My current favourite song on the EP. It reminds me SO MUCH of the stuff on the Antipop LP. It just has that feel to it. It's definitely Claypool's vocals that remind me of Antipop. Ler's guitar work is insane in this one, and that main heavy bass riff, especially there at the end is instant "Classic PRIMUS". -
This is definetly the best track of 2022 so far! Sounds like restin bones and all the tracks on punchbowl combined! Primus is BACK once again!

I wouldn’t call it basic, but it’s awesome.
They definitely sound more like their younger selves than they have since they WERE their younger selves on this one. Big OG early 90s Primus vibe. Track would fit right in on Tales From the Punchbowl. Partly because Les is using a bass that hasn’t really been used much since those days. And it’s just so dark and trippy and heavy at times. And no overuse of bass filters that sound like wet farts.
This song is a blast, that groovy strange harmonic riff that Ler is playing fit so well into that classic Primus vibe!
It sucks so hard.

I cannot get enough of this. Ler is so fucking good
The guitar lick sounds like a demented circus carnival clown stalking children in the dark. The bass riff sounds like a dying sheep being beaten with a squishy hammer. I love it. Nobody else can sound like Primus!
Well, the new 3-Song PRIMUS EP - CONSPIRANOID has been out for a few days now. I’ve been jamming it nonstop. Les Claypool’s insane bass wizardry is on full throttle and drives each track down an undulating rabbit hole of a thrash-funk journey into Willy Wonka Land meets Dr. Seussville in an unbalanced realm wrought with outlandish conspiracy theories, foolish sycophants following deranged demagogues, and a guitar riff on the last track that is reminiscent of an otherworldly psycho-clown stalking children in a dark circus carnival! I posted each track in the comments. Enjoy!
