    I saw a number of comments asking if my PSA Sabre 10, or M110 clone, in 6.5 Creedmoor worked without the silencer and what type of 5 shot groups could it produce. We take another look at this rifle to find out if it runs without the silencer and if it really shoots sub-MOA 5 shot groups.

    My 6.5 works with ASC mags as well as LaRue & Pmags. PSA includes D&H mags with he .308 and these are the ones causing feeding issues in the 6.5 rifles. My .308 rifle however was under-gassed but PSA got it sorted quickly. Both run like a top now.

    I work for KAC. I promise we have issues you never hear about. Also why we produce half the amount of guns. We spend a lot of time in house fixing things before they leave. Benefits of being a big name. People already complain that PSA is “out of stock” all the time and then the same people complain about quality. If you want quality to a T you slow down production. You slow down production you get complaints about not enough guns. Not to mention the price. You want this gun to cost 2k more? That’s how you’ll get your perfection. But guess what they make up for this with instant gratification via their customer service. You want your KAC rifle fixed get ready to have your gun gone for a month. It’s all relative. I personally work for a company that I don’t own a rifle from nor could afford and honestly don’t see a reason for when there are rifles that cost a quarter as much. A SASS kit will run you 30k. This gun 1400$? What’s the loss here. I won psa guns and have had zero issues. We have more than enough things we iron out at KAC before you even see the gun on shelf. This isn’t bashing anyone. This is just facts of business.

    I've got a lot of trigger time with m110s and SR 25s, and I'm impressed with psa's offering. The accuracy is excellent. I think a lot of hate is just because psa made it. I've always have noticed that the kac guns seem to have this mythology about them that is far from the truth. Most common one I hear is accuracy, which most people I've just bummed into honestly believe is on par or better than a bolt rifle. I've never seen one that good most are about 1.5 moa.

    • @Militaryarmschannel
      @Militaryarmschannel  Год назад +17

      That's what I've read, but I don't have any experience with the KAC rifles.

    • @mynameisjeff6988
      @mynameisjeff6988 Год назад +4

      They are 1.5 moa guns on NATO ball ammo. The surplus stuff. When you start running match ammo like its supposed to be fed since it's twist rate is meant for heavier OTM rounds, you'll start getting good accuracy. Honestly though, the gun is not meant to be a tack shooter. Its meant to stabilize the heaviest, purpose built cartridges that the gun was meant for. Its a gun that was built to throw heavy hunting projectiles meant to kill people at long range.
      Trust me, the military would absolutely love to not spend 5 grand on a rifle when a 2000 dollar rifle will do the same thing. Unfortunately though, cheaper guns will not hold up to the same requirements. Are they worth 4 times as much as this? Maybe, maybe not. Do the people who are able to use anything regardless of price still useweapons from the m110 program? yes.

    • @jonathanlogan6647
      @jonathanlogan6647 Год назад +4

      @mynameisjeff6988 you are aware he current m110 is not a kac right? Oh well, I found the myth believing troll at least. Think about what you just said why would the army specify the accuracy requirement for an ammo that the weapon would never use unless it had no option.

      "Poverty State Armory" is what the gun snobs generally say. Their followers repeat it and will only buy something that cost at least 4x, because "the more it costs, the better it is"
      I've not bought anything outside of the PSAK103 from them so I can't speak on the AR platform, but their ak has not given me 1 problem.

    • @duncanlemp428
      @duncanlemp428 Год назад

      @@PaperMakersAdeludedbroad yeh they get clowned on because they deserve it. They pump out trash ass guns but psa simps refuse to look at the evidence. They’ve openly admitted that they would rather take the hit of warranting guns than to 1)hire/train employees to build guns properly and 2)actually invest in doing quality control checks. The fact you haven’t had problems with your ak103 just tells me you haven’t shot it very much. I’ve got two of their aks. An ak103 and an Ak74. The 74 is on its third bolt after two trips back to psa for an out of spec bolt blowing primers out, a problem that mac himself had as well as about half a dozen other RUclipsrs alone I can think of off the top of my head. Pathetic. Both my guns have terrible peening and abnormal wear on the locking surfaces because psa cant figure out geometry or metallurgy. Just got my Ak103 back from them also from fixing the canted front sight and folding stock that was loose as hell. Test fired it last weekend and now it’s starting to blow out primers also. The sad thing is these are known problems. I’ve talked to dudes that are on their 5th bolt replacement. On top of all that their trunions are made for beveled rivets but they use flat rivets on them instead. They build a shit product and they don’t deserve our money

But I don't think it's necessarily a PSA issue so much as it is mostly an AR10 issue. AR10s are notorious for being unreliable. Even the better brands like aero they aren't that great. Just like the AKs though they have some kinks to work out for sure. Hopefully this gun does better in the years to come. I think PSA should get more love just on their mission statement alone. They're trying to arm as many Americans as possible with a low cost to entry. Something any 2A lover could appreciate

      I just received this rifle in 308 yesterday. Im taking it out to the thousand yard range Saturday. That said, the Texas plinking channel had an issue with his 308 AR10 Sabre. It wasn’t “people hating” his gas port was not drilled properly and PSA had to fix it. The 110 sass actual channel also reported issues with multiple malfunctions on his 6.5 version of the rifle. When only 3 trusted sources on RUclips make a video on a new firearm and two of them are negative, it’s justified for people to question the rifle.

      @@1retiredknight it's literally everywhere. Aside from the anecdotes I've dealt with with an aero AR10 and 3 other people I know with AR10s where we've had to mortar them multiple times during malfunctions. Bolt dragging, firing pin being beat to sh*t, gassing issues, feeding issues. Tried good ammo, cheap ammo, steel ammo, different mags, etc. Same issue. Of course I'm some guy on the Internet so I don't expect you to take my word for it but there's many guntubers who recall similar issues. Trex arms even did an hour long video with the very same aero AR10 I had. Same issues. My brother has the same issues with a Totally different brand. Problem with AR10s is they're not in spec. There's no standardization of tolerances with the models on top of the fact the gun beats itself to death being most of the internals like the firing pin are the exact same for the AR-15. If you got one that's truly had no issues and You've truly run that thing hard then keep it. You have a unicorn and I envy you.
