If you convert a Nanohawk just like I show in this video, and you mount your props in the reverse direction (sometimes called "props out"), and you flash Emuflight 0.3.3, then you can use my full CLI dump: bit.ly/3ARdHHO
Here are the CLI to rotate board and remap motor (may require fixing the motor direction in ESC firmware). Works with any FC running Emuflight or Betaflight:

Thank you so much for this great idea! I basically made an exact copy, but added a crossfire receiver and changed the battery lead to BT2.0 (to use some existing batteries) and ended up at 23g even. I used the HQ props 40mmX2GR. With a 550mAh (betafpv lava, stop at 3.5V) I get a little over 4min of fun ripping 😊 it flys fantastic with no additional changes (except rates).
I won a nanohawk in IGOW3 finals, and I already ordered 40mm GF props, and Beebrain V2 canopy to do this mod!
Can't wait to get the whoop and the parts!
Congrats!
Thanks!
Double bumper!🙌
2 ear in front 1 ear on the back motors. Dude you are someone who drives the whoop comunity forward man, this stuff is amazing
Big facts
whats the whoop community
Yeah moblite putting out a whoop based on his video is pretty rad.
Banggood has the plastic screws now. You are very inspiring part of this hobby, thanks.
Yes indeed! He is constantly making things smaller. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
It seems to me that these plastic screws from banggood are just nylon. There is no durability. RENY is much stronger.
I haven't tried the screws from Banggood. If they are made of RENY, that's great. If they are made of Nylon, then they will bee too soft.
@@MrShutterBug do you know where one can buy RENY screws in Europe? I tried and it's hella expensive
@@fabianisensee3744 i wonder if someome put like 12 in an envelope and sent them if they would try to charge someone for the shipping or if it would go through just fine like a regular letter

Glad I'm not the only one that improves these things. Building and flying tinies is a lot of fun, and not just indoors. Thanx, stay well.
This turned out fricken phenomenal! This was the extra push I needed to get into the DIY aspect of my FPV journey. So thank you for that my guy!
I have been telling people to make a toothpick out of this since it came out. About time someone did it! Nice job
that little thing got some serious trust and accuracy
DUDE,YOU FLY LIKE A PRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m among those who asked you to spend time on that. Than you so much for doing this. This is really cool!
Let’s see if you just started a new trend... 😉
That thing is badass!!!! Also for anyone enlarging the mounting holes in a frame be careful carbon fiber in a matrix, like FPV frames, is highly conductive so don't let it get on the board or it will cause a short.
I’ve been flying and loving the moblite7. So much that I bought two! Thank you for your contribution to the hobby
Your builds are always cool but your piloting skills are pretty amazing.
This has got to be one of my favorite current builds! Great Job!
I build one. And guys it is absolutely amazing. Little beast. Thank you so much for the idea!!!!
This thing turned out so cool! I love how it sounds like a larger quad in your video. Thank you for building this it has inspired me greatly!
I don't know where you could find them, but my son had a Hot Wheels toy drone and they had 42mm bi blade props and i used them on a mob6 toothpick conversion and they were awesome. I had the drill them out to .95 mm. They were also long enough that they would sit flush with the motor bell.
Thanks for listening to our requests and putting out this vid!
As for the bumpers - I'd install the 'fox ears' on the front and the 'spikes' on the rear.
👍
