It really works! Low carb and intermittent fasting. I'm doing this for six weeks now and I lost 19 pounds (9.5 KG). You also feel mentally much better, more energy. I wish I found this way of losing weight earlier!

I'm still losing weight, and I need just ½ tablet per day for my bloodpressure, gradually, because you can't quit at once. Instead of 2 whole tablets per day! But again, I love the way I feel mentally!! In the last 20 years I felt very down and tired, that feeling is gone! Excuse me for my English, I'm from The Netherlands :)
This gives me courage to talk to my doctor. I also have PTSD and have had cancer. I have asked for a nutritionist but with many other doctors on my referrals and weekly appointments, I don't think she wants to hear I need another referral. I don't eat and still gain weight. I'm going to speak up and demand help. This story gives me hope.
I had no idea they’d make this a RUclips thing, I lost more, from 342 to a 188 pound body. This was with the lap-band & gym time. My big belly hid 3 tumors on my liver & a baseball sized tumor in my colon! It creeped up again as I followed my doctors plan to eat, since my blood tests came back horribly. I decided to go to “Intermittent fasting” went from 255 to 230, still wasn’t satisfied. I went to a “WHOLE FOOD PLANT LIFESTYLE”. Now it’s at 178 & dropping gradually. I look at my legs & see the skinny me. So a few days I wake & have to force myself to eat, my cholesterol is now 150, down from 285-290. I look forward to the next challenge & it’s small, to lose 16 pounds by later in June to the latter July time from. I do 300 crunches a day, stomach smaller, skin is starting to “droop”(hang on my belly). I took a 9000 crunch challenge & next week It’ll be complete, but no stopping after next Friday
I've fought this exact same struggle for 30 years. I'm plateaued right now. Hearing this story gives me hope. I see he began intermittent fasting to lose the last 50 pounds. I too lost my 47 year old sister a year ago to disease. I'm eating right and exercising but I'm stuck.
Veganism helped me. I was gradually gaining weight the older I got, even though, I was watching what I ate and exercising daily. When I went vegan, I was finally able to lose weight and maintain it without the daily worry that I would pack on the pounds, again. Being vegan is such a blessing! Delicious food and recipes without the worry. I have even encouraged family members to eat a vegan meal at least once a day. They have noticed the difference, as well, and say how delicious the meals are. Sometimes, they can't even tell they are eating vegan.

Diets only work for short term weight loss for most people. You need to find a lifestyle that will work for you every day. For me, that has been low fat whole food plant based nutrition - no calorie counting whatsoever, and lots of complex carbs (whole wheat pasta, bread, lots of potatoes, lentils, bulgur etc. - come on, you can't live without carbs!) I make these lovely sweet oatmeal cookies and other cakes (sweetened with ripe bananas) every week and still continue to lose weight.... loving this.

this is amazing and the whole food diet really works. i found myself too busy to workout some days which i used as a crutch to still eat what i wanted, thinking i might be able to lose weight. ever since i changed my diet to raw foods only and fish im acually losing weight even though im not consistently working out. and eating less and healthier can reverse age
Roasted nuts are still healthy, if not healthier in many cases. Just stay away from salted or sweetened...and always buy from the bulk section. The ones in cans usually have additives. And dried fruits like craisins. I add nuts to my cereal or oatmeal and in my smoothies and before I go to bed, on my ice cream 😁
Simon Sozzi Exactly I love adding raw pumpkin seeds, ground chia seed, ground flax seeds, and/or raw pecans with lots of fresh berries ... it is a really tasty and filling breakfast and berries are a low glycemic if that is important to you

If you don’t have any motivation, no matter how mean this sounds, shame yourself into not eating. Also, try to reduce your stomach size (eat six small meals instead of three large meals).

Many of us are getting too close to the obese category, and loss of height as we age contributes to the (BMI) math lol. Ironically, most of my (female) doctors have been much larger than me, so they haven't brought it up.
You don't have to cut carbs, just calorie count and exercise and you'll be fine. 🙄 I eat homemade pancakes every morning and am still losing weight using my fitness pal (calorie counting).
I would never want to remove such an important macronutrient almost entirely from my diet... carbs are brain food and the preferred fuel for all cells. He literally said "no fun"... ridiculous.
My fitness pal is a great app I didn’t even restrict certain foods so much as just choose generally healthier lower calorie options. I still managed to lose almost all the weight after both of my pregnancies with it. 😁

I do fasting as well 20 hours fasting 4 hours eating window, as well as low carbs modified Keto 22kg down in 3 months

start out with 6 hours and check ur bs more often, then 10 or 12, then go from there. Also ask ur dr about beingbon a sliding scale insulin regemen.
