- Jenny Hubbard and her family were just your typical middle-class American family. She recounts how her daughter used to tell animals to tell their friends, that she was kind, before releasing them. Jenny received a call the morning of December 14th, 2012 from her children's school, and when she arrived, it was a scene no parent wants to see. After being unable to find her daughter, she was told that her daughter Catherine, was one of 26 people who lost their lives in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

i think about these young, sweet humans a lot as a kindergarten teacher now. i love hearing these stories of remembering them, Catherine and her beautiful, fiery locks are forever etched into my heart. i wish i could give these grieving families a hug, my heart breaks and aches for them.
I wish her and her family very best in life.

The butterfly appearing at the end was beautiful, her doughter will always be watching over her mama and brother
She grieves a different way for sure. Interesting how all humans are so different in our approaches. That last sentiment was incredibly powerful. About someone not knowing who Catherine was but having been to her animal sanctuary, and Jenny kindly remarking "we have arrived."

She is with you, sitting beside, guiding you, giving you a hug everything and anything that sweet girl would have done or had done. My brother was murdered I...... Find myself not driving in certain areas but you know I can't do that for the rest of my life. He has been gone since 2016..
I'm so sorry for your loss. You keep fighting and one day you will drive in those areas and you will succeed. Love to you!
@@amberbarrett5641 thank you. Much love to you. He was murdered at a gas station thankfully I do not live in that town anymore but when I go back... It's hard my sister in law moved on that side of town. Told her I couldn't go to her home... Couldn't face that area

So glad that she had a smile when she talked about her daughter I hope to see her way more of these days that she smile when she thinks about her daughter thank you for name okay what's his name or dreams about whatever it is I hope you have more days of smiling and thinking of the good memories that he does crying I want to go up into a ball and having bad man we can go ahead with that for her husband and her son I wish that anyone and everyone who is thinking about other one be a friend or family because of anything like this humor to this or get human dying in general known to heal your pain it doesn't matter how old you are it doesn't matter sex it doesn't matter your relation known deserve the kind of pain and I'm so happy to hear David smile and talk about her daughter with a beautiful smile on her face and I'm glad that the animal thank you very I don't had on a Catherine by doing something so awesome. I know they have to be a lot of mistakes I mentally challenged it's my spelling very hard for me I'm all here very emotional with it I think very understandable which again makes you spelling even harder for me so I apologize funny misspelling have a nice day take care of yourself be the change you want to see in the world.

Joy I'm medically challenged I try to spell just by you know typing but half a time I spell was wrong so I tried to use the microphone in my phone and KTV ever having used the microphone in your phone and your technology it's crap absolutely positively crap I say words and they give me words I don't say or sensitive that don't say so that's why it sounds like it looks like the way that it does but anyhow I was trying to say that I'm so happy that the lady is smiling when she talks about her daughter and that's it all found you can sad and shuffle when she goes to talk about that horrible day I'm glad to see they would smile and I hope you have more smiles day than I smile days I hope you understand what I'm saying now.

why is she smiling . all smiles. never tears. and always these . made up story's of these amazing story's of these people had these adorable . story that no other family's have like made up stuff like. we have this little game . catch a little creater .and then let it go. Avery morning . where do they get this stuff. story book time but no other family . of other shooting have these smile and story's . why is that .
