Also some of the cover she has done are very hard she has to learn a lick that lot's have tried and cannot do. I've been watching Sina for about 5 or more years she has change a little in her style like holding the drun stick old traditional way in her left hand. The way I was first taught at 10 years old.. She is an outstanding Drummer .Way beyond lot's twice her age. Keep it up girl.
Sina is a British young lady who recently went to the Netherlands for two years to finish her drumming. The girl plays the drums exactly the way the original song was made.
I’m 75 and still rockin’. I love Sina. I heard a rumor that she was born with drum sticks in her hands. The video really showcases her talent and stamina. Yes stamina, she was in that groove for almost 18 minutes and I don’t think she broke a sweat. Hats off to you girl!
Brings back pleasant memories! 20 years ago I would take my two Grandsons out to the garage and listen to this song in the Car on Deep Tracks every Saturday night at 8PM!!

Prior to visiting Sina-Drums for the first time three years ago this weekend I never heard of Iron Butterfly or In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. You Mike and Sina have opened my eyes and ears to music I would have not known otherwise. I am very grateful this Thanksgiving that Sina-Drums came up on my radar and for the joy that you Mike, Sina and all your collaborators have brought since.

@@IA_Information_Paris Yes I know!! - My ignorance was astonishing. But thanks to Sina & Mike - I'm now listening to real music and catching up fast :)
It's been years since any performer has given me goosebumps, but this one got me multiple times, and even brought tears of joy during the final few minutes. The final version posted a few years ago also brought these emotions, so hearing it again, and getting the same reaction, means this is something special. The documentary is briliiant, too.
Omg! Didn’t miss a beat, flawless,I remember when it came out, drummer was the best part, there is also a live album version as well, thank you so much
Iron Butterfly wasn’t able to record their music through one of the reputable recording studios so they were forced to go to the LA underground to record their album! Total classic, my all time favorite! So much substance, way before it’s time ❤❤❤
I remember when this song was first released and as soon as I heard it, I KNEW it was something different - something important. I just never realized just HOW important it has become. I've watched/listened to some of Sina's drum video and they have always impressed me - especially for her young age - but this one just blew me away. I'm not a drummer but watching this video I know this is not an easy song to duplicate as precisely as she has AND with the emotion intended. And I've always remembered that drum solo some six minutes into the song (just before AM radio would cut the track) but I never realized until now that there is actually another drum solo in the last few minutes! How did I ever miss that one??? All I can say of Sina's presentation here is a jaw dropping "WOW"
l was a drummer in a rock group in the late sixties and we won a number of battles of the bands in Massachusetts playing this great tune, and Sina plays it exactly the way is played.

It may not be the greatest drum solo in rock history but it is one of the most recognizable and iconic and I do love the way you played it. You absolutely nailed this whole song. Well done!
While spinning this track our father would jokingly yell "your record is stuck". Thank goodness for underground AM stations back in the day. I loved pop music back in the day too, but that underground stuff closed the music loop for me. Keep up the good work Sina!
I’m 73 and had the pleasure of seeing Iron Butterfly play the Roof Garden at Indiana Beach more than once. Zeppelin was my first concert. I love covers when they are done right. The way Sina does.
Ich hab noch nie ein so perfektes drum-cover gesehen, eine Wahnsinns- Leistung. Es ist eines meiner Lieblingssongs aus den 70ern. Ich bin selbst Drummer und 73.
My wife & I bought our first brand new car in 1969--a '69 Dodge Charger (we fell in love with a Charger from the movie Bullitt)--and it came with an 8-track player. There was supposed to be a demo 8-track with it but it was stolen somewhere along the supply chain. Dealer said go out and buy one you want. Of course it was Iron Butterfly's In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida (we were a couple of hippie-types), because we both loved the song. Bad thing about the 8-track is about half-way through the drum solo the tape had to switch directions so it would slow the volume down, wait five seconds, switch to the new track, and bring the volume back up. Hated that, so I just loved whatching Sina play the whole thing through. I'm saving this video so I can watch it any time I want. Thank you Sina for bringing back such great memories.
Such perfection. I am 68 and heard Iron Butterfly as a teen and Sina plays the drums just as good or better than the original drummer. 1000% audio orgasm! Thank you!!
That was an absolutely amazing performance. I love the way your drums sound. I've been watching you for years playing the drums and your so Talented, Creative and Beautiful
I’ve watched this clip a hundred plus times. I usually just want to see certain parts, but can’t stop watching the whole damn thing once I start. Amazing every time.
I bought that 45 as a teenager. I listened to it over and over. It remains a classic that today’s music can’t touch. This girl played it to perfection! A stunning performance!! I will listen many more times to this!
I have never seen this on a 45. It takes the entire side of an LP. Update: I had to look it up, it was released in a shortened (just under 3 minutes) version on 45. Now I know.
This song just never gets old. And watching/listening to Sina showcase her skills never will either. Thanks Mike for giving us both versions, old and new. The idea of sharing some of the, how you two did its, productions was genesis. I'm sure you have terabytes of others to work with, so keep doing what your doing and I'm sure we will eat them up. Fantastic. This song and almost every note and beat is burned into my brain from loving it so much as a kid. I'm no musician, but as far as I can tell she has every thing down PERFECT. --- ***THANK YOU***

