evolution of Humans and Drum Kits take place, Sina Doering, "born yesterday as far as age goes" is the new standard of all humanity that puts sticks to Brass and Skins. SIMPLY REMARKABLE. God Bless Her and us to here that Talent
1 zu 1 wie das original...unfassbar genial
I keep watching this... it is, actually, phenomenal, and probably the BEST that the talented Sina has ever performed... it is spectacular!
Not to be "weird" or otherwise but she has grown and developed her talents over the last few years since.
An incredible addition to any band... ?? We need a drummer like this!
Love revisiting these classic videos of Sina. Thanks Mike for doing this. Really love the BTS looks as well with Sina honing her craft, or just showing her silly side and having a bit of fun.
Best TomTom-Solo ever!
This song just never gets old. And watching/listening to Sina showcase her skills never will either. Thanks Mike for giving us both versions, old and new. The idea of sharing some of the, how you two did its, productions was genesis. I'm sure you have terabytes of others to work with, so keep doing what your doing and I'm sure we will eat them up. Until next time, take care.
As per SINA's previous 'release' of this video cover, she NAILED IT (99%+) 'note for note'; what a talented young lady !!!
Fantastic. This song and almost every note and beat is burned into my brain from loving it so much as a kid. I'm no musician, but as far as I can tell she has every thing down PERFECT. --- ***THANK YOU***
It's been years since any performer has given me goosebumps, but this one got me multiple times, and even brought tears of joy during the final few minutes. The final version posted a few years ago also brought these emotions, so hearing it again, and getting the same reaction, means this is something special. The documentary is briliiant, too.
Thanks you, Sir, that's so nice!
Same here. Love those feelings of pins and needles shooting through my brain as I hear something special.
Omg! Didn’t miss a beat, flawless,I remember when it came out, drummer was the best part, there is also a live album version as well, thank you so much
She's Great alright
This takes me back to my teenage years when I'm now 64.
A masterpiece. Brilliant, just brilliant. I could rewatch this forever. Thanks for making it possible. Bravo Sina. 17:41
At the moment on cloud nine as the whole magic bunch’s got their mojo working and Sina’s approaching to her solo part. The whole band is working wonderfully and getting in tune with just the right spirit. I’m in. This is what psychedelia means! Sina- A wizard, a true star!!
Eisenschmetterling🥁
She did all that without losing her phone, thats awsome
Ich hab noch nie ein so perfektes drum-cover gesehen, eine Wahnsinns- Leistung. Es ist eines meiner Lieblingssongs aus den 70ern. Ich bin selbst Drummer und 73.
wish there was a Sina CD. for this.
This girl is a treasure for sure. That song has to set a record for longest song so far. I am very familiar with that old rock song. Sina has an incredible talent for memorization of drum parts and fills. It is one thing to play sheet music the same every time. It is another thing to play your own version of someone else's song by ear. But it is quite another thing entirely to be able to dismantle a song and put it back together exactly the same way the original musician did it. And then play the entire song yourself from memory, especially when the song is nearly twenty minutes long. This was all accomplished without a single mistake. WOW. Don't you just want to give that girl a Hug? She is truly amazing on those drums. Brings tears to my eyes just watching her. In my next life I want 100 daughters just like her. Thank you, Sina. That was incredible.
Well played. The birth of metal.
I think Ringo heard this drum solo before the Abbey Rd. sessions.
Love seeing Sina in 4k. Absolutely love the variety you are bringing to us. I have to say that I really miss seeing Rick attacking the keyboard. That was every bit as stunning as Sina's solo. Keep up the fantastic work. The AI is very nice also. 🥇🏆🎭
P E R F E C T I O N !!!
That was an absolutely amazing performance. I love the way your drums sound. I've been watching you for years playing the drums and your so Talented, Creative and Beautiful
S.E.N.S.A.C.I.O.N.A.L
I have been listening to both versions of
this song that have Sina it very often.
OH MY GOD-da-Da-Vida, that was absolutely AMAZING! Thank you Sina!
WOW!!!! In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida never sounded better Sina
GENIAAAAAA !!! THE BEST !!! The best solo drum I've ever heard !!! 👏👏👏
Phenomenal cymbal play. Sina's timing is impecable.
this was the song that cemented my interest in playing drums back in 1980
Wow, just wow. One of my all time favorite Rock Songs. Great Drum Skils. Watched some of your other Classic Rock Covers and all of them are great. Real handmade Drumplay from old songs by a young person! Very nice!
As always: Excellent!! In the top 10 of your videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Awww. A blast from the past. Danke für die Erinnerung (Mike + Sina). Ein Genuss. Und visuell in diesem Video -> Sina pur. Großartig. M. E. ist das mit den Benachrichtigungen so i. O. und kann bleiben. Habt ein schönes WE.
What a performance 🤩
While spinning this track our father would jokingly yell "your record is stuck". Thank goodness for underground AM stations back in the day. I loved pop music back in the day too, but that underground stuff closed the music loop for me. Keep up the good work Sina!
The first song I added to my iPod was this one, 2 long versions and 1 short AM version. I would listen to all of them one after the other. I have always loved this drum solo. I did not hear any difference from the original long recordings either in the sound of the drums or the beats. I especially liked that it was a recording of the music and the drums were live. I wish you all the best in your career, you are the real deal. Keep doing what you do so well.
