I live in the uk. And I've been to dunkirk many times. It's a very somber feeling when you're there. It's very surreal too. The desperation these men felt. Must of been scary. Saw this in the theater in 2017. What an experience

regarding your comment on war crimes, that didn't really exist as a concept (or in international law) before WW2. it was created as a direct result of WW2 and the atrocities that occurred.
