Hi Megyn. I dint know if you will read this but i went through the same thing with my dad. We didnt have a close relationship He was a man of those times. Didnt show feelings. The first time he told me he loved me was 5 minutes before he died. In 1972. I was so angry i walked out of the room and left him Took me till recently to realise he did love me. But i have to live with what i did every day. Im learning to not be hard on myself.
I got ready eyes listening to her middle school years. She told it so well o FELT and related to her pain. I lost my mom in late 40’s and it was traumatic I couldn’t imagine how painful and what a challenge it would be for someone in their teens.
Excellent interview! I started my radio career in the early 80s and retired from news a couple of years ago, partly because of the cyberbullying, misogynistic comments, threats, and fear. It's ridiculous how people will form a pack just to bully people they don't personally know - especially when all they know about their target is what they've seen on social media, opinions of biased people, their own biases, etc. I miss news tremendously, but damn it's changed so much since the 80s! Social media and the internet have played roles in diminishing the joy of such an amazing career. Then there are the REAL fake news sources - those talking heads who openly display their biases and don't follow Journalism 101 rules: provide the who, what, where, when, why, and how...and leave your opinion out of it!
An amazing interview...thank you! I loved you on fox news..and still miss you! As far as your dad goes..I can completely relate..I was 17 when my dad died from a work accident! The night before he wouldn't let me go out..and I was do angry I told him I hated him...I never saw him again to say I was sorry..it still follows me in my heart..and I am 59! I also get it when you talk about your mom..my mom was the strongest person I have ever known..my dad was 41..she was 37..when he died..they had 7 children..my mom never worked a day in her life..my oldest brother was in the marines..the other 6 still at home..and my dad was working a side job because he was on strike from the steel mill he worked at for 22 1/2 years..he needed to be there 25 to get his pension! My mom rose to the occasion and showed us..and herself..what she was truly made of!!! Just an amazing women!
Teenage girls treated her worse than the men in Fox News. She stood up for women that maybe wouldn't have done the same for her. But still she did the right thing.
stronger than me. i did not come out of it strong. God bless 💔 precious woman and all who went through this. i had no idea she was a victim. here i am falling asleep to this which came on accidentally and made me sit up. unbelievable.
Now here is a book I will purchase. I like Meagan, but was very upset when she started the debate with the famous "gotcha" question. I know Trump is by no means an Angel, but that was unfair. I like both of them, and perhaps he too is a bit ashamed of his response. I hope so.
Amazing, beautiful woman! Makes me want to be stronger, better, more devoted to anything i do. Looking at her inspires me to start hitting the gym again. I had no idea that she was so extraordinary or that she had endured such hardship due to her devotion to hard hitting journalism
The prostitution trade in the United States is estimated to generate $14 billion a year. A 2012 report by Fondation Scelles indicated that there were an estimated 1 million prostitutes in the U.S.
She got her book deal out of pretending mean people were bullying James Alefantis. "Settle for more"...on the cover she is depicted as a determined business woman, setting the rules and owning the room. "Settle for more." She doesn't determine her own life though, and has zero control over it. Because she was told "You protect Alefantis and you do it now." Her reply? "Yes sir." So don't you dare announce to me that you are "settling for more."
How so? I'm curious because interview strategies change. The subject matter is the foundation of this interview. I'm not sure why you think an interview like this is wrong. This is for her to promote her memoir. How else would you conduct an interview?

Megyn reminds me alot of my ex that got away. Meg, we'll meet one day, and after that, as you're leaving Doug, we will do insanely nasty things in a hotel room somewhere. Omg what a timeline
let's get one thing straight I make too much money to ever smoke crack and I have way too much self-respect to ever have a sexual relationship with Trump
There’s something about Megyn Kelly. I’m fascinated by her story and personality. I’m going to reread her book in January.
Megyn is an extraordinaire. I love you, Megyn. A great interview. Thank you so much for sharing it here.

Truly enjoyed this. Definitely have more respect for this woman and kudos to her for being so open and honest!
God Bless you Meaghan. YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL.

I like Megyn, because in a lot of ways I am just like her, a sole warrior
Time for me to work on my shell. Thank you Megyn for your brutal honesty and courage.

don’t like that she’s wearing a sexy dress on book cover
The soul comes out in her rotten face.

Your doctor prescribed those anti-psychotic drugs to you for a reason. I suggest you take them as directed.🙏
I am going to title my book, "Aspire to Mediocrity". I think it will appeal to more people. Megan Kelly is too optimistic.
when one suffers from depression, one does not want to settle for anything.
Men use power to get sex and women use sex to get power. Why we are shaming only one gender? What about equality??
She's just lovely. My female inspiration!