imagine a thousand of these things flying towards you at full speed
Starts running for his life
Better get a fly swater
@@kalebhamand4467 an electric one.
That would be pretty terrifying haha 😂 imagine the cops using these with tasers on them haha 😂
I would 9:02 and then faint. If I didn’t faint from satisfaction, I would turn around, bend slightly at the knee, and initiate the trust fall into my new throne/daily driver/excuse to my parents for not having a girlfriend/the reason I have a new girlfriend
Dude, you are the very person who got me into drones! Thank you!
Awesomeeeeeee, I have one nanohawk, I'm going for shutterhawk. Coolest conversion by far. Thank you!
your videos are so cool i think your channel will explode when people realize what you are doing.
When you hit the joist on the deck I thought for sure the fame would be a goner
Haha that's so crazy your screws are made out of PEEK. I work with a spine surgeon, and the cages we use on a spine fusion are made out of PEEK. No wonder those screws were expensive!
One day this size will be digital.. extremely cool build. Thanks for the vid. 👍
About a year ago on one of my early attempts to make a "long range" 75mm whoop, I cut off 2 of the blades on the HQ props and, like you, I was amazed by how well they performed. HQ now makes a 40mm 2 blade prop which is even better than the homemade ones and I now have them on my current build. You definitely should give the Hubsan props a try, those things are simply magical...I currently have them on a 100mm X-frame which is very fast and very efficient. I've also cut them down to 48mm for use in an 85mm ducted frame, and they worked extremely well. I'm also a big fan of the Azi 40mm 3 blade props. Don't bother with the Gemfan props, they are horrible when cut down to 2 blades. BTW, if you rotate the FC, it is simpler to swap roll and pitch in the transmitter and invert one of the channels. That way you don't have to mess with all that BF stuff and you are not unpleasantly surprised on your first flight when you use that FC in another build. I am very impressed with your builds and your flying skills. I have learned many things from you and your work inspires me. Thank you.
Great info on the props! I ordered some of the HQ 2-blades, but still waiting on China shipping. Remapping inputs on the transmitter is an interesting idea, but I have a lot of drones and I fly them on a small number of models on my transmitter, so I still prefer to make the corrections on the drone. Plus, I still wanted it to be "props out" so I had to go in and adjust the motor directions anyway (rotating the FC also moves the motors around, relative to "forward"). Glad you enjoyed the video! Cheers!
Well made video. Quality content. You’ve done it again Shutterbug!
peek is expensive but as a machinist I love seeing a job call out for it. My favorite plastic to machine.
Wow that is awesome! I can see how it can be so addicting! Great video! Amazing how far technology has come!
Ohhh so glad i watched this. Lol what an amazing little ripper.
Back in the Nano QX days, we got away from the plastic and CF frames and went to poly frames made by picnicquads or micro motor warehouse. Those frames were virtually indestructible. If the prop guards come off, it becomes too vulnerable. Try making a poly frame and see what it does.
Your videos make me want to hit the workshop AND fly! Love to see someone pushing the hobby forward!
this tiny thing is an absolute monster! wow.
This makes me want to see what you'll come up with the nanohawk x
Great stuff
I have been fling this board for a bit as well and it seems extremely durable, I've had zero issues after 100s of packs and I turtle mode, crash and have had 3 frames on one model on the same FC.

