I don’t think it will be due to the fact that it relies on the 240fps of the iPhone and that feature isn’t necessarily available on all android devices from what I understand
Hey thanks for your question. Unfortunately you will need someone to move the camera for you. Otherwise the parallel angle will be affected if you move the camera back. You maybe could do it but you would have to redo your calculations to place the 5,10,20,25,30m posts 👍
Hi there, not sure if you're still interested, but I've found research where this may be possible. Set up your phone 16 meters away, and use the "0.5" Zoom function on your iPhone (Haven't tried this specifically with the MySprint app yet though). Set up your gates accordingly: 0.94 m (0 m) 5.63 m (5 m) 10.31 m (10 m) 15 m (15 m) 19.69 m (20 m) 24.38 m (25 m) 29.06 m (30 m)
I don't understand how the maximal velocity is calculated. I divided the 5-meter time intervals into 5. the result was not the same as Vmax. How to calculate the Vmax value, what is the procedure?
My app doesn't have the "analysis" options in app. After doing the frames, when I tap, it says "error, any time is not set" any idea how to help me out??
Like your video. How ever I just saw an error. In the description in App Store it say you should put the poles like this: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 meters (not the 25 meter mark). If you put a pole on each 5 meter mark it is wrong.
@@Upsidestrength Thanks for your reply! Just one extra question, how many poles do I actually need to put? 6 poles or 12 poles? If so, at which point do I need to put the poles ? A line where is close to the ipad? or the other one? I checked the instructions of mysprint app but it's highly confused as the instruction mentions about the parallax effect (12 points) but they also say only 6 markers are needed.
@@Upsidestrength I can find the video files, however when I try to upload it tells me there is a 'File Error' and to 'Select a video'. Have you had similar issues?
Do you know when is going to available for Android?

Why it should be the mid hip to record it should be the first body part to cross?
That way you can get a consistent measurement standard across the whole test.
Where are those poles you are using from?
Can a sprinter use this app alone (by setting up the camera further back so the sprinter is always in frame) or do you need a partner?
Thanks

Hello, the videos I recorded, either in app or camera are not appearing in the album category. I just see a blank screen. Any suggestions,
You need to how down more and you find it. But definitely e-mail the app creators so they fix it I had the same issue

Not sure but I think their system is openly accessible through the app 👍

Message the developers - unfortunately his is out of my wheelhouse!
Hi, can I analyze 10m sprints? or does the application work only on 30mt?
You can yes

what is the distance between each poste?
It's outlined exactly in the application when you do the setup
Where can i download it
Anywhere
Can I use the same pole (or cones) to reference points (i.e. to 0.57m of 5 & 25 m...) ?
Thanks in advance!
I think so!

Hi coach. Can I get measure maximal velocity this app.
Yes I measured it as well 👍
@@Upsidestrength Thank you so much Coach🙏
You didn’t explain how many meters distance between each post ect ?
It’s all explained in the app 👍👌
android?which is best for sprint?200m or 100m
need instantaneous speed to ajust
Shorter :)
I am having difficulty uploading a pre-recorded 40m into the App to analyse from my iPad/iPhone. Any guidance as it doesn't seem to let me do this?
You should be able to find it in one of the camera catégories. It’s a little confusing some times
