I started implementing cold showers every morning after learning about Wim Hof. I have pretty bad anxiety and it's starting to dip into depression. I gotta say, it helps a lot. I wake up, use the headspace app, read the Bible, pray, and then have a cold shower. I feel like a new person. It's fantastic.

@@romeotango5597 I have been depressed about 2020 and the death of sanity. the cool showers have certainly helped. If you aren’t shivering, it’s EXCITING coming out of a cold shower. Start with a regular warm shower, then get cooler bit by bit. Had a stroke once and can’t take the cold all at once. After 10 days I shower in water that’s cold enough to not need ice cubes if I were to drink it. Breathe deeper in the shower to trigger extra body heat and do Wim Hof breathing out of shower.

My bloated stomach has stated to shrink, and I feel more clear. Many of my friends have gotten knee and shoulder replacements, take pain killers , meds etc, and I was afraid I would have to go that route. Now I'm confident that I can be pain free and lose this stubborn belly fat, and not feel that I'm over the hill. Thank you Thomas for sharing your wisdom with us!!! You are awesome!

Our Rishis and Saadhus made us several of these points our way of life. For example, we use turmeric in several of our dishes. We are advised to fast weekly and during 'Sankashti', making it a religious thing (health benefit + good karma). Rishis and Sages used to take cold showers in early hours like 4.00 AM. Sukhasana /Padmasana was how we used to sit normally before chairs became mainstream. I am proud of my country's ancient culture. And thanks to you, Tom for backing this up with your modern research.

Hi, i live i Manchester and started keto 4 months ago. I know it’s different for different people. But I’m 63 and was gaining weight like mad. So the decision was simple. Lost lots of weight, yes. But apart from weight I’m measuring waist too - once a month though. And this month my waist was the same! So I’m not even going on the scale Decided to fast two days a week. And one week is behind me. Easy... if you desperate.
I am writing this all for you to let you know that you’re helping me a lot - even I’m so old (agrrr) but want to be healthy again and look reasonably well. All the best. Oh, that turmeric idea I like. Don’t like cold showers, but will try - maybe just stick to two days of fasting

Thomas in terms of cold therapy have you heard of contrasting showers? When you switch from hot to cold and do it few times in ratio 3 times longer hot than cold. I do it for about 2 months and I really like it. Apparently the whole idea is that you change temperature rapidly and it forces your body to move blood to vital organs. It improves immune system and many things. Very important part for me is that it is very stress relieving while you concentrate on yourself, control your breath.

I started the Ketogenic diet a month ago I watch your videos and I got my fiance to watch as well. We're big fans of yours now. I lost 3 pounds so far in a month. It's helped me be able to stay energized. I cut out my diet and regular sodas. Sweets and I'm doing the intermittent fasting. I have no cravings of fast food and sweets. I haven't eaten fast food or Candy bars in a month. And I'm drinking plenty of water and fruits and stay away from fried food. It use to drag me down and kept me bloated and tired and no energy or motivation to do anything after work. But I changed to the Ketogenic diet and I feel amazing. I look amazing as well. Thank you so much for your videos. I'm looking forward to learning more about this.

Start every morning with a cold shower. And yes I do the whole shower in pretty cold water. ^^ Apart from the health benefits it is also friendlier to the enviroment as less energy is used to heat the water. And trust me. The shower goes faster than a regular warm shower so it consumes less water.

A weight loss pill you can rely on is not an easy thing to find. At best, you’ll have more than one trial and error experience before you finally hit it big with a product that will deliver. Fortunately, we did a lot of testing and research work for you so that you can focus on other things in your life without worrying about your struggle with weight loss. What sets our product apart from others is its all-natural ingredients (that are proven effective by doctors) along with clinically tested side effects. It’s truly an effective herbal extract.

As a very busy person I personally prefer to eat only two meals per non-fasting state, and would usually try make one meal that is everything I need for that day and just eat it as needed throughout my non-fast period... Up for the challenge? I'd be interested to see how you would tackle this.

I've been doing ADF for a month and I've noticed I can sleep very well with just the covers and no blanket. I don't wake up shivering like I would during previous years (I always try sleeping without blanket after the hottest days off summer are over). Instead, I'm falling asleep fast and sleep tightly for a solid 8 hours. Also I noticed I don't get cold almost at all in the beach even after swimming, while others are shivering. Could of course be coincidence, but it's still an interesting observation. I'll see how far into the autumn I make it without blanket.

The one that works best for you.
      I prefer Himalayan.
Though adding Reduced Sodium salt help, but not because it has less sodium. It has Potassium.
      Which helps the Muscles.
But why you take them it the context of a fast is less about the specific minerals..
And more to reduce your bodys production of Insulin.
      Hence, taling it while Fasting.
In Fast- make you more I insulin sensitive. And promote fat adaptation..
When Eating Carbs- make them linger in the blood. Causing corruption of the blood vessels.
      Thus inflammation.
      And the rest.
Salt and carbs don't mix to our benifit.