I just finished my Nanohawk conversion today. I found a new one for half the price of that new Nanohawk X. Stiil pretty new at this FPV stuff so this was a great way to learn some more betaflight and a fun project. I found 40mm gemfan blades. They seems to be working well so far. I havent broken one yet after a few test flight inside the house. Looking forward to having this guys for winter flying in the backyard. Thanks for posting this Mr. ShutterBug.
Awesome! Have fun!

That's an awesome little build! I'd probably go with the double bumpers myself, but both designs look good. I was really impressed with how well the voltage holds up with that gnb27 connector.
This is so badass. Thanks for the video and the idea!!
That looks like a fun little ripper
U deff put it to the test great flight awesome glad I found your channel just getting into fpv hope to fly half as good as u someday
I really love the sound it made when it hit the leg of the table.
'Tick'
Excellent work yet again. This looks like a great thing to do with a Nano Hawk. I am almost always in favor of larger props - I am an efficiency nut. Keep rocking the tiny stuff Nate.
Thanks :-)
Great build man 🤩 looks like a super easy conversion 😁 it flies great
I like how this small camera works like big chunk camera in 80's

Neat, tinkering is fun, making a quad your own is the best.
Would love a set of bunny ears to give this build a try 👊👊
So bad a-- love your channel building chopping tinkering with fpv is just as much fun as flying if not a little more for me anyway. Hope you have a great day take care.
Nice Mod. After 8 flights and 1 broken prop? Yup, It's durable. A trimmed Hubsan prop would be nice. Got lots of them myself. Keep em flyin'
Omg, what a nice project, and DUDE... you rock at Freestyling those small rippers... Rock on 🤘
Great backyard ripper!! Love this project and will follow closely.
what i did with all my carbon rc parts was coat the edges in thin CA glue until it makes a glossy finish. makes the carbon warp on crashes instead of fraying/cracking. just add more CA glueeach time you manage to damage it. the glue wicks to the cracked resin around the carbon fibers at a molecular lever so you can sand/cut it as if its one material once it cures.
Awesome mate!! Have been loving mine without the props as well, that's just next level.
Nice! What props are you using?
@@MrShutterBug I'm using 31mm tri blade gamfams mate. I would love to source a canopy for it to run 40mm props, unfortunately I don't have a 3D printer so I again must admit I've gone through 1 motors and 3 frames so far haha. But tri props hold up okayish, so worth it for this tiny formfactor and performance
Oh wow, what an awesome little ripper!
That's sick! Nice conversion
I would like to see you review the moblite7. I was pleasantly surprised by how it flew on 3.57.
imitation is a form of flattery. thanks for getting that thing made!
Great freestyle and flight, Nate. Enjoy the build and look forward to some kind of 1s this summer for fun as well. Thanks for sharing
Really inspiring build!
Thanks for share your experiments. Best regards from Brazil 🙂👍
Your stuff is always so good
Very nice touch on the motor guards.
Liked your video and now with outdoor flying starting in Chicago again I will also do the conversion. I would also like to see your review on the MobLite7. I like the way it flies and the long flight time. The only problem I have had with the MobLite7 is the V2 frame breaks easy. I have used the extra V2 frame and ordered some V3 frames that weigh an extra gram to upgrade.
Building and tinkering is as much fun as flying for me too. Thank you so much for your inspirational videos!
More tinkering. That's why we're here.
Great project again.
That thing is awesome
Super cool build!!!
nice build
I’m glad I found ur page. U r a modifying master. I like it. Because of you I started flying micros
Always inspired by your builds! I would run without motor protection and swap the motor screws for reny 😁
Seems to have fixed the jello problem. Nice job. I've been thinking of trying to sort mine out, the camera being the main thing I want to improve.
I would Love ❤ to see a video with the Hubson props. They always seemed to be the Go To props for hobbiests. Can you do a comparison video of the Flight Times and flights for the different props please.
That would be interesting. No promises though. My time is always the limiting factor.
Wow I really want one! Well done.
Wow that thing handles great !!
The force is strong whit this one😳😩😁showing Off some seriouse Aceobatic 4 ways line possition pilot skills,,,,KUDOS
This is bloody amazing! I would love more vids about this one, Maybach with the new props or tune
I Love this little thing. Thanks for the fun. Oh... enjoying the Japanese culture as I do, I choose the fox ear guards. Hey... you asked. 🤣😂🤣😂
Wow this little guy flies really well. Maybe I would try to make one! 😁
Another wonderful job on the build looks like a real ripper Nate!!
Always good, informative and FUN... cheers
Awesome! Now I have to make one too! 1S FTW!
Wow! Never thought id see 1s fly like that. Great work!
that is stupid fast. super well done lol
Nice! Can’t argue with the results~~
Absolutely amazing, can`t wait to get my new URUAV UZ80, which seem to be close to your conversion. I love these tiny drones, because people see them as cute toys...
I know this post is old. The UZ80 is almost identical to this drone, 19.5g, 19000Kv motors and 300Mah battery, 40mm propellers. But I don't see any video that makes this acro flight so aggressive.
How has this UZ80 turned out for you?
Omg that's friggin AWESOME! I LOVE THIS 💘!!!!!!! Video was cool enough that I subscribed!
I like my Moblite7 a lot, indoors AND outdoors. I bought it because of your demo flying the original.
As I look at it, it is not easy to save weight. Easiest part is to find a light performance battery. Flying times from the original 7 to 8 minutes back to 4 minutes is ok. I have some GNB 450 on the way to try, this will save me 3 grams.
Cool! I think you will find that the 450 flies almost as long. Reducing weight improves efficiency. 👍
Idk why anyone had to give u a thumbs down. That's awesome man great job!!!
Haha! There’s always someone. It’s OK. The internet’s a big place.
great job on this, looks like a little beast
just great videos ... keep making them please.
Yes pls make a video about the moblite7
I really enjoy every single video you make
This definitely makes me want to make a tiny toothpick for sure. Good video
Oh Man, that thing Rips! Congrats, great mod!
That was a sick rip ❤
That thing is a little beast
Nice drive
Very cool drone! I like that incredible drone! I hope I found a great little drone for little money. Amazing work! 👏
Your amazing!! I learn a lot from you thank you for sharing this beautiful builds your underrated.
Wow that little wasp is fast! Like the size and durability...
