I was trying to fulfill the stages of Evenant's last challenge, I started with the mushrooms, these in my reference photo grew from a tree, there I found myself in trouble: the texture of a bark, typically cracked, was made even more complicated by being covered with mosses, a video about textures this difficult would be interesting, I think.
With 3 kids i have learned to turn on Airplane mode before night. And so this is on morning when i've received the notification and i'm beginning a new day with this cartoon, no, tutorial
I just finished the vid. I have a suggestion. Can you make some spooky scene for Halloween? I think it's a good content. Never saw you paint like that.
As much as I love rocky mountain and grassy textures, they are the absolute hardest for me right now. I struggle with finding the 'necessary' details...and try too hard to get all of it in the picture. My brain is like, "Hey look at all that detail you're missing out on!" then I lose track of where I am and it turns into rocky mush 😅. This video helped me see what I need to be looking at when taking on a mountain! First color, then shape, then detail. You also make cloud work look so easy! That's another big one I struggle with. Will keep watching for more inspiration!! ⛅
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm really grateful. Can you please make tutorial on perspective especially for landscape painting. Drawing mountains and other nature elements in perspective. Thank you. Good luck
Enjoyed your Scandinavian painting. Could you please explain how you posted your photograph of the lovely scene and also produced a digital separate canvas at the same time in photoshop enabling you to paint the scene digitally.
HI THERE Walid I just wanna ask you some question? When you are starting concept art or when you are beginner where did you earn a money to buy a Photoshop and your stuff.
Are the near rocks a different type of rock from the mountains? Seems weird that they are so light when the mountains are so dark. Or is that a trick of the light?
@@WalidFeghali ho okay so, (I'm kinda dumb and I need to be sure I understood), you composed the soundtrack of the Sims or the music you've composed is just really similar ? (sorry for bothering you >^
@@WalidFeghali Okay thank you ! They might have stoled it from you then, because I swear it's the exact same notes and rythmes 😂 (I've played way too much at this game 😅)
Hi Walid, thank you for your video. Just a quick question. Can you help me with a small advice how should I start or any tips for landscapes digital painting? I am in front of photoshop with just the blue sky on layer and trying to figure out what should I draw/paint. I do not have any ideas clearly in mind. I am feel that every time I'm trying to paint something is the same scenery, blue sky and stuck at the background. No idea, blank.
Two ways to overcome it: 1) just start painting some landscape shapes without thinking too much, usually you end up with something interesting. Now that you have the basic shapes, just start painting. 2) If you can’t come up with anything, try looking at some photos, maybe draw exactly what is there like Walid did. I also like following tutorials when I’m completely out of ideas.
i like to play a game when i paint or draw. I pick up 3 words. Like Big Trees, Hot weather, Fire. And when i paint i try to think about those words and how i can paint them
Wow it actually looks like that but I have to be honest, I AM using a Wacom Intuos Pro Medium tablet. I really suggest getting a tablet, Paul - even if it's just a cheap one. :) W.
@@WalidFeghali Ahh okay. I actually already ordered an iPad Pro haha. I’m just impatient I guess. 😂😂😂. Regardless, love your content! +1 Sub from me for sure!!
That intro guys. He's upped his game.
That intro was extremely wholesome. Jättebra!
This is how all painting tutorials should be. Every time I see this makes me wanna get on my xp-pen and draw.
You had my subscription at: "Okay, I'm a cowboy now." Brilliant.

I absolutely love your art, but I have to ask : is this the Sims music ? I'm sorry if it's not but it sounds exactly the same (at 6'30" of the video)
Thanks, it's my own music that I composed and created. Cheers :) W.
