    Nice video guys. Not the production you were hoping for but a bad day trapping is still a better day than setting at home. Hated it when someone messed with my gear or stole my fur or traps.

    Pan tension is your friend. When I went to 5-6lbs of pan tension my empty traps down the slider wire pretty much stopped.

    How often do you find someone snapped your sets?

    • @outofthewoodyard
      @outofthewoodyard  3 месяца назад

      Once in a while, it does happen. Mostly by people with dogs in the area.

    After seeing how well the new lightweight drowning rods work i wouldn't lug another pc of traintrack

      We have a bunch of them...maybe a couple dozen...in hard rocky creeks shallow they do not work well.... and they are slower to set. We put out 250-300 sets at a time... so speed rules.

    I think... If you had an intro at the beginning of videos explaining what you're doing and why with a few additional tidbits i think more of your viewers would sub imo
    Im ok with most of your content but don't have a clue about what's going on and why. Do you sell fur? What happens to all the animals etc etc etc

    I cannot understand why you guys don't use floats, with all that water, and spring trapping, and you don't use floats.

    • @outofthewoodyard
      @outofthewoodyard  3 месяца назад +1

      We run between 200-250 sets...we tried floats ....to big to much space..... waste of time to set up. We can put out 3-4 other sets in the time it takes to mess with one.
