I was a young16-17 year old hippie when that song came out. I wore out 3 albums listening to that drum solo over and over and over, never growing tired of it. Watching you play this song (About a dozen times now!) or any song you are playing is pure magic! You took us behind the curtain and yet it is still magical! Thank you for what you do for classic Rock tunes as well as anything else you play. I feel blessed to have witnessed such a young professional. Again, Thank You!

Part of being a "cool kid" in junior high (1968) was being able to play the drum solo on your wooden desk top using your thumbs. Great times!

Watching this reminded me of time spent hanging out at recording studios in the 70's. I loved watching the process as a song came together. Sometimes re-writing lyrics at the last minute. Always looking for the best take on the various instruments. Thanks, Mike, for sharing these gems with all of us.
