Hey man ! When are you going to do give aways to different countries. Im from India
Not agree. The versys in e tier. Really ???
While the dumb gromm gets a beter tier.!!
Ive ownd a Sv 650s and now the versys 650. And they are Both greath bikes.
Hi
@@rudyhubrechts2154 Its a "fun chart"
Grom might not look good and have good power, but it is "fun"
Versys just maybe isnt quite fun / boring cause the concept is pretty much the same as every other bike.
The Vulcan S is fine. It is fine... I am getting another bike.
The most fun street bike is the one you own and ride!
Nope it's a grom
I have a 50 cc scooter
I'm using 150cc bike, and i have a lot of fun with it 🤣..
Brennan Hughes the only thing I don’t like about a scooter is you can’t shift its fast does 42 but the cvt doesn’t change anymore and the rpm goes up so I have to cruise at 35
200cc cafe racer. Zooming baby. When I'm coming down the street everyone's like "who the Fuck is mowing their lawn at 11pm.
Buy a dual sport and supermoto wheels and you have an A and S tier in one bike.
This is the way

This man thinks that 125cc is nothing while in Italy we wheelie with 50cc 4 stoke libertys
I do not know how but you can do it
and i slowly start thinking my friend is part Italien because he just dit it here in Germany
I'm from America and it is considered to be very little. 250 cc is considered beginner.
Dillon H yup
I am Italian too, and I see my mates wheelie with Kymco and Piaggio scooters, even 4 strokes, i instead do that with my RS 50
I feel like anyone that judges someone on their ride has a tiny penis.
I deeply resent the fact that you put the Versys 650 in the E tier. That was one of my favorite bikes. So utilitarian, easy to work on, throttle was great for a beginner...oh shit I fell into your trap.
It's an excellent bike, especially for the price, but there are more fun bikes out there, that's all he's saying :D Hell if Ari Henning rides and likes it, it must be good!
Spite should really try a Versys, he would probably have a Semmelweis reflex.
@@targuettemarquette I doubt it :P
The Versys 650 is for when you want to hit twisties the next state over, and still be able to use ALL of the power. The fact that it has the best suspension of a 650 class bike doesn't hurt.
It also depends very much on where you are. In my country that you have very twisty twisties, a generally low speed limit and not super well maintained roads, the Versys does its job more than fine. I love my cute Civ... Versys.
If you wanted to you could technically ride around on an r1 and never shift out of 1st gear, like a scooter lmao
My scooter does 42 and it’s at like 9k rpm which is redline
@@lethargicstove2024 when i was in thailand you could rent a scooter that went 80 km/h for like 5 bucks a day

I only just ranked up from a bikeless bro to a 125cc eurosquid and my cb125f has already been trashed in a tier list ;-; thanks spite
I had this bike a couple months ago and it wasn't a good 125cc bike but until you get a bigger bike is not a bad option
Bought a 98cc Rex Midget from 1951 for 600$/6000kr nice litlle piece of history and fun
@@OscarHernandez-pl8yv I have a R6 and a yzf-r 125 2020 I will say. And for me a part from the power difference, the ride is very much like my R6. It has a VVA engine and butterfly exhaust standard system. Before removing the limiter in ecu it still did around 80+ mph with out it the bike hits 90+ and will do that all day as I have done that. The fact that yamaha are putting all there technology in to small bikes in the R series your getting a lot of bike for the money. Considering uk are speed limit is 70 mph and the yzf-r 125 tops that it almost makes me think of selling my R6
@@chriscollins550 The yzf-r 125 is the best bike for 125cc. I bought a ktm duke 125 that almost hits 80 mph (not bad) but the fact that is a naked bike makes it not really good in the 6th gear.
@@OscarHernandez-pl8yv a friend of mine has a new 600cc ninja but can't take it above 80 as the new Ferring and just being a light bike it starts to lift front end in the wind.
I just bought a Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 as my first bike to have fun with on the weekends and feel totally validated by this video. It's basically everything you love about supermotos but with awesome styling slapped on top (plus a Quickshifter). Couldn't be more excited about starting this hobby. Cheers

"The perfect motorcycle for people who need their motorcycle to be a Honda Civic." This may be the best description of the Versys 650 that I have ever heard. 😂😂😂😂
I always considered the Versys to be the Mazda Miata of motorcycles, perfect blend of enough power that you can use all of it and great handling. Using the Civic trope, it could be a Civic Si, which is also a fun little twisty road blaster.
A 4 second Honda Civic that you can alway count on to start, get you where you want to go, and have a blast getting there. So sure.
