- The surviving son of convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh is breaking his silence. Buster Murtaugh is opening up nearly six months after his father was found guilty of killing his mother and brother, Paul. The 26-year-old spoke with Fox News' Martha MacCallum. In the interview, Buster doubles down on what he says is his father's innocence despite the overwhelming evidence that pointed to his guilt.

It’s so sad that he is in such denial because he doesn’t want to see his father as a monster, but the evidence is there. He even inadvertently said it himself. I hope he gets through it ok.

It’s not hard to believe he thinks his dad is innocent. Having to come to grips with your dad destroying your family has to be harder than hell.
Let's not forget about Gloria Satterfield who was mysteriously found dead at the bottom of the steps. Along with Mallory Beach & Stephen Smith death seems to follow the Murdaughs everywhere.
He absolutely knows his father is guilty but was raised to always save face and protect the family reputation.
