JereBruceO I think they're Starclassic Maple judging by the inside colour of the drums

I really feel like he had to tone down his playing, he probably played something unreal. Then the sabian guys would've told him to tone it down Ahaha

I doubt it, the more skilled the drummer is the more he/she will show off the drums/cymbals i think he just wanted to show off multiple styles of music and how diverse the cymbals are

what exact hi hats are those! they are too RAD! 😎

Nobody knows for sure... SR2s are re-worked used, anonymous/mystery "better" cymbals (Sabian won't tell), so the hats could be any b20 of the Sabian lines.

I don't know if it's just the mix but most of those cymbals sound like complete garbage which makes no sense given that they are using mostly high end cymbals for the process. The only thing that sounds remotely OK is the ride.

The china sounds pretty good, but all the crashes/hats sound pretty dull i agree

They sound like a mid range cymbal. Personally I thought they sounded better when he did that jazz pattern and he wasn't hitting/crashing as hard.

GritsNDesu I think, in part anyway, that the recording quality is to blame. Granted, that brushed look is definitely not flattering, and changes the sound. But I'm sure these hold up alright, especially considering the cost. I'd totally take the china, and maybe a ride for a larger offhand crash, just because I know those always break the fastest.
