WRONG! The NRA would have allowed adults the option of having a gun on them to protect themselves and the children. Blame the liberals that support these Gun-Free-Zones that constantly get people killed.
You got to give these graduates a lot of credit, to experience what they did at a very young age and continued to try to live, even though I’m a post 9/11 survivor I still have PTSD from just surviving that and I was 20 Can’t imagine how much worse it was for these kids God bless them all!
im so sorry you had to experience that and live with the ptsd from it daily. i have ptsd from a school shooting, not sandy hook but i was 15 and now im 20. a service dog has helped me a lot especially with college. im sure you can relate to it but whenver i am in public and also at home sometimes i am afraid of it happening again/specific things trigger me but also random ones. i cant imagine how that all was for you, and i really am truly sorry that it happened and that it happened to you.
@@fluttershypi I just happened to get to class very early the day of the 9/11 attacks, my college BMCC Fiterman building is literally near the towers I saw many deaths and injuries and almost died that day and inhaled a lot of chemicals and almost crushed by debris Since 2001, I just avoid going around there, that’s how I can avoid remembering that day
@@DTO3167 man i am so sorry, i cant even imagine how horrifying and scarring that was for you. i also happened to get to school very early as what happened at my school happened around 20min before classes even started, very early. me and my sister would usually get there right on time or late since my little sister was dropped off at middle school before our parents dropped us off... but that day for whatever reason we were early im glad you got out of that all alive. nobody should have to witness that and experience such near death horrifically :( especially when young. you're great, and i know i dont know you but i love you man, i wish you the best and im glad you're here. thank you for telling part of your story.
@@fluttershypi thank you, sorry for the late response, RUclips doesn’t notify me when a comment is updated And thank you for sharing your story It was a tough day for all of us, just a little closer to home when your there and saw it up close But here is one embarrassing fact: when I was a freshman at BMCC in 2001, I would walk around chambers street and around Broadway , Tribeca basically and never knew I was buying my WWE magazines in the twin towers, I asked around the news stands where I can buy it and they pointed at those buildings but I never knew until I saw the holes up close And another fact: BMCC had us return in October, keep in mind, the chemicals were still heavily in the air so for months, just like the first responders, I also was being exposed to harmful chemicals on an everyday basis You know what their logic was, the campuses are sealed and well air ventilated , not using common sense, the building is safe but I got to walk from the subways to your building or let’s say I did drive, BMCC has no garage so you got to park in the street, 2021 they finally sent me a letter they messed up and to come get checked out 😂
So devastating. This story continues to break my heart. I’m so sorry for the families and friends, the whole community. I pray for continued healing and peace.