I think he nailed it on the Versys. I own a Versys and love it.
I was going to buy the Versys, Currently I have drz400sm that i'm not riding enough. Would like to ride to my work but too far away.
Everything I researched pointed to the Versys 650. Mind you, I drive 2008 Toyota corolla as my daily. XD I'm beginning to think I found the one
@@mrvwbug4423 the Miata is the sv650.
I almost agree with nothing said in this video but it was fun to watch so 💁♂️
They bullshit a lot
>most fun street motorcycles
>puts dirt bikes, which are illegal on street, in B tier
Yea and how can you rate them b for fun especially if you've never rode one and he only rated it b for practically not fun which fun was the only purpose of the video🤣🤣🤣
That was a supermoto
Nvm
There are plenty of full on dirt bikes that classify in different parts of the world. The Enduro bikes are considered "Dual Sport" in the states because the US doesn't have serious enduro events (Hare and Hounds are not, by European standards, serious). But the EXCs are full on dirt bikes that are road legal in most countries.
And they are a real blast, even in road legal form. In fact, the Supermotards are almost always enduro machines with road tyres, a bit more front brake, and slightly stiffer suspenders. I happen to know a few people in Europe who have enduro/SM bikes that they'll swap from dirt to road specs in not much more than an hour.
2 extremely fun bikes for no more money than a cheapish sport bike.
😂 yeah they are some scrubs honestly, but still entertaining and that's the point really.
My mom would be happy knowing I got an A for once on a side note I really love my 2019 MT07
Holy shit that was a good one!! I needed that after the day i had..🤣😂
Had a 2018 MT-07. What a riot of a bike!
Just bought my 2019 MT07 last night! love the hell out of her!
probably will get an mt-07 as my first bike (Fuck it, I saw the video about getting 600cc bikes as a beginner). It needs to be throttled to 35kw/48ps anyways so you got the 75ps where you mainly need it, from the bottom
"... Unless you own a Vulcan S..."
How dare you, sir.
💯
I too don't get it, I think they're really cool
Yeah I bought my vulcan 900 with 4k miles on it for $6k. Daily commuter it has 30k miles on it now. Ride it nearly every day and it's fun to scrape the floorboards.
Love my vulcan s I've had it for a year now
I have an electric for hooliganism and a Vulcan for cruising
I bought my first bike 2 weeks ago after completing my MSF course. I'm 6'3" at 230 lbs and bought a 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650. I am enjoying the hell out of it. I've never rode a motorcycle before this. But I am loving it and I'm hooked on riding now.
I have been riding almost 40 years, for fun and professionally. I just bought a 2020 Kawasaki Versys 650 GT, Its a stunning bike mate, These 2 idiots think they know what there doing but they just left school or at least that's the way they come across to us experienced bikers, Just look at what they rant on about the busa, its shit, I had a few over the years, they have never been better than the ZX12R, there slower on pull away, no match in the bends and the breaks are shit against the Kwak, there for there slower. but the busa is best in the world to them.. You enjoy that Versys mate its a great bike.
I tried a supermoto once. Never again. Maybe out of curiosity but currently riding my 2004 suzuki sv650s and liking it so far.
How were you able to take the MSF course during covid? Here in Oregon its shut down and on a wait list. It's been like this for awhile.
X Reed In Texas, most of the courses are open to those willing. When in the classroom, we wore a covering, but on the range riding the bikes we had helmets on.
also a 6´3 “, the Versys ergo and usability is amazing. It’s a great choice

Oh hell yeah 😎! Best decision you've ever made!
They just killed your resale value! People tend to take these types of videos too seriously. I think the Versys is a great bike!
Add knobbies...and then it's a higher ranking dual sport/adv ;)
Yes @yammienoob do a video about why the Versys is actually great
Larger dual sports are the best do everything bikes. Go road triping, great commuting, lug a passenger, explore some light offroad, take the highway. If hitting 100mph isn't a need for you, then I think all people should start on a large dual sport to get a feel for the entire motorcycle experience.
Sincerely,

RIP KLR 650
If only more big dual sports were tuned like ktm 690's instead of 1980's lawn mowers.
@@Drunken_Hamster The price of those bikes is very hard to swallow though. In that price range you could get a very nice adv bike that arguably does the same thing.
@@Drunken_Hamster I kid you not, the first time the fired the KLR up at the dealership, my first thought was "This shit sounds like my lawnmower," lol.
