C'mon baby shark doo doo dupe da doo
God...
God damn ear worm...
Best whoop review channel out there!
Aw thank you
This one flies great and newer batches now have the A30 connector. They're still selling it at $109, too, let's hope they keep the price the same.
I instantly saw it and thought "Baby SHARK" 🤣
doo doo doo doo
Lol
Out of the box…me too 😂
The blue TPU, brass threaded inserts for securing, and the packaging. It all screams Sub250 to me...
This drone is identical to my second hand nanofly 16, but 60$ less which is why I'm watching this review 😂
Thanks for the video Nick. I have to say I like the look of this one, hilarious, can't wait for the Shark-a-nado memes lol. Nice indoor rip too, that camera does look good inside for a whoop sized one. Always a pleasure watching your videos, thanks for sharing. Cheers!
You can't spot the difference between these motor cause they are the same... Rcin, flywoo, sub 250 and now HGLRC are all from the same factory, with just a different bell design.
Grab a set of happymodel or t-motor and you will clearly see the difference, and rotate them by hand, you will just feel a HUGE difference in "notchiness" between both magnet.
I agreed on this one being on the heavy side at +30g dry for a 1S 40mm props quad, sub 25g like most of the 75 whoop nowadays is were it is imo.
That certainly cause of that canopy as you said, but also cause of that 6.2g AIO FC.
About the cam it look a lot like an standard Ant sensor to me, with a new light weight lense.
Your flying is far from 'mid', Nick. Great video!
It gets some good flight time for a 1s.
yea, I agree pretty good
Yet another amazing video, well done 👍 always the newest and most fun in the hobby. Thank you.
Thumbs up for the shark intro alone 😁 argrarrargarar! 🦈
like I am playing with my kids years ago.
Glad to see these come out to compete with the price creep we have seen with Flywoo and Sub250. Got a set of these 1002's coming to compare to my RCINPower, Happymodel and Flywoo 1002s in weight and performance.
What sort of setup will you be testing on?
Don't expect much change from your rcinpower and flywoo motor, they are the same...
@@DonJohnsonFPVMissed this somehow. Yeah, I had come to that same conclusion a long time ago though I do see minor differences sometimes like shaft length or silicone/heatshrink or none of above for the PCB. Seems most that are not happymodel are flat magnet and usually the HMs are lightest in class. So far weights are HM 1002s as lightest with the Flywoo coming in second RCINPower 3rd and HGLRC 4th with a whopping 0.1g increase over 3rd place. I haven't test flown the HGLRCs yet as my superbee f4 lite seemed to have a bad fet on one of the motor outputs, was a first from HM out of about 9 so far.
i ordered one before i saw any vids on yt… looks good im happy xD thanks for all the awesome content
Fantastic flying and review, Nick! 😃
Really fun little quad!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I think I would fly a few packs and then print a different canopy
for camera angle or weight?
@@NickBurnsFPV Yes. lol, a little of both. thats a whole lot of extra plastic doing nothing except maybe taking an impact and dispersing it around the FC and camera. Camera angle? I would need to see how I feel about the angle and go from there. I'm a fusion360 addict anyway.
@@Mupshot One aspect of this hobby I haven't dove much in on is printing and design.
Good stuff. Looks like a fun little quad. Not a fan of the Tango 2 either. I use it for the sims. The micro TX module seems to work better. My Tango kept losing bind. I use the giant TX16s to fly these little suckers which is rare lately.
my tango keeps bind, but the gimbals just aren't as smooth I have gotten used to.
Hoy llego el mio, veremos el fin de semana como se porta...la controladora esta tremenda. Excelente calidad, me gustaria conseguir el STL para imprimir para la bateria...no creo que dure mucho...!!!!
Now this is super cute
Immediate thumbs up for the first 20ish seconds! 😜
To increase camera angle, you can just add a spacer under the front of the print, but personally I would just change the canopy, even though it IS cute 😊
How are the HGLRC 1002 motors???
HGLRC have a bunch of micro motors that they released recently that are interesting… I generally like their stuff, but haven’t gotten around to testing them, I have a backlog of about 20 motors I haven’t gotten to yet 😜
I do believe I cover my thoughts on the motor in the last 5-6minutes, but smooth and seemingly good performers.
@@NickBurnsFPV you do talk about them, I was just wondering if you noticed anything else, that’s all.
You are one of the only people whose videos I watch in their entirety… at least once. Because I don’t want to miss story time, and I really value your opinion.
These motor are the exact same as rcinpower, flywoo and sub 250g, just a different bell design.
@@DonJohnsonFPV Thank you 🙏
@@lemonsquareFPV I see Don responded. I often wonder how one can identify a motor manufacturer across brands when half the design is different. Maybe knowing someone from one of the companies is the way.
The 12 gauge autoloader
The .45 longslide, with laser sighting
Phased plasma rifle in the 40 Watt range
The Uzi 9 mm.
What??
i honestly adore how this quad looks/seems to fly on so many levels but i have one counter point to your weight savings thought process here. my personal anecdotal argument for heavier parts on whoops is you start getting to the sorta disk load where it feels more flingy like a bigger freestyle quad. now of course you are gonna end up with more propwash recovering out of drops with the lower thrust to weight ratio and also the higher disk load is going directly correlate with lower efficiency and shorter flight times. but it does give you more inertia which really heavily plays into a more flowy/juicy/almost sbangy freestyle way of flying where you're relying on the inertia of the quad instead of just powering through. trimming down the weight definitely makes sense with how you like to fly, i remember you mentioning like pod racy kinda feels at one point but also having a heavier driftier quad definitely also has it's place in my opinion!! also omg it's so cute!
