  • Designed by new zealand based architectural and interior design firm W2, the romotow looks like a normal trailer but at the push of a button transforms into a large hosting area. giving it its main point of difference, a living area uniquely extends out from its sheltered exterior with an ingenious automated swivel to reveal up to 70 percent more floor area.

    Since the middle class got wiped out, this has to be marketed to the upper class.

    So the caravan pivots to create an outdoor living space. Well as soon as you step outside of a normal caravan you've got a whole heap of outdoor living space.

    $270k and still no Air Conditioner we use A/C almost 12 month out of the year here. It’s a nice look but I don’t see it here in the States anytime soon. The import tax will be outrageous.

      IDK. With the crap that is slung together in the US, there could be a small market. Airstreams keep getting more and more expensive.

    You will need to set it up in a cow pasture. Never been to anRV campground with enough swingroom for that design. The patio can easily be done with an awning. Good luck with it, best endeavours….

      Instead of setting up in a trailer park, try actually camping. You'll be amazed at how much space there is.

    Love the concept and crisp design, but question the ability to store “patio furniture” while traveling. Also question how to afford one…

    It would be cool to rent for a short weekend, but I wouldn't want to own it. The porch is cool but it would be cool to ba able to slide some shades or windows up to add more sleeping space

      Could make one for cheaper... not as sleek, and not with a luxury branding, but you could make one for cheaper. Interesting concept I think would be nice. Just have some one way windows inside, replace the dining seating with a desk for a computer and TV, and its basically a tiny home with a mobile footprint. Only difficulty would be the solar panels, which could be placed on both the roofs (when the core swivels out)... still might not have enough solar power to power a computer, but a Laptop or modern TV would be fine.

    For those who have posted negative comments. Please don't. As for the price, I have done my due diligence and compare to zethleffs and the like. This being Kiwi made is on par. I will make the effort to go to the South Island and view in person. And can see this model being very beneficial to a 58 year old like me.

      That I could see. Actually camping, no. My first thought was, “How many campground spots actually have that much width?” I’m sure your neighbors would love that. Would trees get in the way? I’d have to clean the deck before closing it every single time I wanted to hitch up and go. Just another task. I will say that it is pretty.

  • @jasonwillings3231
    @jasonwillings3231 5 месяцев назад +1

    Yeah that's all fine and dandy until you can't find a campground that it'll fit in because it swings out too wide and takes up too much room. And this isn't the year 3000 we don't need shit that looks like it just came off The Jetsons it just has to work. And with the build quality being so poor in RVs today I can just imagine the Treasure Trove of problems that this thing would provide😅
