  • Trapping is hard work ...BUT beaver trapping is like running a marathon EVERY day and we are deep into it on todays video...it feels like day 1000 but it is actually about day 7 or 8...we are very tired but the show must go on...SPRING BEAVER TRAPPING 2024...AWESOME FUM!

    You guys are monsters in the beaver trapping world. I’m 63 caught 87 this spring and it almost killed me lol.

    the swans were the perfect touch to a good day of trapping. if my late dad were alive to watch all your shows i can here him saY beaver backstraps smoked on the grill, oven roasted add garlic bread.

      Thanks....2 years ago we caught 580ish....this year 370 maybe??? low water...lots of competition too!

      For beaver only a license is needed but we each get 2 otter tags.

      3 railroad plates welded or wired together with a handle....pretty simple.

      We mix the castor 50% with mineral oil.

    Correction; those are Trumpeter swans making their nest, if they called you know by the sound asp. Tundra or formally Whistling swans are artic nesting birds. When the beaver market crashed in 1830 the trappers went after them for European lady powder puffs.

      If you say so ...but everyone I know including the Wisconsin DNR calls them tundra swans so.....???

      @@outofthewoodyard several of your spring beaver clips have had their calls ( Trumpters)recorded, check those and you will see the difference....of the two species. One of the best wild life recoveries those swans have had in 40 years
