your gloves remind me of the gloves the vet used to use breeding our cows....lol. nice haul. not many beaver down here in southern maryland. folks trap a lot of muskrat though.
Great video! Next time you are trapping in X County (don’t want to name county) let me know! I was trapping beaver all winter down here (I live here too). Had an otter set about 75 yards downstream from one of your beaver sets. Might have walked right by it and didn’t even know! Actually caught a beaver about 50 yard from where you had one of your sets through the ice this winter too! I knew there was more in there! Nice to see some familiar country in the video!
Great to see you guys at it again Chris. My black hat I got from you and Ken was a big hit. I handed out all the extra cards Ken sent hope you made some extra sales. Hope you have a great season.
Kenny made the comment towards the beginning about how checking empty traps for a couple hours gets old. Isn't it funny how we start questioning everything we know or have learned when seeing empty traps?!?! Then immediately after catching one those thoughts go away again! Congratulations on some solid numbers and really nice beavers in unfamiliar areas.👍 The work in trapping is enough by itself and trying to video it as well is just a huge untaking. Thanks for bringing us along and sure brings back alot of great memories of cold feet and hands along the creek banks. Thankfully never any Swan Divers...I will leave that to the pros!🤠
Great job guys. Seems like they are getting harder to trap this spring. Of course the high water doesn't help. I enjoy watching you two guys trap you get along so well. Of course tramping up and down the banks doesn't look like fun at all but the joy when you catch one of those big black ones makes all the pain go away, at least temporarily!!! Good job men.
Wow always so interesting watching, only animals I've ever trapped are a occasional pesky raccoon. Thanks for taking time to bring us along. 👍👍😁 Pat from nw Wisconsin
How long were you guys trapping together so cool that you do I know it means a lot when my bother and I duck hunt together great memories for sure and laughs .
This was my 2nd year trapping beaver. I run a small line and my goal was 30, I fell short at 24. I had a few toenails and snapped traps. I hope that by the time I'm a few years older I can put more time in. I absolutely love trapping and fur handling. I did get 3 giant black too! Your videos have helped me get quicker making sets.
Chris and Kenny young beaver is the best to eat , old blanket beaver got a piss taste . Probably be already to bottom. 😊 northern Manitoba got big blanket beaver . Carry on boys good beavers trapping. 😊
Ken took another plunge that wasn't recorded... Bad RUclipsr Chris. We'd watch that on a loop. My trapping blooper reel would be way longer than a catch reel. Especially since I didn't set steel at all this year.
Hard work guys, but so much fun! Two man carry beaver at the appliance store was a big dog. Appreciate the Carlson Three for taking us along. GNI
Yup, thanks for coming along Larry!

How do you make your beaver "love juice"? Just straight castor? Love your videos. Miss being on the trapline with the old man.
Ground castors and mineral oil.

Do you find temperature or rain influences the beaver movement?
I always paint my trap setters fluorescent orange helps to not lose them.
We think calm but damp, misting nights are best. It carries sent well.
The elusive Beaver meat has been located..... Rub it, soak it..... Season it.... then add some sauce...... Best red meat in the world!! JS'N
It is good meat!
Отличная охота!!
Thanks for watching!
@@outofthewoodyard Сам занимаюсь ловлей бобров.
👍👏🇺🇸
Thanks!
I want to go
Then get out there and do it!!!
What ever the payment you get for your beavers is its not enough. Have you ever under estimated the depth of a pond and got wet?
Yes it is a lot of work for sure and yes we have gone swimming!
Have you ever ate any beaver
Yup, it is a lot like beef.
Ken took another plunge that wasn't recorded... Bad RUclipsr Chris. We'd watch that on a loop.
My trapping blooper reel would be way longer than a catch reel. Especially since I didn't set steel at all this year.
Yup, he did a dive!
Is ken married?
yup
helo you eat Beaver meat
Yup, tastes like beef.
