I actually like the idea of the standard flagship available globally ever year, and alternating between launch fhe Pro and Ultra variants globally. Xiaomi is running a business after all, so it makes sense to take care of home turf first.
Not bad and being honest a small form factor I feel is making a return, I know we are seeing more foldable s being the opposite but because almost everyone have more than one device, tablet or laptop the phone is becoming mainly a camera, communication and music consumption device, for gaming the difference in size I feel it's not significative so it's a nice form factor
I prefer a podcast or video for volume test. We are not usually playing music from the speakers but we play videos directly from the speakers. And some phones have good volume for music but volume is low when watching videos
Have checked the display brightness? I have heard that from some of my friends the brightness is quiet low compared to S24? Both in indoor and outdoor autobrightness, though it claims 3000 nits where as S24 is only 2600 nits.
What the big surprise will be is if you purchase it in North America and you can't find a high-quality case. Unfortunately, xiaomi doesn't have great third-party support for their devices. In addition, their update schedule is random at best. There's no denying that they make a beautiful product but, you have to factor in the negatives as well.

Once more, as I mentioned in my comment finding a case with somewhat difficult. At that point, I decided to not deal with the problem anymore. A few years ago, I switched to OnePlus devices and I haven't had these kind of issues. Currently, I'm using a OnePlus 12 and 11. There are plenty of cases available and no issues with support.
@@dr.fitprofessor4363 I confess that I've wanted to switch back to either a Ultra Samsung or OnePlus (I had the OnePlus One way back in the day 😁) for their seamless use within the US. I definitely miss out on many features such as Android Auto, Google Maps timeline, and other stuff. However I'm just too big of a camera geek and the other phones just don't cut it for me, although they are very good. The Chinese phone makers approach mobile photography differently, the pictures and videos don't look like "smartphones". You can't tell the difference in quality unless you actually see the output of these phones on a big screen, then it becomes very apparent that Samsung and Apple phones still just put out "smartphone" results. That OnePlus 12 though 👀 if they make a OnePlus 12 Ultra, which already exists as the Oppo Find X 7, then we're talking!
With Xiaomi releasing phones almost every month, I'm surprised they can all support them but I heard that the higher you go up with their smartphone tier, the frequent updates you receive but I think they do have a fixed regular update every 2 months the very least unlike samsung who pushes sec patch update on a monthly basis. Weird thing about xiaomi update tho is it is tied to the region you set your device in. I purchased a new device last december, set it to my region, no new update, this phone was release back in July last year 😂 then I switched it to singapore and boom, new update came in,followed by their latest HyperOS few days after.

In other words, it happens when it happens. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your comment but, I've already been down this road. Lol. Many of their devices will function perfectly fine here in North America but, they really don't have any serious brand recognition. In fact, if you were to go out on the street here in the United States and asked 100 people what they thought of their devices you may be lucky to find two people that have even heard of xiaomi.
So the green color goes over into the metal frame..? It has a green tint to it? Such a turnoff.. I had my heart set for the green version as the mette black only comes with black frame which is even worse...

i really want to buy one. theres a guy selling it on ebay willing to ship to the uk. for around £550-£630 im scared though. its a Chinese version and im scared they might take away parts of the phone and give me a counter fit. if you have any idea where i can get one for a good price id appreciate it :D
Do not get Chinese versions. Notifications are all delayed unless you let's all the apps auto start and battery saver set to no restrictions so they are constantly running in the background and sometimes notifications are still delayed. Also no android auto if you use that.

Very cool tk , I think 6.3 to 6.5 inch is about the sweet spot it seems to much bigger just gets to heavy to carry around in the pocket

Agreed. I've been using Xiaomi Ultras for the past 4 generations in Texas and it's mainly been fine dealing with the limitations.
