    Can you make a video about how to brush another person's teeth? I work in caregiving and I would love to share a video with our teams how to brush and floss teeth for those who can't independently do that oral care themselves.

      this is a great video idea! definitely adding to my list! thank you for this suggestion! and I hope my video will help! I'll definitely include using a triple bristle toothbrush or any type of 3-sided toothbrush -- it helps SO much!

    I went today for my 4 month deep clean and this video was well timed! Lol. I am 25, and facing 3 implants soon, and your videos have been sacrosanct in helping me get over my dental anxiety and recently even eased my worries of my wisdom teeth extraction which happened a month ago. Thank you for your continued education and encouragement to help me want to preserve and get my oral hygiene back on track. I had very bad experiences as a kid with dentists and hadn't been to a dentist in 5+ years, but I am happy to say I am prioritizing my teeth and working towards a brighter and healthier mouth!

    My dental hygienist uses the baking soda blaster! 😂 Don’t quote me on the name of it! Much more gentle than the scraping things in my opinion.

    Aren't those water/sonic scalers hard on the gums? I've seen that even brushing too hard can make the gums recede. How can that powerful sonic water spray not make gums recede? It seems that they would also drive bacteria deep into the gum tissue and under the gums which may cause infection. I do not allow them to use that on me anymore after trouble with extreme sore gums after.

    • @TeethTalk
      @TeethTalk  5 месяцев назад

      it's the opposite :) not removing the bacteria will allow it to spread further into the gums. here's a few of my videos that explain -- ruclips.net/video/LbELWANMu7g/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/j4wX3B0SRGM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/LosFg7lUIPs/видео.htmlsi=xyvj5cTSzEJPpNGf

    These heavy calculus/tartar cleanings are the best! Just watching the act of scaling teeth, and polishing them; watching a set of teeth go from yellow/brown to near brilliant white in a matter of 30-45 minutes is awesome! The sensation of a professional dental cleaning itself is one to cherish, though some would say the contrary due to phobias or worry over what their dentist/hygienist would discover once in their mouths.
    Great footage and sounds! Loved the before/after shots. 🦷🪥

    Can you do a video on inlays and onlays and the differences on materials used and why it matters?
    Recently a dentist found a cavity and wanted to do an Onlay but wanted to do porcelain which cost almost $1k… interestingly enough, I have insurance that covers onlays but not that material…

    hey! i need your advice. i am only 16 years old and i have been struggling with my tooth(it's a tooth in the edge, in the end of my mouth) for like a year, first i had a cavity, there was a really small hole in my tooth, and i went to the dentist and she did a dental filling or smth. she put it in my tooth and she said that it would last for a long time. but then after a few weeks the thing in my tooth fell off and i had a hole in my tooth again. when it fell i was supposed to visit the dentist but i did not. i stayed with that black hole in my tooth for almost a year and over the time the hole got bigger. so it seemed like the half of my tooth was almost gone. then i finally went to the dentist again and she said that i may lose my tooth, but she will try her best in order to save it, so she cleaned the tooth for 3 days. and then she did a dental filling again and said that the tooth will fall after like 3 months and said that she had to put an artificial tooth) so she did the dental filling and told me to come back so that she could put the artificial tooth. then after a few days, when i was chewing gum my tooth fell off. and i immediately went to the dentist again and she said that now the rest of my tooth was gone she couldn't put the artificial tooth because she had to remove two of my teeth in order to put the artificial tooth. and she told me to come back after like a year... but now i regret that i didn't go to the dentist when i had to and i should have gone to the dentist except living with that tooth for a year. but now i lost my tooth, but i still have the roots of my missing tooth. and also i have a really bad breath. i am trying everything i can to get rid of it but the missing tooth is giving a really bad breath. i wanted to ask you what i can do in order to get rid of this smell. and also my missing tooth won't affect the other teeth or wil it ? i really need your advice pleaseee

I'm trying everything because all I find is idiot dentist tomorrow I will be seeing my fourth dentist in the last 5 weeks because none of them know how to really do their job so I'm going to keep going until I find a good one but in the meantime please please can you let us know better ways to kill off internal bacteria I mean the bacteria underneath the filling..... The one that's causing insane pain, Because the antibiotics are not doing it diet alteration is not doing it plenty of fluids and rest is not doing it should I take three clove capsules a day?.....

    Please ma'm suggest me.....
    I am from India. I am tired of going to the doctor for the last 5 years. I am only 25 years old. Still I am tired of telling the dentist that tar starts accumulating on the teeth again within a few days of scaling. They do not check saliva, pH value of the mouth. They do not even give proper advice. In this way my money and precious teeth are getting wasted. What should I do now??🤔😐😐🙏
