Female outerside raging and dominant, innerside weaker (Don't call me Misogynistic). Male outerside protective yet submissive, innerside stronger. The femine tantra form performers are Kapaliks and in genuine Tantriks, who sacrifice people to gain power from femine supernatural force of nature. That force we hindus call as "Kali", the devourer, killer, slayer bloodthirsty woman (when raging and dominant) as well as a protective, mothering force (when calm and peaceful). This form of power is approachable through blood....hence, the power is weaker according to the religious morale. Tantriks generally do ominous things with their power like a villain. It comes as this voodoo power gives arrogance, pride, powerfullness attitude etc. On the other hand, "Aghori"s follow the wild, rustic form of male supernatural force. It is "Shiva". Shiva is beyond nature and natural limitations (beyond Cosmic concept), so the male force is powerful yet it doesn't look apparently. Aghoris consume not only corpse meat, but also faeces and every disgusting thing you may not imagine. That's how they worship and perform this ritual....pain yourself, not other lives...eat disgusting things so that you don't have arrogance, pride over yourself and your entity....practicing to go beyond own consciousness, not through peaceful calm meditation but by a ritual. Though it looks like voodoo in common, it isn't. It is an interesting fact that Zoroastrianism became extremely strong as the Roman Empire became Christian. With the Romans and Persians at each other's throats, Christianity became associated with the Romans and local Christian churches in Persia became targets of the Sassanids, who also promoted Zoroastrianism to ensure a buffer to the Christian Romans. @ After the Muslim conquest of Persia, Zoroastrians were given dhimmi status and subjected to persecutions; discrimination and harassment began in the form of sparse *violence.*[11] Those paying Jizya were subjected to insults and humiliation by the tax collectors.[12][13][14] Zoroastrians who were captured as slaves in wars were given their freedom if they converted to Islam.[12] Many fire temples, with their four axial arch openings, were usually turned into mosques simply by setting a mihrab (prayer niche) on the place of the arch nearest to qibla (the direction of Mecca). Zoroastrian temples converted into mosques in such a manner could be found in Bukhara, as well as in and near Istakhr and other Persian cities.[15][full citation needed] Urban areas where Arab governors made their quarters were most vulnerable to such religious persecution, great fire temples were turned into mosques, and the citizens were forced to conform or flee.[16] Many libraries were burnt and much cultural heritage was lost.[17] *Gradually there were increased number of laws regulating Zoroastrian behavior, limiting their ability to participate in society, and made life difficult for the Zoroastrians in the hope that they would convert to Islam.*[17] Over time, persecution of Zoroastrians became more common and widespread, and the number of believers decreased significantly. Many converted, some superficially, to escape the systematic abuse and discrimination by the law of the land.[12] Others accepted Islam because their employment in industrial and artisan work would, according to Zoroastrian dogma, make them impure as their work involved defiling fire.[18] According to Thomas Walker Arnold, Muslim missionaries did not encounter difficulty in explaining Islamic tenants to Zoroastrians, as there were many similarities between the faiths. According to Arnold, for the Persian, he would meet Ahura Mazda and Ahriman under the names of Allah and Iblis.[18] Once a Zoroastrian family converted to Islam, the children had to go to Muslim religion school and learn Arabic and the teachings of the Quran and these children lost their Zoroastrian identity.[12] These factors continued to contribute to increasing rates of conversion from Zoroastrianism to Islam.[19] A Persian scholar commented, "*Why so many had to die or suffer? Because one side was determined to impose his religion upon the other who could not understand*.

