    Thank you, thank you, thank you. Some people do a lot of talking and a lot of flexing with not a lot of useful information. You are the exception. I’ve watched a lot of videos for straight hair naturals, this BY FAR was the most informative. I appreciate that you use affordable products that are easily accessible because they work and not just because they’re on trend. Seriously, you’re selfless. You genuinely want to share what works. ❤ Sending you virtual hugs, cause you’re a beautiful person inside and out. 🤗🤗

    This video was super informative! I'm thinking about being a straight natural and I have 4c hair too. What do you do during the month to moisturize your hair to keep it healthy and growing?

    • @Growingtowaistlength
      @Growingtowaistlength  Год назад +2

      Yes, it was a journey I stumbled upon but I’m so glad because it’s the reason I was able to retain length and finally get BSL hair. Because my strands stay straight I don’t have to moisturize very often but when I do I use that same lightweight moisture. Bio silk moisturizer. I always have my ends tucked at night and wear a bonnet. I also don’t reuse heat. Hopefully that helps but I have more video on my channel that go into detail :)

    The shrinkage is REAL!!! but you must be doing something right, because heat damage WHERE!??? Beautiful curls!! You could start alternating between wearing a wash and go for a few days, and then going in with heat, because GIRL, them curls deserve to shine! Makes you look so youthful too.

    • @Growingtowaistlength

      It truly is! LOL! My shrinkage game is strong. And thank you! I definitely do love my curls and am trying to find a way to be able to wear my hair in a wash and go without it tangling. That's my biggest issue but once I figure that out I definitely want to rock it more! Yes, I usually keep it detangled and in sections in the shower but for this video I wanted people to see my hair in its natural shrinked state, and keeping it in twists stretches it out when its drying. And yes babyliss all the way!! You also may get lucky at a marshalls or tjmaxx.

      @@Growingtowaistlength I will definitely check there! I don't straighten often, so when I do, I want to use quality tools and products, and my current flatiron is getting old!
      As far as tangle-free wash and gos are concerned, I've heard that people are having great success with the methods posited by IamBlackGirlCurls. If you have a stylist in your area that follows their methodology, you may be able to try it out and see if it works for you!

    I got the blowdryer brush because of you. Its soooo good. I have thick, dense 4c hair and it gets my hair so sleek.

    I was scared a brush like this would damage my hair but watching this showed me otherwise. I will try this later

    Pls my hair didn't straighten. I bought the hot brush and flat iron but my hair is still puffy. I don't know if it's because I oiled my hair and it's greasy. Pls advise me cuz I'm sad😭
