My biggest straight natural tip is clarifying shampoo every 3 presses and to use TWO OR MORE HEAT PROTECTANTS
2 or more at the same time? How often do you straighten your hair please?
@@autumn_b905 I use Loreal Sleek It Flat Iron Spray first, then layer with Dreamcoat, then blowdry with my Hot Tools Blow Dry Brush. Before flat ironing I do the tiniest bit of silicone heat protestant at the ends
@@autumn_b905 and I flat iron about every 3 weeks, sometimes they last up to a month.
@autumn_b905 yes two. Use one before you blowdry and one before you straighten. Often people two different ones
@@YeaNo. thank you
That Aphogee protein is definitely a game changer!
I also have been using the FHI platform for two years and I absolutely love it. It doesn’t leave my hair dry or stiff. I use the Titanium to curl hair only now.
My hair is overly dry but I’m hoping treatments can help moisturize
I’m looking for a stylist that heat trains hair it’s so rare to find one nowadays
Most of the girlies who get silk presses back to back are technically "heat trained" so a regular stylist who does good healthy silk presses should do you right!
Thank you so much for the advice, I want to start heat training but does a ceramic coated aluminium flat iron work as well? It's the only one I could find at the moment and the maximum temperature it reaches is 356 F.
You're welcome! Yes, that should work 😊
Thank you really fab and detail tips :)
You're Welcome 😊
@@RoxannaReneahi! For your moisture protein balance do you use all moisturizing products on the same wash day and all protein/strengthening products on the same wash day? Or do you mix it up moisture shampoo with a strengthening deep conditioner or strengthening shampoo with a moisturizing deep conditioner?
I got heat damage after one silk press and half of my haid is bone straight, I don’t know what do, do I became a straight air natural or what. My problem is i need to wet my hair at least 2 times a week, what do u suggest
How does the weather where you live affect your hair. I want to heat train but I’m concerned with the 3 days a week it potentially rains here. ☔️ I’m in the NE.
I live in Maryland and am a straight natural. I've been finding that most days when it rains I only really go from my car to my house, so I tuck my hair in a big fleece hat. Even the days I've been out and about, just an umbrella to cover my head seems just fine. I also use DreamCoat which literally repels water and that helps my hair stay sleek and not frizzy
@@jasminerosewater3891 thanks. I’m in the same region. It rains alot more here than down south where I’m from. I will try the product you mentioned. Thanks sis 🩵
Do you ever air dry? Or do you only either blow dry or blow dry and flat iron on wash days?
I don't like to air dry my hair it always turns out dry. Yes, I either blow dry or blow dry and flat iron.
Don't people blow there hair out.. To like trim there ends.. Like don't they blow out there hair to get that even cut?? Like where u ganna start I big chop my hair and I'm ganna blow it out for the first time to cut my ends properly... Am I doing something wrong? 🤔Because if I was to cut it just like that I wouldn't get my hair to grow out even...
@cleolewis320 You can trim on curly hair just by taking your time to get an even cut. Or you can just blow your hair out first and then trim. I personally rather blow out my hair first to trim my hair. Just to make sure I'm not cutting too much and maintaining an even cut... Whatever option is comfortable for you depends on your decision.
Doesn’t the agitation and manipulation from the blow drying cause breakage?
No, I never had any breakage
Wouls you ever chop your long hair short or even fade it?
