Grumbacher started making sketchbooks with in and out pages check em out you can pull the pages out and put them in again. So you can combine different types of paper in each sketchbook for different mediums. Love your videos :3

I always draw in my sketchbook. It sometimes annoys me when people just draw on separate papers, I don't know I just like that I can say, "all my work is right here."
I’m a beginner artist I literally only draw people BECAUSE I FRICKEN CAN’T DRAW ANYTHING ELSE and my people aren’t even that good

This was how I felt a year or two ago when I started drawing again. Granted I never really achieved realism so mainly I draw anime characters I like or find visually interesting.

I've been watching a lot of wholesome youtubers lately (RUclips recommends them) and you are in the top three. I don't comment much but I'm always looking forward to your videos. You got me back into learning art again (specifically digital and traditional painting).
I actually bought me last year a bunch of sketchbooks, a new set of brushes and some acrylics and now every evening after a long day of work I’m just sitting on the ground and paint something. Nothing really special or beautiful but just sitting and splashing some colors on the paper help me relaxing (and staying sane with all these things happening right plus my awful job). I’m not even good, but it’s so good to let out all of the creativity.
All I want to is: JUST START BEING CREATIVE.
Don’t think about!
Your ideas will come.
The more you will do it the better you get.
But you you need to start!

This type of videos allways motivate me to go and draw something, especially when I get lazy. I don't know, I just don't whatch anymore super well done drawings because they make me feel not good enough and descourage me. I prefer to whatch this, sketching, exercises, just casual stuff, not trying so hard, it's making me confortable to accept the process easier and the skill level where I am. Thanks rae, you are great!!! Love your content 🤗

My sketchbooks for the past two or so years have been filled with nothing but gel pen mini illustrations. I found a love/addiction for gel pens I have HUNDREDS of types and just about every colour under the sun! The amount of people who are shocked 97% of my art from the past few years is in nothing but gel pen is insane.
what I love about sketchbooks is that you get to keep all of your artwork in one place, you don't have to worry about finding your old art and losing it. you also don't have to worry if it looks terrible and sketchy cuz it´s supposed to be used that way^^
I’m trying to become a RUclips artist, I think this is gonna be a good way to keep me motivated. New Year New Me!😁

That is exactly what sketchbooks are. They are a visual notebook. Leave your perfecting to your final pieces, your sketchbook should show you working towards those final pieces. 😊

Well Rae, I wish you much luck with keeping your new habit of keeping a sketchbook! I have not kept one since college, yeah 1980 anyone? I was given a new sketchbook last year but it just did not happen, what with well EVERYTHING! I know it is never to late to start one so I look forward to watching your video progress! I am just going to keep ripping out pages as I need them for my ideas and moving them to a final surface. Congratulations on the new spaces we are looking forward to seeing you show them off!
