When I hear them speak on why those didn't make it, I can tell the judges are actually passionate about why not. Some will just say "Thank ya, we'll call you". We all know what that means even for a regular job. As a model management director, this is the most awesome thing I've seen to date.
There is a realist in the room... " The whole point of this industry, this job, is to get jobs from the clients. I mean, everyone can like me. But if clients don't like me, then what's the point? "
feels so so sad for noel because he's the most improved one and he did so well in the previous assessment. nevertheless, hope he is doing well now and never gives up on his career. congratz to all graduates!
congrats to the trainees that managed to debut as professional models! happy for you guys! for the rest that were dropped, y'all are so young with such great potential and have so much room to grow 🥰🥰 at 15 i was still watching taiwan dramas at home lol. keep fighting for your dreams and i wish you guys all the best :) great job basic studio for producing such an interesting series that gives us an insight into this industry! here's a thumbs up for your hard work haha (& kaci is super cute can we please see more of her
@@Abereality lmao u prob can't accept the fact that working world is like that 🤣 she's strict now so that the models can survive after they debut, if she didn't care then she would just debut all. You are so naive. The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows, you either be strong and survive or u die being weak.
@@michellelin8525 if you think gossiping about your subordinates instead of speaking about them objectively is what makes a good boss, then you're part of the problem in a toxic workplace, michelle. :) but of course, you don't care because you lack the EQ to be discerning on what's good communication. either way, good luck in life sis, your failings in life are really none of my business haha. goodbye
I think everyone is missing the point. We are not criticizing Bonita's "straightforwardness" in commenting about their modeling techniques, I'm sure many appreciate honest feedback. But the fact is throughout the series, she has consistently ignored her subordinates' comments, attempted to override them, and it doesn't take a genius to notice the difference in how the mentors interact when she's present. Even here, Kaci (without missing a beat) said she recalled Bonita scolding her, and then struggled to recall anything else. Does that give an impression of an ok workplace? These kids commenting here are either too young to be aware of workplace EQ, or perhaps too used to the toxic behaviour that is so prevalent in SG SMEs.
Very informative series throughout. But for this episode, one part needs working on - the audio for two booker talking to themselves scene - suddenly Elise's voice become very clear (07:15 which is correct). #justpointingout
Not rly, modelling is not just about looks, if not there will be so many models lol. It's looks 25%, the rest is attitude, effort, knowledge/training/experience and ofc confidence
Thank you for this series and congrats to the new models!! this was really great and i enjoyed seeing the process in your agency :) this series really helped me in my current process of finding out what i want to work as and it inspired me to really go for it haha i've been sending out tons of application documents to model agencies and art institutes to get an apprenticeship..due to corona i haven't gotten one yet but i'm working on it so yeah thanks for motivating me :)
Not sure if it's just me or are some of the links in the description, broken? I keep getting "Sorry this page isn't available". Anyway, it was a good ending to the series, looking forward to more in the future!
Despite the constant and heavy emphasis on attitude throughout the series, Bonita never truly showed us that she herself was capable of having that good attitude until this episode. Cut-throat and harshness of the industry? Sure, but why was other Model Mentors able to articulate their points and still be so much likeable? The whole series would have been better off with the just the four Model Mentors appearing/hosting.
“Be nice” she said. Maybe you can phrase your comments in a more constructive way so that your models can learn better? Don’t bring them down, grow them. If you can’t achieve that, you probably won’t produce great models either
Why no one come in Nepal for auditioning here are also talented people who are willing to be model. I am always waiting for foreigner to come in Nepal for auditioning.
covid is still ongoing and borders are closed for tourism or other reasons, they wont go overseas to cast people. besides, this is a model agency based in Singapore.from what I know, they cast people from overseas through online: e.g. holding a social media contest using their hashtag and they will view your profile to cast you if ur potential is there
bruh the boss is so done with her job... might as well don’t do anymore? give the title to someone who’s more worthy, honestly give 0 Fs about who founded the company

Hanif face is so unique. Woild really love to see more brown skin tone appreciation especially in Asia..
Congrats to those who debuted!! Happy Mother's Day to Bonita too!! Hope that this series will come back soon again!!

IDK why people don't like Bonita. She's very straightforward and realistic as a boss. I like that she doesn't sugarcoat things. Bonita 加油💪 💪 💪
Well michelle, it's cause you'd probably be the same type of manager without any EQ and people skills. haha.

Learned a lot from this series & lovin’ the vibes of Basic Models ✨🥰 Is there an open casting/ social media contest this year as usual? Thank you✨
Our Open Casting Call will be in November.
@@alexloganlee and the update about the social media contest would be posted on Instagram right? Thank you for your reply! 🥰✨

Some models not as good looking as ordinary people on the street. But still can be models. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

MOdel life not easy
bonita needs to change her hairstyle..maybe a shoulder-length haircut..this current hair style ages her like 20 years
She's a new mother, I think it's definitely easier to keep a length where she can tie her hair easily
or short hair where the hair will dry faster when she washes it
I sign up basic model website.I still didn’t receive they reply on their website