a small community of Armenian Zoroastrians survived up till 1914 in anotolia , they had maintained the religion after Armenia became christian . Sadly they were murdered by the turks in the Armenian genocide .
My own explanation is that since ancient times there were three groups of Iranians, the first two of which were mostly in the villages: Farmers Clergymen army men During the Sassanid period, two groups were added to these, which were mostly in the cities: Bureaucrats Craftsmen During the two centuries of Arab rule and two centuries of Iranian Muslim rule, most of Iran's people remained Zoroastrians, and the minority in the cities were Assyrian Christians and Jews. Army soldiers who were not killed in the wars, either went to the north of Iran, or to China and India. Bureaucrats and craftsmen became Muslims earlier because they were in the cities and in contact with Muslims. Clergymen and farmers in the villages remained Zoroastrians because they had no contact with Muslims. With the attack of the Turks and their slaughter, the ratio of Zoroastrians and Muslims was almost equal. In the west of Iran, mostly Shafi'i and in the east mostly Hanafi, and still a minority in the cities, both Christian and Jewish. At the time of the Mongol invasion, because they massacred many cities, and because they removed strict laws against Zoroastrians, the ratio of Muslims to non-Muslims decreased. In the period after the Mongols until Shah Abbas I, this relationship was maintained: One is because the killing continued in the cities, especially in Khorasan. And secondly, many Turks went to Samarkand and Herat, the Timurid capitals, as well as to Anatolia and the Levant to fight against the Ottomans and Mamluks. Until a thousand years after the Arab invasion (the time of Shah Abbas I), which occurred due to the harshness of the second round of Zoroastrian migration to India. From this time until now, the Christians of Iran were mostly Armenians, not Assyrians. Those Zoroastrians, Christians and Jews who survived, gradually became Shiites and this process continued until the time of Naser al-Din Shah in the late 19th century.

Aghoris don't kill. You can't call it a ritualistic cannibalism but scavenging.
There are 2 forms of Tantra or, Indian Voodoo. One is Female, another Male.
It's concept is very deep, method very harsh but not barbaric or, brutal to other lives, doesn't cause pain to others, doesn't let innocent bloodshed......just conquring ownself and going beyond to merge with the supreme male force.
Thanks for reading till end.... I hope I could make you understand now.

Same situation with European pagans and Christianity really.
Then Islam comes and pretty much wipes out most of the Romans but totally obliterates the Persians and Zoroastrianism pretty much dies with the empire of Persia
the persians and romans were also weakened from the bubonic plague

One of the most tragic moments in history. @ Yeah no. Probably a lot of forced conversions.

You haven’t read history. They were allowed to worship freely just as how Muslims let Christians and Jews worship freely.
@ After the Muslim conquest of Persia, Zoroastrians were given dhimmi status and subjected to persecutions; discrimination and harassment began in the form of sparse *violence.*[11] Those paying Jizya were subjected to insults and humiliation by the tax collectors.[12][13][14] Zoroastrians who were captured as slaves in wars were given their freedom if they converted to Islam.[12]
Many fire temples, with their four axial arch openings, were usually turned into mosques simply by setting a mihrab (prayer niche) on the place of the arch nearest to qibla (the direction of Mecca). Zoroastrian temples converted into mosques in such a manner could be found in Bukhara, as well as in and near Istakhr and other Persian cities.[15][full citation needed] Urban areas where Arab governors made their quarters were most vulnerable to such religious persecution, great fire temples were turned into mosques, and the citizens were forced to conform or flee.[16] Many libraries were burnt and much cultural heritage was lost.[17]
*Gradually there were increased number of laws regulating Zoroastrian behavior, limiting their ability to participate in society, and made life difficult for the Zoroastrians in the hope that they would convert to Islam.*[17] Over time, persecution of Zoroastrians became more common and widespread, and the number of believers decreased significantly. According to Arnold, for the Persian, he would meet Ahura Mazda and Ahriman under the names of Allah and Iblis.[18]
Once a Zoroastrian family converted to Islam, the children had to go to Muslim religion school and learn Arabic and the teachings of the Quran and these children lost their Zoroastrian identity.[12] These factors continued to contribute to increasing rates of conversion from Zoroastrianism to Islam.[19] A Persian scholar commented, "*Why so many had to die or suffer? Because one side was determined to impose his religion upon the other who could not understand*.

