“Looks like you having a bad day” 😀 pure gold!
I’m saying a prayer for that second little fish that dropped into the bottom of the boat.… Just when I said that, Geoff pointed.. very caring gesture, Mr. Bealy Good!
That grass is thick as heck now!! Nice work!
Man, that grass has taken off. Not bad for a place many said it wouldn’t grow.
The "grass expert" trolls have reimagined themselves as "concrete construction expert" trolls.🤣
Lots of things are getting big in Bealeyville, grass, fish, and walls! Nice work!
It will be so much fun to walk out your new house early in the morning and cast a few times for bass from the shore. You've done a wonderful job designing your property. 👍
Nothing tastes as good as freshly caught/fried Crappie, Eggs and Grits for an early morning breakfast
Man that grass is amazing, its really shot up and greened up too, looks magnificent
Never get tired of seeing that thick green grass besides the pond. Place really looks gorgeous
He’s having a bad day 😂😂😜
time to mow the grass Mr Bealy good
Nice seeing the variety of larger and smaller fish. Those smaller home grown fish are a good sign.
Thanks for letting us follow along! Good stuff.
Nice looking fish. Great to see the pond continuing to develop into what others said would never happen. Go Bealy Good!
I never imagined that little compost would yield such results. Money well played!!
Nice video Mr Bealy Good, the grass is looking great.
Wow has the grass grown! Educating us fishermen at the same time Geoff. Really interesting. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Interesting!!
As far as pond transport, I worked with a fellow who would buy jetskis that people had burned the impeller out of by runnind Platte River sand through them. He would replace the engine and impeller with the motor and prop from a larger trolling motor. They would go 5 or 6 mph and were very stable with the batteries set low in the hull.
Nice variety of fish 👍🏻🇺🇲
So awesome and that beautiful green grass is breath taking!!
Grass looks amazing!
Great to see girls getting outdoor work and loving it! Bealy good🤩☺
Cool, cool, cool! Bass are a coming! Have a Bealy Good day Y'all!!!❤😊
Wow buddy
The fish are doing great and so too is the grass. Christmas tree idea fantastic.
One of the favorite fish safe areas is chicken wire ball with a block inside. We call this a fishhook trap. Now to sit and watch, as someone will try to swim through one of those trees!
Wow, that grass makes my lawn look like football pitch in the Sahara
My how the grass has grown. You must be very pleased
Was wondering about the fishes and here you are posting a video.....
Glad you notice the one on the floor of the boat, I was worrying about him! 😅
It was nice seeing them working away during one of the last ICF build videos. You're gonna have to mow that grass sometime soon!😁Your place is looking awesome, Geoff.
👍👍👍
Good luck decorating those Christmas trees bro. Great to see the fish doing so well and looks like a good crop of grass ready for hay too. Defiantly get a few bales of there. Safe travels. Ken.
Looks really nice !! Great video!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Almost time to put a Lounge chair and cooler on the island. Fishing time. Heck yeah.
You got a hay field around the ponds. The grass is doing well for sure.
Yea!... Fish hook snags! (that's what would happen to me)
Grass is looking good. Fish are nice young and older thanks for the video
Thanks 👍
I do not know if you are aware of this site but the gentleman built a 5 acre pond just for fishing. You might give it a look, he has done well. It is bamabass pond on utube.
Yeah. I watched some early on. Thanks 😊
Great job ladies and gentlemen on the progressive growth and multiplication of fish in this new pond. Adding structure is the best thing for any body of water. I can't wait until you get the bass stocked. What strand of bass are you going to be stocking? Great video Bealy and things are looking great. God Bless and Good Health.
I wish they would come to my pond.
"so anyway, I was just sitting there talking to Steve when all of a sudden I couldn't breathe" - 3rd Fish
LOL
Wow, look how good the grass looks... amazing ... time for cut jeff
From what I'm seeing, on an Ayahuasca overdose, is that the grass isnt even coming in well enough to cut
All of bamabass guys Xmas trees are in his pond…just a thought, peace…
Looks like a good place to lose a bunch of tackle. Impressive how much the grass has grown. Going to be able to cut it for hay shortly.
We've got a 10 foot artificial tree we'll donate to your cause, it's green...
Fish are looking healthy which shows the pond water is healthy. Did fish Biologists mention the silty water have an effect on fish health over time. Daughter hand line catching fish is a ever lasting memory of growing up. Watching your construction be finished then onto your next developments. each video shows your success God Bless
They did a water quality test and it is good.
