For example: if I take $100 in materials to create a machine worth $1000, how do you represent that $900 in value that's been added to the market? You have a paper money system based primarily on a country's GDP. If the government (it absolutely should not be a private for profit banking institution) prints $900 in paper money after the machine is built there's no issue because the tangible material wealth is correctly balanced with the amount of paper currency. 2012 bank foreclosed on my home do to me getting injured at work. They sold my home on courthouse steps. Never heard another word from that bank nothing ! 3 months ago Sherrif pulls in to driveway tells me my home is going to go up for auction because apparently the house from 2012 didn't satisfy the debt. Just FYI, as of the year 2024.5, the US government is paying more than $1 trillion in debt interest (so just the interest, not even paying down the principle debt) every year.
The US government is going further into debt about 1 trillion dollars every 100 days. That will only be faster over the coming years. Huge amounts of dollars sit outside the US, devaluing at a rapid rate. At some point we will be borrowing to pay the interest on what we borrowed. Something has to give.

For example: if I take $100 in materials to create a machine worth $1000, how do you represent that $900 in value that's been added to the market? You have a paper money system based primarily on a country's GDP. If the government (it absolutely should not be a private for profit banking institution) prints $900 in paper money after the machine is built there's no issue because the tangible material wealth is correctly balanced with the amount of paper currency. It's when institutions print money without it representing material goods in the market of equal value that shit slams into that fan

Cash IS debt, that's the whole point of currency. you received cash as a stand in for indebtedness. by buying something with cash you are exchanging debt in one form for debt in another form, so to say "if you don't have cash for it, don't buy it" makes no sense. you seem to be claiming the only valid form of indebtedness is cash, which simply isn't true.
And if you still want something that costs more than you can afford, save up and only buy it when you have all the money. The good part about this is maybe during this time you will have lost interest in the item.

Just keep in mind that this video was a simple short of explanation of the real situation, many stuff told in this movie are not exactly true or they are not true at all, but they all do help to paint the greater picture of the situation.
One thing that was wrong from the get go is how the bank is portrayed as the ultimate controlling power meanwhile banks through the 2008 great crisis to this day forced many banks to shut down or go bankrupt, meanwhile states with great oil reserves acted as what the banks on this movie were responsible for, banks in short are just lesser companies to increase the profit of great industrial powers (oil industry, power industry, weapon industry etc.).

While you are semi-right about them pulling the strings, even more so than some banks, you are wrong about the fact that each one of those companies is more than likely registered as an investment company. Just like every national bank in this country is registered as an investment company. Is that the those same people who made the declaration also rationalized in the federalist papers that we the citizens were not capable, qualified or had enough sense to pick a President we saw as having the required leadership skills and qualifications to run a country. That's kinda of an oxymoron in a sense. Looking out for our best the countries best intrests while also telling us we lacked the neccessary skills to vote or choose a leader for our country. After that the electoral college was born voters were chosen for us and our right to choose who runs our country was stripped from us before it even started. Our constitution in the present day is contridictory to what it says the citizens are suppose to be. FREE.
