Very cool, but I have to wonder what the efficacy or air-to-air missiles would be against that thing. I'm envisioning it being able to soak up multiple missiles without significant structural damage.
Originally it was supposed to have 24 fighter jets on its wings like missiles. Oh and it was going to have 4 or 5 docking stations on the back of the wings so that C-5 and C-17s that would be able to take troops to land and take out land targets/airfields. It was going to be nuclear powered above 16k feet and was supposed to be able to take off on short runways with the help of additional jet turbines on the nose and belly.
Imagine being one of those NK pilots. You've been tasked on a mission of destroying an unknown American plane flying off the coast of South Korea, you fly in a formation of 15+ jets in a plane you've been told will single handedly be more than a match for any flight of American Jets. 0:43 340m wingspan! For comparison, the twin-fuselage behemoth Scaled Composites Stratolaunch (Roc) has a wingspan of only 117m. Less than half.

The part where all of the Mig-29s got shot down kinda reminded me of those ww2 movies where an entire formation of B-17s gets shot down by flak