@@noahtylerpritchett2682 True. The most Monotheistic aspect of the religion actually come from the Gathas which are agreed to be the only part of the Avesta (the Zoroastrian holy scripture) to have been of Zoroaster's authorship. It's possible that Zoroaster may have promoted an idea similar to that of Tawheed, but his teachings were then corrupted after his passing. This is especially possible as he transmitted his teachings through oral tradition and not through writing.
So you do admit that they were forced to convert to Islam
I ❤ my ancestoral religion. My family comes from this religion in Kerman. One of my recent ancestors was a priest in this religion. 😁😁😁

Technically, Zoroastrianism was founded during the Bronze Age, but it made sense you put the beginning of the video in the mid Iron Age, as that's basically the first period in we which have any which area it covered at the time.
And we don't even know when exactly during the Bronze Age it began, too (estimates range from 1000 BCE to as early as 1800 BCE)
Historians are skeptical of Achaemenid and Parthians being a Zoroastrian. Even the existence of a person named Zoroaster is in doubt

Balkan Anarchist? It does exist?
I mean, I'm from the Balkans, live there, born there, and I've been anarchist for about a year or two, so yeah. And I've found out some about half a year ago that there used to be near-yearly Balkan Anarchist bookfares held, held in a different place each time, which means that, while I didn't know it at the time, we are large enough in number for events like that to be organized on a semi-regular basis
Hope the Iranians have a revival of Zoroastrianism, without it Iran just isn't Iran.
Under the rule of an authoritarian Islamic theocracy, that will never happen. In Iran it is illegal to convert from Islam to another religion, and is often punished by death. Even speaking against Islam is illegal. Islam is too far ingrained into the people and culture that it would be impossible for Zoroastrianism to have a resurgence.
Chinmay That’s where you’re wrong, i have persian friends and they can confirm that the people are largely unhappy with the government and lost faith in Islam, if a great enough uprising starts Iran might finally get rid of it’s backwards theocracy.

Wait what there are still pyro-worshippers? Wow, and apparently most of them are now in India, cool.
Well try to remember them as long as possible as this religion is in decline. After the rise of Islam Zoroastrianism will never reach the same numbers it once had and will go extinct 😥.

They don’t call it the religion of peace for nothing!
@حج but bringing down other religions violently?
Ok
@حج the definition of slow conversion in Islam is forcing terror onto their lands or convert to Islam? Such as what they did in Iberia and Anatolia forcing their enemies to be part of their Islamic state and convert or burn there cities to the ground just like Iberia. Your English is really good!
@حج did the ussr wipe out ALL Christians, or the romans or the Chinese? Obviously not. Wiping out the good majority they mostly did. And as such the brutal caliphate did wipe out most Christian’s in the Arabian peninsula.
@حج if by freedom of religion you mean sharia?
I hope the zorastrian religion becomes the fastest growing faith in the world.

Wonderful video
Thank you
Wonderful? It has many historical mistakes. Historians are skeptical of Achaemenid and Parthians being a Zoroastrian. Even the existence of a person named Zoroaster is in doubt
a small community of Armenian Zoroastrians survived up till 1914 in anotolia , they had maintained the religion after Armenia became christian . Sadly they were murdered by the turks in the Armenian genocide .
My own explanation is that since ancient times there were three groups of Iranians, the first two of which were mostly in the villages:
Farmers
Clergymen
army men
During the Sassanid period, two groups were added to these, which were mostly in the cities:
Bureaucrats
Craftsmen
During the two centuries of Arab rule and two centuries of Iranian Muslim rule, most of Iran's people remained Zoroastrians, and the minority in the cities were Assyrian Christians and Jews.
In the period after the Mongols until Shah Abbas I, this relationship was maintained:
One is because the killing continued in the cities, especially in Khorasan.
Very good interpretation, but can tell me what do you use for making it..
it's very sad how such a great religion ended !

there s no greater from worshipin one god who created this world and to him we ll go

there is no greater from worshipin no god but instead science and to it we will go to evolve as societies.