Wooow......ooowww. I lvoe this song, 100.000.000 likes
I remember dancing to this song in the 60's. The drum solo was my favourite part.
Such a classic! And not just the song, but Sina's wanting to do it again because she's not happy with it. Classic Sina!
You gave Ron Bushy the much-deserved credit for his drumming. Great work!!!
I danced to this song in 1968. All of it...
Me too! When I was in 6th grade we had a substitute teacher for a week. she was young and very hip. She used to bring her albums and play them during art. She'd let us dance as she put it to "get the bugs out" We were exhausted when this song finished. I always think of her when I hear this song. Great memories ❤
The girl can play! It's fun watching her as she drums. GR8 job on a GR8 song, Sina!
Thank you, Mike! I still prefer Sina and friends' cover of this song for so many reasons! Another great video (in my opinion) would be the full 17+ minutes of just Sina isolated!!! And then, Mike, if you really wanted to create an over the top production, digitally set Sina's drums on this song to fireworks! 😆 What made me think of that is that when Sina hits that big tom during the solo, it sounds just like the big loud white firework we get here in the U.S. 🎆
I am impressed.
Sina just being Sina... Amazing!!! Absolutely Amazing!!!
73 an also still ROCKING!!! Sina is so awesome and that song with Sina is absolutely phenomenal!! Keep ROCKING Young Lady! 😜❤
Another fantastic production Mike! The "from scratch" cover you did was also great, but I love hearing a classic like this with the drums really brought forward in the sound mix. Sounds even better overall than the original recording!!
12 year old me loved this one first time I heard it back in 1970.
Oh, and it took me a while to get the drum solo down with my #2 pencils too.
Little Darlin...... you have my attention........ most excelent
Amazing, Outstanding, Perfection at it's Finest. Your hand speed made me dizzy!!
Und wieder ein Ohrenschmaus von Sina👌. Perfekt gespielt, danke für die tolle Aufnahme 👏👏👏
Glad to see it was the full album version, not just the radio version.
Enjoyed it very much when it was first released on Sina Drums 5 years ago and glad to hear it and see this video again on this channel.
Like a swiss watch I’m in awe I could watch you play all day god bless you
VERY impressive! I was hoping you’d get the solo at least close, and you friggin’ nailed it! Great job!
So happy to hear and see this. Thanks a lot Mike. Love both In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida videos, the one here with original music and the version Christian, Anrdrei and Rick did with Sina. My favourite playlist will expand 😀🤩
This sooo brings back memories. Listening to this in my mom and dad's basement, with a home made strobe light spinning. No drugs, just fun!
Hello Mike and Miss Sina, allways great to revisit this classic. Miss Sina, it just don't get any better than this. Enjoyed it the first time back a few years ago when you first covered it. Even better now!
As allways you and your father stay safe this upcoming week.
Randy from nc, usa
Beautiful work. Been listening to this for 50 years. Great job!
Young lady not only do i love your entertainment but my old butt grew up lov'n this song.Big thax to all involved...
This is simply outstanding Mike and Sina. It made me smile immediately as it brought so many memories rushing back after all these years. Thanks so much and wishing you both a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for a great show! The name of the song was originally supposed to be "In A Garden Of Eden", but it changed to this form through coincidences.🤩
The drum solo defined the generation. I loved the song even more when I found out the song was originally “ The Garden of Eden” but as a bar band, the name got changed when some guy too drunk to talk kept asking them to play “ In A Gadda Da Vida”. I had a friend name his band “ Slow Motion Walter” after some drunk kept asking them to play a song but they couldn’t figure out what he was saying until a friend of the guy interpreted for him as said “Smoke on the Water”.
There were TWO drum solos. Her second, while drifting off intensity a bit, was incredible. The first was great, too. But the second was her best interpretation.
This song came out when I was five years old, I'm sixty now. Hats off to you for discovering it and playing it so well!
Boy the Iron Butterfly brings back memories from the late 60s.
A fantastic cover. The best times of music. Thank you Sina and thank you Mike!
Solo from (6:25) to (9:11). When this came out in 1968, I had a classmate who, at the age of 13 could play the solo beat-for-beat flawlessly. Every day I'd go over to his house & nag him to play it, until he did. When he was done, I'd say "Play it again Sam." persistently, until he did, to shut me up❣ Thanks for the memory & kind regards❣
Nothing like a little Iron Butterfly to get you through the night. Excellent work Sina!🤘
The biggest difference between Sina and other drummers that make covers is that Sina is driving the songs forward meanwhile many others is fighting with keeping up with the band...🤪
Great work Sina!
I love this song when you played it with Andrei and Christian and I believe Rick. Still love it even though remastered without the others appearing in the video. Fantastic as always.
O.M.G. ! This song alone is what made me a believer in you !!! BEST DRUM SOLO EVER ! I preferred it better when all parts of the band played together !
OMG, I used to listen to this song all the time. Back in the 70s, I would play it all the time in my high school art class, drove my art teacher nuts 😅
Some young people are absolutely brilliant, she is at the head of the class.
Great Song and Great tribute to lron Butterfly Band