Hey papa yam, just wanted to let you know that I bought a rebuilt 2nd gen Sv650 today for my first bike ever because of you! Couldn’t be more happy about it. Absolutely in love. You’re the man, thanks for all the great content mate. Hope to meet you someday!
Ive owned three 650 dual sports. KLR, DR and XR. The XR setup for the street is so fun!
The Kawasaki Versys 650 is more like owning a Honda Accord than a Honda Civic, (but they're both great cars). Fact; The KLE-650 will ROAST any KLR-650. (CLUNKERS)

Idk why people hate the versus 650 so much. It's basically a z650 but with a dad appearance (a little heavier) and more comfortable.
Yep. It's handles like the Ninja 650, goes like the Ninja 650, more comfortable than the Ninja 650 and has adjustable front shocks unlike the Ninja 650. I guess it's cool to hate on it.
I just bought mine 2 weeks ago...a 2019! I love it
Glad you mate. Great choice. Happy riding!
It's mostly butt ugly and boring as hell to ride but to each their own
Versys Love? I am no expert, i haven't ridden too many bikes and i enjoy the Versys 650 (early Cyclops model). It does it all: fun, easy to ride, comfortable as you sit high even with a passenger. Fill the tank and ride 220 miles, commuter duties, ok I am not taking a 500 lb bike off road but i only have one bike.
Yay I made it to B tier on my cruiser! lol I didn't expect you would put it that high on your list but i'll take it. Very entertaining run down of the bikes man. keep em coming!
Starting riding again after 30 years off (kids and bad thoughts). Got a Wr250R and don't think I will ever need anything else.
Stupid fun
The NC750X is the Honda Civic of bikes, the really rational choice
FJR1300 or Concours 1400.... thats has it all
I'd agree with that. If I was buying another sport tourer it would be one of those two.
Sumos are so much fun. I never wheelied in my life before i rode one. When i test rode the KTM SMC-R, well, my cat claims that the front wheel left the pavement a lot of times, but don't believe her, she's a mischievous cat.
So much fun. Absolutely draws out the hooligan in even the most gentle rider. Absolutely a bad idea if you are already predisposed to ride like an idiot.
Great job on the list Spike totally agree with you. The fun factor is the biggest thing for me with bikes or anything else I do in life.
sumo all the way! thanks for validating my choice of drz400sm being among the most "fun bikes" i could have purchased... That husky 710sm tho! 🤤
great content, keep it rollin!
I'm assuming 750s are along the 650s in the A Tier right? I hope so xD
As person who likes the vulcan hearing you say this makes me wanna game end my motorcycle life
Me: this video was just an ad for the Ducati Hypermotard???
Spite: ALWAYS HAS BEEN
I've owned pretty much every type of bike and I would say this list is well done, with the exception that ADV and Sport Tourers are MUCH more fun than cruisers.. and depending on your use case (as is mine) could be in the A tier if you enjoy riding for over an hour or two.
How dare you disrespect the ultimate 2 wheel masterpiece known as the Versys 650.
Bro he chose a goldwing over a versys 650.
It's a running joke in this channel. I don't think Yammie has ever even ridden one. We still keep trying to get the Patreon crew to pick one as a giveaway bike.
LoL, I've never ridden one either....
7:11 that boys and girls is a Yamaha YTX 125. They are sold in the Philippines. I have one and they fit in the same grouping as the Versys 650. But, for under $1000 with insurance tax and tag, and a bullet proof engine and very forgiving bike that doesn't mind getting on its side when goofing off in the dirt, big smiles boys and girls, on a dollar's worth of gas.
The hate on the Vulcan made me give you a like. It's like the versys but for cruisers.
Same engine, lol. All they have to do is make that engine series "crossplane" and they instantly bring back the hype and buyers.
Oh. And crossplanify the ninja 400, too. That'd be REAL interesting.
Great video and you covered all the categories I could think of. A lot of these rankings are relative to age though. Light, flickable, powerful bikes are great when you're new to the sport and if you always just ride short distances, but after a while when a person decides they want to put on some serious miles they tend to start looking at something a bit heavier like a sport touring or cruiser with some luggage.
I'm 68 and I guess I'll never get to the age where I see a all out touring bike as my best option though. Some of those remind me of a Cadillac with two wheels. Put me and the wife on and a person's probably looking at 1200 - 1300 lbs.
I'd sure love to see you and Yammie take a long trip with the Busa and any one of the other bikes you have there, and at the end of the trip let us know your thoughts, ... (or rent a couple of sport touring bikes you don't have such as the FJR1300 and new 1400 Concours).
