    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  5 лет назад +9

      it depends! some patterns won't make it so your strings will end up in the same way, because you're just repeating the same knots. but, most patterns should end up with your strings in the same order. the one in the video, your strings should not be in the same order.

    Hopefully that made sense

    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  2 года назад

      chevron bracelets are an example of what's called segment knotting! in normal patterns, you go row by row, but with segment knotting, you do the knots in 'segments', hence the name. like a chevron bracelet is technically a normal pattern and it can be done row by row, but it's easier/makes more sense to do it in segments :) hope this helps!

      if you just need one string of a color, you would just cut half a wingspan! the only reason you cut a full wingspan of a string is because you end up folding it in half, and it becomes 'two' strings!

    • @kinseyb7017

      yes, 1,2 patterns are also called normal patterns !!

    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  Год назад +1

      you can 'segment knot' normal patterns, or do them row by row. so that's probably what the video meant? a chevron is and example of segment knotting. there is a way to do it row by row, but the 'easier' way is to segment knot !

  • @Lowkeyainsley
