It’s not about replacing Wayne. It’s about keeping his memory alive. Shit happens, life happens why should static X be laid to rest because the world lost Wayne? His family has given the band their blessing to continue with preserving Wayne’s memory. Wayne is gone but his memory and music will live on. RIP Wayne.
I find the ones complaining about xero not being good enough. Are the same ones that cant even walk and chew bubble gum. Id rather have these guys like it is than some horrible tribute band of nobodies. Give Xero a break hes actually doing a good job. Acdc I think had 3 lead singers they sounded very similar but we still had acdc.
@@VitiatedsHOWTO Except Tony was never fired. He's always been a 50% owner of Statix-X. Koichi was also never fired. He left the band to spend time with his family after his kid was born. Ken was also never fired, he left the band willingly to do other projects. So you're pretty much just wrong on all of that. Wayne walked a road these guys didn't want to follow, that doesn't invalidate over a decade of them being friends and artists together prior to Wayne walking that road without them. They have his family's blessing and Tony is still an owner of the IP. Any discussion outside of that is speculation from a fan, which honestly doesn't matter at the end of the day. If you don't like it, move on. I for one am all about hearing more Static-X.
I'd rather have Static X's music still being played live rather than no Static X at all. I know that nobody can take Wayne's place but the music that these guys created needs to be kept alive and out there, there's way to much terrible music out there and the late 90's/early 00's were a a special time for heavy/alternative music. All in all, I'm for this, it's keeping the music alive.

They loved and respected him, so they are keeping his legend alive. I think it's mad cool and respectful. You were probably too triggered to see they showed a picture of Wayne on the projector with "forever with us". Or the end where they put his birth and death year. They are carrying on his legend for him, and his fans. Stop being a Karen.

I get the tribute to Wayne but at some point they’re going to have to move on. Xero is good enough to fill Wayne’s shoes and eventually he should be accepted into the band as he really is because people should be used to it by then. Wayne is dead. He’s not coming back and he’s not making new music. Celebrate what he made and respect the people who write new music for an awesome band we’re lucky enough to still see live.