Good point. I also like the tiny frames that allow a top mount battery for similar reasons.
the ability to gain inertia is the downside of weight savings.
Flywoo sells (or sold) a nano camera which had a lens very similar to this, the PCB had Caddx Ant written on it though - its just the Ant sensor/internals with a custom lens put on it - and i assume thats what this is too (actually, i think this might even be the Flywoo camera as it has a similar, very narrow FOV). But it looks very clear; this might be good for people that don't like the wide FOV that most/all whoop cameras have.
I was thinking it could be a lens from the runcam atom as well. The small hdzero camera uses that atom lens. Maybe this one too.
That's it, I'm going to need to purchase one, this is to cute. Thanks for the video Nick.
Need a 6s version?? 🤣
Awesome ripping. Cool quad
Good price
Not bad on AMAZON Right now $119.99
Little thing ripsss holy fuckkk for 1s I like it I need another small thing lol let’s gooo small Mandalooooo
Hello 🎉
Great review , also are you the nick burns "I.t guy" from SNL?
boy I hope not. That character was rude and not a looker. :)
Still don't kno why people don't make more 1s 3 in. It's the best, betas new 2s 3in.12amp really has me interested
I suspect we don't see them today as most of these companies made 3inch 1s a few years back. Myself I prefer the smaller ones, 3inch just feels bigger in the air.
Wow! i would buy this just because it's one of a kind! A little mini shark flying around the house with open props! Wife will love it. Cheers Nick great review! as always Happy 4th!
a RID module will look super sweet on that thing 🙄
damn bro nice house
Thank you
Nice review Nick. I wonder if the choppy dvr is due to the analog setting on the goggles isn’t set correctly between PAL and NTSC. That was an option that was recently added in the goggles firmware update.
I will check that. Thank you for that tip.
I have this quad,I need help set it up cause I'm new to the fpv and I believe I have it bound but is not working:(
In general binding is pretty much the same from quad to quad depending on the receiver protocol used.
Hey Nick this is not a little quad I'm a fan of. Cheers bud!
prefer those micros that run bigger props or more cell batteries.
Is the camera not the Caddx Ant Lite camera? Can't really tell because of the print though.
It could be, but the lens I have not seen on the ant series of cameras. Its not listed individually on either site. Looks like a runcam atom lens on potentially the caddx ant board/sensor.
@@NickBurnsFPV interesting 🧐
Could it just be the Runcam nano 3 then? Maybe they wrote the wrong camera brand 😂
@@_tcmore This could be as well. Hopefully we will see it listed soon and it will become known.
Great review Nick. Have you got more info about this caddx camera? The price for this micro is quite appealing! I'm considering getting one.
unfortunately I don't. Its not listed individually on HGLRC website or caddxfpv. Seems this camera was silently launched
Can you add crossfire module to your zorro? looking at getting one with elrs
I could, I just don't have one.
HEY! where did you get that 550 mah gnb with a30? I need some 450-750 of that exact size with bt2.0 OR a30 in the USA
I think I bought them from racedayquads.com
Nick prices going down hunting for stuff
I hear the mobula8 has had a price drop as well.
Hi sir.
This micro or Crux3 1s to learn freestyle in park? :)
Crux3 1s due to increase in flight time.
@@NickBurnsFPV thank you for replay. Regards from Poland! :)
Hi Nick, better Flywoo baby V2 ?
my personal opinion is yes, but I really want to change the canopy. As is, tie.
@@NickBurnsFPV Ok, thank just good motor this 😉
Canopy Mobula is possible
Jaws would be a better name lol or parannah lol
surely jaws was in the naming conversation.
Hello Nick! Still mobula6 your best whoop?😊
For me and analog I like the mobula 7 more. Its 75mm and 40mm props. I fly it both inside and out. Better performance and more flight time with only a 10mm size increase.
@@NickBurnsFPV sorry to disturb you again, can you please tell me which kind of hd tinwhoop do you recommand for fun like in your video? Thank you!
@@julienrodrigue9170 hd as in hd video transmission or on board hd recording?
@@NickBurnsFPV Hd video transmission🙂
@@julienrodrigue9170 Which HD video system?
Canopy not so Robust 😢
Its pretty flexible, not certain if it went sliding across the cement it would stay on the brass fittings.
Mobula 8. $107 GetFPV.
Did we see a price drop with that one? I thought it initially was $129
@@NickBurnsFPV Sorry crossfire version $129 Get fpv. RDQ $105 ELRS.
Mobula 8 is great! 👍🏻
You can also switch everything to a 2, 2.5 or even a 3” bi-blade toothpick as the 1103 motors are quite oversized. But with a good tune, performance is quite good for the price.
Mobula 8 is my favourite new frame, it’s so good!!! Second favourite recently is the BetaFPV 75pro.
Excellent engineering and performance on both of these frames 👍🏻👍🏻 so good!
@@lemonsquareFPV Thanks for the great information. I'm sure I will pull apart quad after a few crashes.
You're officially required to conformal coat the mess out of the shark and fly it in your pool. You have No other options with a name and shape like that
ha! oh yes certainly. No video underwater though
@@NickBurnsFPV drop a gopro in and get that lobster point of view 😜
@@Shauny_D ha!!
🐩
Ahhh, you lost me 30 seconds in when you said it was 1S ! I've been in the hobby, and especially into micros, for too long to get excited about 1S. Because 2S makes it sooooooo much better in sooooooo many ways! Nick agrees. I know that already.... lol 🤷🤦
Lol dunnn int..