Love revisiting these classic videos of Sina. Thanks Mike for doing this. Really love the BTS looks as well with Sina honing her craft, or just showing her silly side and having a bit of fun.
I remember when IB released this crazy song. Was supposed to be “In the garden of eden” but drugs and alcohol turned it into this title at least according to Doug Ingle. The drum solo was revolutionary because of its length. Only Baker’s “Toad” would rival it in rock music. A perfect cover as usual Sina. I think releasing these videos in their entirety is a great idea. Maybe if your arms are up for it you can attack Toad someday. Thanks for posting, always glad to support your platforms. Bravo!!
Another version of the story is the sound system was so bad the audience had no idea what the words were. So they repeated the mumbling they could hear. That's when it went from "In the garden of Eden" to Inna gada da veda. I got that version second hand. My next door neighbor was a (low skill) drummer who had been mentored by Doug Ingle. My neighbor was a highly talented canvas picture painter who should have done more of that than drumming.
Currently 76, and never got into drugs! However, this song has always taken me to another level! There were times while driving between Delaware and WashDC in the late 60’s, I was so much into this song that didn’t remember I was actually driving! I find it nothing short of miraculous just how well orchestrated the body functions must be in sync in order to create such perfection. The mind and it’s communications to the muscles, the reflexes and central nervous system, the talent and skill plus all the hours to years of practice and the support. Totally amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I’m not a drummer, but I think a performance like this has to come through you without thinking about it. It just seems natural, a flow and right! Well done Sina!
I’m 76 years old and I remember when this song first came out. You nailed it young lady. You can do much better than RUclips, you belong on stage in a professional band. That was awesome.
She is just crazy good. God This is great. I of course had the LP album way back when. born in 57 so this is my era of music and formative years. And I didn't even do drugs but would get lost in this music almost like meditation
Finding that Iron Butterfly album at a thrift store and playing it on my turntable brought me back to the day when it was recorded. Wow. Watching Sina play this . AMAZING ! I am now a follower.
You are so brave to do this cover, considering that there are some of us still alive who know this song note for note and beat for beat. Congratulations on a job well done!
Because this song was such an essential part of my youth, I could listen to this continuously and never get tired of it. I had the privilege of seeing Iron Butterfly perform this live many years ago. Sina's version is amazing!! Thank you for sharing this.

Wow! So satisfying to experience a Master Craftsman performing their Trade.
She is just crazy good. God This is great. I of course had the LP album way back when. born in 57 so this is my era of music and formative years. And I didn't even do drugs but would get lost in this music almost like meditation
Wow, ganz großen Respekt vor so einer Leistung.
It's nice to see young people enjoy the music that's immortal
Because this song was such an essential part of my youth, I could listen to this continuously and never get tired of it. I had the privilege of seeing Iron Butterfly perform this live many years ago. Sina's version is amazing!! Thank you for sharing this.
