@@DocTraubo…….Yep, there weren’t even any women in the title sequence of the most recent Bond film. (Which is probably for the best since the nutters that dominate social media, and therefore ALL media are trying to convince everyone that women can have male genitalia and a beard)
Such a classic film! The music in this scene gives me chills and it can relax you within seconds of listening to it. The women in this scene, were they all supermodels in the 70’s? I bet Bond was hoping for a different kind of outcome when he saw them all 😂
The musical score is indeed great. What really gives me the chills though is Dolly's braces are gone in all recordings of this movie. I saw this in the theater in 1979 and she had braces. A lot of other people remember it too.
I love the expression on the women's faces when they see Bond in danger. They have a weird mix between a blank look and a look of arousal. Much like my ex.
I absolutely love this movie. I think it's criminal that Moonraker is rated lower than Quantum of Solace. Moonraker is dumb, but fun as hell. Quantum is just an assault to the eyes, and boring.
I think it’s criminal that the Roger Moore era gets too much scorn by non-Band fans, but we the fandom (the greatest in the world) love them, flaws and all.
Moonraker is actually very underrated cause initially critics found it silly with the countless gadgets and Roger Moore's jokes. It might be no Goldfinger, Fireball or You only live Twice, but it's actually one of the better Bonds. And infinitely more enjoyable than the bleak and nihilistic Bond movies of the last decade.
"You defy all my attempts to plan an amusing death for you..." Love that line and the deadpan delivery. Like, this actually perfectly explains a lot of the BS in the movie. Drax also looks like the sort of man who would find his enemy getting eaten by his pet python hilarious.
Today it is explosion shooting shooting explosion more shooting it is boring as fuck I never even finished one of the bond movies with the new bond if I start to fall asleep I can't watch on.
A very sublime cue by the one and only John Barry. The entire film as he scored it is filled with lofty, magisterial and even funereal at times, as in the “Bond Lured to Pyramid” cue. This is probably owed to the personal tragedy he endured that year when he lost both parents.

In a time of superhero movies coming out of our ears we need,super...hero movies? Old Bond movies are fun and all but they straddle the line between being a campy adult action movie with women and sex being thrown in as much as possible in any context cause'that's what adults like'and'saturday morning cartoon superhero saves the day from evil bad guy against all odds'. Craig's might be boring for some but at least they have a tad bit more'seriousness'to a franchise that always was apparently'very serious and adult'despite sometimes looking like an action comic book
Lmao...Bond's facial expression at 1:15 cracks me up every time! Its like he is saying "WTF!? You seriously believe I'm going to follow you across that bridge with the obvious trap door?!"

That’s an actual Mayan temple of my ancestors That’s really impressive since I went and explore the ancient temples in Mexico Thank you Moonraker for making this a lush beautiful-looking film for 45 years! 😄
I love how every woman who comes out to greet him was seen at some point prior in the film. There’s the women Drax had tea with, the women Drax went quail hunting with, and even the glass factory tour guide
This is such an awesome film, I don't know why so many people hayed it. Although my favourite Bond film is licence to kill. I like them all, but this is definitely one of the better ones.
Cinema is impressive! They blended the Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brasil with the Tikal pyramids in Guatemala and it looks perfectly natural, it’s fascinating!
This is scene is such a theatrical moment it’s so easy for Bond to be tricked and deceived by women that’s Bonds favorite personal desire but it’s also his weakness his blindspot in this case the villain was ingenious enough to figure that out by having his evil women lure him into a trap.