We went to wal-mart after Christmas and trees was on sale 50% off. My wife was chomping at the bits to get one and the lady told her they go on 75% in the morning. We got there first and Yelp they was 80% off and we got like 4 different ones . I bet they would have gave u un light ones
The man who Chris recommended to finally get grass to grow on your property is a master greensmith. I still can't believe how well it turned out. Are you going to cut it and sell hay? There are more than a few big rolls there. Chris got 50 rolls on the first cut of his 10+ acre field. I think your property will beat 5 rolls/acre.
BTW, are you going to give the land near the little pond the same treatment? It looks like it could use some fertilizer.
I don’t have all the equipment it takes. Ive been considering doing something up in the front field.
@@BealyGood Chris doesn't have the equipment either. I think his neighbor (was he the one Chris bought his new farm land from?) does the fertilizing and harvesting. I know others also have hay deals worked out with neighborhood farmers / ranchers. Another option is to get some Dexter cattle and sheep to utilize that beautiful pasture you now have. The bonus is grass fed beef steaks on the barbie.
If you put pond reads in carp like this near the pond bank dam like the video again mr bealy b good 👍
Grass looks amazing but unless you’re planning to cut and bale hay you might want to spend some time on the bushhog 😂
Just thinking if you would have put some grass cloth on the bottom of the pond the water would have cleared up immensely!
🤔 I’m not sure about that
Thanks Joeff!!! Are you thinking about dying the pond and are you planning on putting some lights around the dock and island to attract fish??? Luv ya's from Kentucky!!!!!
Definitely some lights. Discussing dye with the pond peeps. Thanks 😊
Jeff have You given it anymore though about putting Cattails plants in on the far side of the Pond. 🤔🤔🤔
There’s definitely going to be something over there.
Oh ya! Jeff what will you do when one of those gets wrapped up in your trolling motor!! Good luck my friend!!
Hopefully I remember they’re there 🤣
Time to backflush the pond filter...pretty brown.😮😅
When he said Hybrid. Was it a Bluegill/Green Sunfish? I don't recall you putting Green Sunfish in. Crazy
I think it was 🤔
Nice,👍👍👍😎😎😎
I was wondering about the bass. Maybe next time.👍
Have you seen that big snapper around? 🐢
Not recently
Did you tell them all the names you gave your fish? Fish Fish, Bubbles, Corky, Bobber, Sharky etc.
Blue sky… fluffy white clouds, am I watching the right channel or have you photo shopped this video? 🤔🤔🤔
🤣🤣🤣👀🤔. It is not a mirage!
This definitely not filmed today because I'm I'm charlotte nc and we just had a monsoon come through lol
I hope it stays down there. There’s 3-6 hours of editing per video so the only ones that are same day are when I do “lives” 😁
@@BealyGood I think it's heading your way
@@petenolte4192 😩
Mr. Bealy, how long does it take for the pond to get clear water? Just wondering because it’s really murky! Pond looks great!
Need to finish all the dirt moving
The lake water is quite cloudy now, is that due to lots of surface flood water coming in to the lake over the winter
?
Yes. Combined with clearing going on around me. Wintertime is rough. But I have a new system to install that’s going to help.
Geoff, will that water color "clean up" any or it is what it is?
Yes. Part of it is the filter I use on the drone.
If I lived nearby, I would offer to mow your lawn. That's the kind of neighbor I am. (❁´◡`❁)
I was just wondering, will the pond ever get more clear or will it always be muddy?
It’s been clear before so after dirt isn’t piled up everywhere, it should be clear again
Jeff I know your really busy but don't you think its time to cut the grass around the pond. Or is Chris taking a crop of hay for his cattle first??? LOL
Mowed the last few days
Mr Bealy. Are you going to bale that lush grass that grew?
No
Are you gonna harvest that fine quality hay
field ? Ok , On another note I feel the need to express my appreciation for the fine quality of women you raise down there in the North Carolina !👍😁✌💪
😁 we finally cut it yesterday
I completely understand that you are the recipient of Mrs Bealys (ya know) things and you have a veritable and almost overwhelming amount of 💩 going on ... I just wanted to know that that fine lush grass cover that you paid good money for while supporting local businesses was gonna be used for maybe helping to feed Chris' beef or something like that ?
@@kennysr.1054 no. It will decompose and feed the soil. I don’t have the equipment it takes to fluff it then bale it
@@BealyGood- good calll on it going back to the soil. Hopefully it doesn’t choke out some of the grass. If you see it happening anywhere it’s easy to go bust up & the grass will come up then, no problem. All that dark green nitrogen filled mulch,,,, it’s gotta build up that soil, exactly as you are doing!! Nice!
