I noticed it a while back and I don't like the new female pose. It just doesn't look as good as the crossed legs imo. They changed it because the pose wouldn't work with skirts and dresses. It looked weird.
@@Serroh Possibly. I only remember it changed sometime after the Slumber Party challenge because I used the robot in that challenge and the legs were crossed. I was going to use it for the Future Visions challenge and saw that it had changed.
They must have changed it recently! I used the robot in last week’s dreamsnap that I submitted with 44 seconds left to spare before reset. When I did it though it had its original pose! I haven’t been able to get back on to try it out again but how weird!
I wish they would've given us a new companion for the new pose instead of changing the robots, I liked the old one. Also the facial expressions look more animated now
Well I looked up the images on Dreamer's Portal and it appears to have been changed after Sew Delightful update. The images are dated and sure enough, before the last hotfix, the legs were changed. One submission is dated 12 /04 and the legs are no longer crossed.
This must have been the hot fix. I just used him for the last dreamsnap. Even though I didn't use the pose, I know when I was switching to get the robot close in the shot I had to have been cross-legged
Just looked back on some old Dream snaps. I had 3 where I used the robot. Two were in shorts/pans but one was i short dress. The dress one you could kinda see up my skirt (it had tights though). Maybe that's why? But then why change theguy? Sorry for the typos. YT is being weird where I can't see what I'm typingin comments??? until I hit enter????
Oh wow! For the girl avatar, it went from criss-cross apple sauce to side "elegant" seating and for the male avatar, it's just the Heihei pose. I mean, I do birthday parties for a living and when I sit on the ground, I don't sit criss-cross, so maybe that's why? I don't remember anybody complaining 😮
i used the robot for future visions but not the pose. weird they changed it. why not give us both options? 7:30 took me a second also to figure out how i was seeing 2 eve's. it was positioned just right to look like it was actually her in the background talking to the other robot
I wonder if it happened with the hot fix?? I used the robot in my future vision dreamsnap and I didn't go with the companion pose in my final snap but I clicked it a few times... I'm pretty sure it was the old pose then?

I think it was a pose that had lots of clipping issues with dresses which is probably why they changed it
Petition to bring back the old pose, there's nothing special to them anymore, it's just recycled HeiHei and Fox pose
It's probably because you could see up skirts when using the cross legged pose.

The female pose used to be cross legged. I'm guessing it was causing issues with short dresses. I think they changed it with the Sally update.

Mine is the same, my character still sits down and cheers the robot on. But she's no longer sitting crossed legged.
