Pull all aerator’s off first… you’ll thank me!
What the heck is aerator ?
If we’re turning a 1/4 turn valve 1/4 of the way, we’re kinda turning the valve 1/16 of a full turn
Completely unnessisary, turn valve on, go round gently turning taps on in turn, hold a cloth over top of tap spout, to keep any spluttering in the sink
Well and go slow and take out aerator also turn on tub
You can actually blow crap especially working on galvanized hard water sediment into the faucets and have zero pressure if u don't practice this technique
My technique I'm a real plumber not sure about rat boy
@@JUNEBUGLLC funny how all the "real" plumbers I've met have felt the need to tell everyone the're real plumbers
@@JUNEBUGLLC nope, if the taps are fully closed, the air in the pipes stops the water from rushing through and picking up the sediment, then the flow is gently allowed to flow through as each tap is opened
Use the tub up stairs to get most the air out then turn on other stuff after top tub stops with air. Your aerator’s can stop up with trash easily the other way
I turn on the main valve leaving everything off. This endures you know if there is a major leak by hearing the water flow. Then turn on faucets slowly.
Thank you!
❤❤ thank you!
Thank you ❣️
Run the hot on your tub. This way, if there is debris in line, it runs through the water heater. Then, open a hose bibb in the backyard. Then, purge the rest of the system. Toilets last.
No dont do this please. You want to leave them off so you test it with pressure. Youll be able to hear water stop running telling you no leaks but if it keeps running while taps are off you have a leak and you shut it off
Thank you for this. I just turned on my main water valve following your steps and worked great. 🙏🏽
Run tub hot and cold, no aerators
This is entirely incorrect
If he sticks with it I can’t wait for him to try out extreme behemoth 😂
Is air bad for the system?
😂tryna break sombody pocket
I do that... and I leave on the outside , last to turn off....never had an issue with glucked faucets
Dont forget remove airrator
MY WATER SYSTEM IS RUN THRU THE WINDOW. NO BUDGETT HOME REPAIR
What do you do if you only have a single lever for hot and cold
Leave it off. This is stupid clickbait. Plumber of 40 years here
Wow.... No dont do this. If you arw in the basement you qont hear the house pressurize if you have a leak. I love teolingbthese guys but actually thisnone is a really dumb video
Lol. Hot water lines are separate and come from the hot water heater. Thats pointless. Also turn on a bath tub. It doesnt have a screen (aerator). If your water was off it was for a repair and sometimes theres dirt/debris in there.
Bathtubs generally don’t have an aeration system. Try plumbing 101. Jfc
It's a WATER HEATER, not a hot water heater. You don't need a heater if the water's already hot. But a righteous plumber would know that.
I think you should get a actor to voice for you .....creepy
They are useless and that twin stuff saying the same thing at the same time is ridiculous.