Big fish time it's way over due. More pond videos please..is there a way too clear the water up
Yeah. Step one will be to stop digging dirt 😁
@@BealyGood- the clarity is better as it is vs being clear such that the fish are visible from the sky or seen in 8 ft of water I learned for the bass. Here for trout & northern pike they like clear water and avoid predators with better camouflage. Then there’s walleye that like clear or murky water. The biggest walleye we catch are in the rivers and mostly where it’s murky or a demarcation point where clear & murky waters meet! It’s different all over. I’m sure you can clear your pond up some like it did last year for a while. Seems a finicky line as per Bama Bass. I think you have been watching him a bit. Free information there!! 😊
Catch ya later Geoff!! Looking great!
Hmm I Wonder How Long it Will be Till One of the Girls Gets A Fish and Puts in in the Swimming Pool Lol I think for Sure Going to be some Bealy Mischief Thanks
holy crap, that grass is seriously happy. time to pull out the slasher
Making hay this year I see
Geoff have you done any fishing yet?
Some. I need a day off 🤣
Why has the pond water remained so stained?
Construction
Geoff you had all the habitat that you needed with out paying for it,
Who said I paid for this? Also, for the amount of bass going in we actually need a bunch more habitat
BG, I'd say you got your wish on the grass. Knee high already. Maybe need some goats to keep it down.
Geoff…. Borrow Chris’s cattle to graze the grass… neat grass and fertiliser, that’s come on leaps and bounds…
Ian&Jen 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I don't know if your pond folks have spoken about your turbidity or not, but those aerators you're planning are going to make it worse. If you want that water to clear up even a bit to allow the phytoplankton to support the food chain you're going to have to use flocculants in the pond. There's different methods of using and applying the various types. Yours is caused by clay of course, but it still needs to be tested to see which method of flocculation will be best and most cost effective for you. Here's a video: ruclips.net/video/7pxab6KnJ-k/видео.html
I'd love to see your pond clear, it'd be better for the fish and more appealing to swim in for sure! Yes Geoff, like I didn't know you already had enough to do, LOL!
Nice grass but you need to mow it 😂😂😂
You mean harvest. Hay is a valuable crop.
Bealy: "I don't know how many of those Xmas tree fish habitat structures I'll need, I've got 3 sunken boats out there already." I see that your grass isn't coming in well enough to cut, you should have used another company with a better name than Tundra AstroTurf.
Are you going to have your fescue cut and baled?
Doubtful
your due for cutting the grass 🤣😂, great video 👏👏👏👌👌👌👍👍👍
It's not coming in well enough to cut
You mean the grass that naysayers said would never grow?
@@richparks1966 yes it is, it doesnt need cut short, but leveling it off plus the clippings will help the spots that arent growing in have a chance at growing out
@@philhammond5908 No the people with 20/20 vision, saw the 1st few planting attempts fail on the moonscape. No matter what you say, or what kind of naying horse language you use, the fact still remains, whatever it is, it's not actually cut. 20/20 eyes see that, it's a fact.
You need to cut the grass It looks great
My first thought was how do you kill a fake christmas tree?
It takes special skill
Geoff ,you buy all that equipment and the grass at pond is 3 feet deep…lol, peace…
Grass Guy said don’t cut till April so I waited. Lol.
Always good to see the fish growing... though it may be time to think about a lawn mower... it's seems the grass is really growing well... far cry from a year ago.
The top of that tree sticking out of the water would bother me. I wouldn't want something sticking out of my pond.
They moved it. Not sure if I got it on camera.
won't those "tree" be in the way with the kids swimming and jumping in off the dock? Not sure that was the best placement but I wouldn't argue with that lady either... she will kick someones rump for not agreeing with her I think.... LOL
lol. They’re over to the left a good ways.
very brown water. not clear and blue :(
Piling dirt up + rain = brown water
Looks to me like you need a good finish mower for the tractor. 👍👍🚜🚜
Picked one up last week 😁
@@BealyGood good deal 👍👍
Is this required or did you ask them to do the inspection?
Asked. They do a couple a year
No fish were harmed in the making of this YT video. 🤕
Just don't put any Pike or Pickle in your Pond. But Crappy would be another good Fish to put in your Pond.
Great idea but, that's plastic and wire junk. It will rust and corrode and that plastic will be everywhere!! Get Chris to put more stumps in instead! The fish don't like plastics.
How can you fish after they throw all that garbage in the water ? Why would you allow a gas outboard on topur pond ? It will kill more fish than it saves ?
They didn’t throw anything in the water. I’m going to assume you know how Engine works. There’s a propeller in the water that moves it. It’s not dumpy anything else in to make it move.
I think your grass needs cutting
It's to Cry, Plastic Trees in the Pond to sink, that the with Alga over grown, as a Food and hidihg Place for the Fish. This is with Wood from Plant Trees too make.!!! Okay a Work from Specialists., 🤔🤭
I hope you don't intend to fish the pond.Fish swimming round with lures and broken line trailing behind because of your "fish habitat"
wont go down well.