The dog analogy is perfect. Some are cuddly and some were designed to rip your arms off. For example, the R1 in A mode.
The bike to dog analogy was just beautiful and wise❤️✊🏾
You forgot the amazing 900 class Bikes, z900, 890duke, mt09, Ducati Monster 821...
Fact: there is a man named Mr. Suzuki who works at Yamaha in Japan that drives a Mazda.
Where are my 2-stroke supermoto riders at?
Spite, how are you gonna put the VFR800 in C tier, behind cruisers? It's so comfy, has a good bit more power than the 650 class, and it'll still carve up the twisties. Put on the bags and you can go miles. I think you should revisit your old VFR and see if you don't like it better these days.
I love this setup for explaining it! I can really understand it. Keep up the good content!
Where would you put the Retro bikes like the Triumph Bonnies, Kawi Z900RS, etc....?
Personally I put them up at the A tier. Not tons of HP, but look cool, handle well, you can drive for hours, and when parked always draw a crowd.
In UK we go something like 125>bigger>big bike, I was almost going to buy a versys 650 after 125 until I watched your video riding a versys talking about the Tracer and I'm glad I did lol
I get the Versys angle but if the z650/ninja650 is A tier then Versys is A tier. Theyr'e all the same bike except Versys doesn't make your back ache if you're over 6ft and you and sorta take them off road

I just bought my first ever bike a ninja 300. It’s a whole new world . Thanks to you guys
Why is de versys E tier when it's both the A tier bikes
If you want a fun bike try a aprilia dorso duro 750
I own an fj09 and anything with yamaha triple deserves to be at least an A or B tier! You put my bike in D tier... below cruisers thats sad. But on the bright side now I want to try a summo out really bad!
Spite is becoming a great narrator good job!
I definitely enjoy my adventure bike and xsr900 more than both my s1000rr I had.
So for me, I want to go across town or to the Grand Canyon. My modded F6B goldwing with a Traxxion Dynamics suspension. Fast, nimble and super comfy. Touring is so fun.

The versys is very capable in the corners, i think the Vulcan 650 is more deserving of sole e tier
I drive a Versys 650 and you could not be more wrong!!
I am a Eurobro wich is sad here tryng to ride a bike is hard like having a bike here is sad i don't really know mph well but here the top speed is abou 95MPH and we can get a 50cc at 14, 125cc (11kw) at 16, at 18 we can get any cc but a limit of 36 kw i think and only at 25 you can actually choose a bike you want with any cc and any KW so we can only have the fun of a 1000cc or more at 25 wich is sad when i see the americans geting whatever they want at like 18
EDIT: I just went on google and actual speed limit here in MPH is 75 MPH
be able to ride a 50cc at 14 and a 125 at 16 would have been so much fun as a teenager. you essentially get the freedom of an adult 4 years early, and the price to pay for that is you don't get the freedom to ride a high powered death machine until you're a little older. seem pretty reasonable, you cant legally use the power of a 1000cc on the road anyway
@@metalmaster76 Yes but we have to take a new licence every time wich isn't cheap not every 14 year old has money for a bike and to take the licence only to have to do it again at 16 and at 18 and eventualy at 25 here licences are not cheap, it's way easier to get a car you just have to take one licence at 18 that's why i said they make it hard for bikers here cause if you think about it in america it's way easier.
DEEZ NUTS i know o bought a 98cc Rex midget from 1951 and the prize for any MC license is 1500-2500$
You got one thing right.
The Versys 650 belongs in a class of it's own !
100,000 + miles worth.
Reliable as a Honda Civic.
I’m on a street legal rmz 450 after selling my gsxr and although it feels like I just ran backwards through a corn field after I get off it’s still the most fun I’ve ever had on a bike
@ first, not all 125cc bikes are the same.
2-stroke 125, unrestricted = fun!
But must agree with he supermoto, had a track training once with the yamaha wr450, it was absolutely a blast, even in the summer heat!
Unironically 50cc scooters in S tier.
Glad to see you got the KTM, the 690 and 701 truly do stand in their own class. We need a DRZ-SMC R video soon!
I love the Vulcan S lol its freaking clean and looks fun... never ridden one tho
Tbh, i listen to your videos while i play games just because info and a soothing narration. Not sleepy soothing just your voice doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Funny that you exclude the Vulcan S. Of course there are many different Vulcans. I allow myself to own any bike I want under $6k, and I have a couple of dozen. I'm not a cruiser guy, but I've owned and ridden a lot of them. I prefer standards and "naked" bikes and add my own accessories. And Yet, I have a couple of first gen Vulcan VN750's. Talk about a great bike to hop on for no particular reason and ride for a couple of hours! And I've personally known riders from 5'4"-6'2" that fit and enjoyed them. I would add this particular model all the way up to the B category.
