When you have a patio surrounding the downspout making it impossible to have the catch basin that close, do you just put the catch basin in the grass as close to the patio as possible?

This is a downspout drain, not a French drain. The pipe is solid; it's not perforated.

What’s the major difference between 3” plus solid vs. 3” high octane solid - or why would a homeowner go with one vs. the other? Thanks in advance

If you are going to drive a car over the system, High Octane is extra heavy-duty pipes. The Pro 3" is the same amount of virgin HDPE but bigger in diameter as a Heavy Duty Pipe.
