Yes...I already know that I have no life reviewing 30 pairs of Levi's jeans. But let me know which fit is your favorite? Follow me on IG: instagram.com/mensfashionfiles
AMAZING GUIDE! I was a long-time wearer of the 501s, going back many, many years. I decided I needed to replace the 501s and at the advice of the folks at the Levis store at the Jersey Shore Outlets, I reluctantly tried on these jeans, anticipating that they would be too tight for me (6'2", 205 lbs). To my pleasant surprise, they fit better than the 501s which now seem so baggy. Thanks to the people at the Levis store, I got the right fit and 2 new pairs of 511s!
I have also watched your last year guide on levi's jeans and love it, and this video is even more informational and well structured. No doubt the best Levi's Jeans guide, gonna share this with my friends and family.
This is the best Levi's video I've ever seen. Currently, I have 501's, 505's, 514's, 516's (I know these weren't covered but they are similar to some others) and 559's, and your explanations, especially which to size up for, of the fits are very accurate and informative, keep up the great work!!
@@MensFashionFiles I'm not sure about in other places around the world but in Australia they are still sold. Regardless, they are so similar to 505s that your advice for the 505s is applicable if anyone is looking for a pair :)
Well done, really appreciate this comprehensive review you hs very produced. Think I'll try out the 541 taper and 550. Been wearing the 514's and they never felt right. 🤝
So crazy that Levi's decide to make their premium jeans fit different than the non premium version, makes absolutely no sense to me . This video is a lifesaver!
Great video! I just bought 4 pairs of 502 taper yesterday and would have bought wrong type without this video drop at the right time. First time buying in 10-15 years
This is my favorite thing about your channel and I hope you can cover more things like Levi’s LVC (higher quality and better details), and more denim jackets cause I think a Levi’s type 2 would be nice to see
Thanks so much! You’d think that Levi’s would’ve figured out that if someone needs to make a video explaining all their fits, then they need to rethink a few things. Like Macintosh computers before Steve Jobs returned. He simplified an incredibly confusing line. My last pair of Levi’s old Red Tag bit the dust. 😢 It was a great lineup for just a little more.
Love the 501s. Last a minimum of 3 years. I still have a pair from 2018. Go shopping, cook outdoors/indoors, lounge, fix and do household jobs, yard work, look under the car, go to job sites, tools in hand, take my girl out, walk the dog. When they get old, they look better. Tough as nails.
This dude really went all out with his time and cash to show us all these denim styles. Props to him. But man, Levi’s totally went nuts with the crazy number of cuts that are pretty much the same. They made thirty different cuts with only a one or two-millimeter difference between them, which all gets canceled out in the real world by imprecise production across 100 different factories worldwide. You need a ruler to see if they're a tad wider or narrower. They should’ve just kept it simple with three fits: skinny, regular and loose-which I’m all about. I need jeans where I can squat and actually do stuff. Jeans that you can barely pull over your feet and can only stand in, not sit comfy all day at work, are a no-go for me.
NEED HELP! Can someone suggest an all-black LEVI's or Hollister jeans for me, please? I am a mid to big fit on the hip, a regular thigh and a slight bigger calves with a slim ankle. I am 5'6" and like to wear my jeans below my waist(below the belly), and need something that has a high rise on the back(hip side) so the jeans doesn't slide down too much when I sit. My usual JEANS measurements: Back hip-crouch - 13” Front raise - 10.5” Hip - 41.5” Thigh - 23.5 to 24” Leg Opening - 14” 1/2 In-seem length - 28.5 to 29”
I got a 514, earlier, and the fit through the calves and thighs was comfortable, but the leg opening was a bit too wide(could have been a 7.5-ish, instead of an 8-inch opening). But the hip was where the issue is. Its an okay(fitted/hugging) at the widest part of the hip, but when I sit on a chair, it slides down significantly at the back(a bit too much, to be honest).
I own 17 pairs of Levi's consisting of 501, 501 '54, 505, 551Z and still would look at whats new in-store and online, and I keep on telling myself "You have more than enough" whenever I get the urge to buy more. The same goes for shoes and tees as well. I think I will be checking myself in an AAA group. *AAA - Apparel Addiction Anonymous.

Appreciate it man! Are the 516s discontinued.? I haven't seen it on the website.

Commenting because he asked nicely, but also respect for the thorough detail

Me looking for a review on the 531 cut and this video not having it 😅
Hope you can review those in the future!

Coming from his other videos...
Another Great Guide 👍🏼
appreciate it!
Wow, that's great 👍 information about levis jeans 👖 👏. Thanks, I like your stuff ❤
Liked your wrangler video, try the 5 star and rugged wear some time. For Levi's I'd say 569 and 559
What jeans would fit over crocs? Bootcut or is that too much?

Bro ! Which one would you say its better the 501 ‘54 or the 555 ??
Can you recommend me a fit that has a mid rise i like the 502 taper but the rise is too low apart from that its perfect
Anyone have recommendations for good denim brands besides Levi's?
Wrangler cowboy cuts are better than Levi's
wrangler broken twill

What color is the first 501 premium?
Color is called "One Wash". All jeans are tagged in the video

Try the 541 or 502. It has a similar fit from the knee up like the 514 but slimmer leg opening.

Bruh they all look the same embarrassing for the biggest most celebrated denim brand in the world
