But they are all similar systems .. I just got a Jakl when the 16in uppers came out ( pin and welded is destroying a barrel , imo . No thank you ) so I been researching this system … JAKL , ACR, SCAR , MCX… in deciding if I was getting one . .. The Jakl is a win ! Non-reciprocating charge handle . AR lower and controls . I bought the upper and lower separate to save a few bucks .. I think all in … taxes, shipping … it was 1250 then 30 buck FFL transfer fee to pick up lower .
Not even close to being a scar dude. This uses a long stroke gas piston like an AK and the scar used a short stroke gas piston. It may look like a scar but it’s completely different.
The double feed and sp might be due to the brass hitting the front off the ejection slot, watch really closely when the brass tries to exit.