How the world feel about the Vulcan: America: NEVER, No way, shit bike, not a real cruiser..... and so on. Rest of the entire world: Nice and practical, comfy and cheap, I like it.
I know. I own one. Quick like the Ninja 650 and handles pretty well for a cruiser.
So i guess im somewhere between B and A?
I got a Naked.... a Air Cooled V-Twin.... its an 1100ccm... its not a Hypernaked.... its a 86Hp Moto Guzzi Breva 1100
I really appreciate the 650s being high up on the list. They are just so much fun and you can almost reach their full potential on the street. They have the right amount of torque and are made for just about everyone. I love them so freaking much.
my versys was fun as hell.. scraping pegs while fully hanging off, pinning the throttle after every shift, sliding the rear mid corner because of poor dampening, squirm through the whole chassis over every bump.. its fun to ride a slow bike fast. it was as fun as it was scary. made me a much much better rider once i moved up to something with better suspension, stiffer chassis, and smoother fueling.
The Yamaha XT. Supermoto, dualsport, adventure, dirtbike. Get an XT and you got several bikes rolled into one.
Retro Amateur nah, WR250R FTW
My dad rides a cruise not harly his rideing buds stoped by to visit a grand pa came on a nija 400
Forget my earlier comment ..... has Spite bought a ktm 690 smc R ??? 😱 MY MAN !! I hope there’ll be an in depth review in the coming days/weeks !?!? 🤞
Nice catch spike. Excellent run down. Spot on. Great video
supermotos and dirt bikes would be personal favourite
In european countries having 150 + hp on motocyle equals for fast overtaking. If you dont ride on much of "autobahns" then having good amount of power in reserve is pretty great
Your list is very subjective. For myself your D tier would be my A tier, as I prefer touring bikes over all others, particularly my 2018 Goldwing.
If Honda goldwing is funnier than Versys then I am a superman
How come The King of Sport Cruiser is not mentioned !! VMAX or similar bikes VROD or M109 !
I went with the ninja 650 for my
First bike!! Absolutely love it!!!! I’m using it to vlog now!
I put supersports at F tier. Sure they're fun at a track, but I prefer a bike I can ride more than 13 minutes without have a chiropractor on speed dial...
as a 16yo finnish boy i can say i love my ktm duke 125 and that its totally enough for city riding
Yeah, American "city" riding is unusual in that you still need to be comfortable in 3 lanes of traffic at 120km/h
As another fellow 16 year old I love my 17 R1
Everyone ranks their motorcycles in their own tiers depending on what they like or is available to them.
Should've bought the Husqvarna 701, premium quality!
My dad had a honda cr500 supermoto
Y'all need to get a true Cruiser bro on the channel. Spite is close, but it would be great to see someone break down an F-S of the cruisers market. Someone who knows that the Yamaha line of cruisers is great, but lack the soul of a Harley or Indian bagger. Someone who knows that the best bang for the buck comes in the Honda VTX line. The line that should have stuck around for the slump in Harley and the demise of Victory. Just personal examples, but some that would expand the horizons of your channel to new viewers. Love the channel though. I'm a huge fan of what you're doing.
The most radical supermoto's ever created are the Aprilia SXV 450 with 60 hp and 550 with 70 hp. V twins with a 180 mm rear tire a monsterous sound and gorgeous styling.
You can get Yamaha wr or Ktm exc for ur road legal dirtbike
Well, As a «euroBro» i can say that not all 125cc bikes are boring. Try a ktm exc 125 supermoto, or any similar 125cc 2 stroke SM. That would have changed your mind
I couldn't help but laugh at the statement that one could take a 600 Super Sport to the track and get out everything it is capable of. Anyone that can actually do that, is being paid large amounts by race teams. Most riders can't get everything a Ninja 400 or R3 has to deliver.
Where are the middleweight nakeds? Bikes like the MT-09 and Z900 should be S tier, can use a fair bit of the power, they are stupidly fun to ride and are powerful enough to really get you into trouble if you want haha.
Did you see the Audi r8 6:36
S+ tier bike is the KTM 990 supermoto. You get a supermotor with a v-twin liter engine. Thing pulls like mad!
Spot on about 125cc learner here in the U.K. . I have never been more scared than when joined a dual carriageway (aka highway ) in rush hour every day . Not sure how I’m still alive frankly .
