- EPIK Ranger Overland Camping Trailer
An Off-Road Powerhouse - The EPIK Ranger offroad camper trailer is the bigger brother to the EPIK Scout. Like its sibling, the Ranger is designed and built for rugged, off-grid environments. The welded steel frame with rubberized protective coating shields your home away from home, while tearing through the harshest outdoor environments. The Cruisemaster™ independent off-road suspension keeps the ride smooth and stable, and the 33" all-terrain tires make quick work of snow, mud, or any other surface you are likely to encounter on your journey.
An Expansive Interior - You'll marvel at the expansive interior of the Ranger. The fully mechanical slide out and convertible dinette is great for indoor meals or conversion to a sleeping space - sleeping 3-4 in total. The Celestory pop-up roof is a "wow" feature - offering tons of standing room and more natural light from the locking euro-style windows. There is ample interior storage, with latching lightweight aluminum cabinetry. The modular locking entry door with built-in dual layer screen keeps everything safe and secure.

Wow, so glad I watched this vid bc I normally avoid camper vids bc I hate...HATE the cheap manufacturing and seams just waiting for rain on campers but this unit is spectacular. Very much respect that they designed the top as a continuous edge to edge sheet that would prevent leaks. And the interior use of space left nothing to waste while adding headroom. The developers have to be hardcore campers to understand inter play of a weatherized unit, utility of space, and storage in a convenient package. This has changed my mind about campers, just amazed
They will ask you for a deposit up front for a vehicle to be built much later. Same business plan they had as "Overkill Kill Campers" out of Oregon. They did not deliver more than 24 camper orders and no fefunds of $600k. They closed shop, filed Bankruptcy, and moved to Pennsylvania. Reorganize thier company and running the same business model. Pay now, maybe deliver camper in 2 years.
I think they've done so much correct with this. As a perpetual hater of modern RV designs, this is so refreshing to see.
For its size, it feels pretty spendy unfortunately. But good ain't cheap and cheap ain't good.
Thanks for the tour - really glad to have seen this.

One of the best shower setups I've seen. The only thing I would add is a TV mount on that back wall.

❤ Holy Cow that is AWESOME‼️ Not sure I’d sell that screen door as “Bear Proof,” though. Bears can open an RV door like it was tinfoil. Q. For reference, how tall is she?
Bear resistant?
@@rickvervoort9536 - That might work! Essentially, anything three humans can pry open with a big crowbar is not bear proof. 😎
She's about 5'5"
@@pjcanseco2590 - Thanks! So for someone my height, about 5’ 11 I’d be stooping unless I raised the roof. 😎
She stated that with the roof down, there was still 6'7" standing room. I wish she had shown it with top down.
Love it! So much room in a small space--storage AND a bath! The kitchen is awesome.

I never wanted to tow anything until now. This is beautiful! 😍
Love this camper! The natural light that the pop-up allows is amazing.

Very well thought out. Has everything you need and the space is not cramped. Good job Patrick.
I would love to live in this full time.

This is great! I love the fixed dining space and bed. Also, like all the storage opens for clothes food and equipment. The windows are great. I like that it includes screens and shades.
This is the best looking and most practical looking trailer I’ve ever seen.

WANT!!! Now, I love my current camper! And I've seen other rigs that peak my interest, but this one REALLY peaks my interest! I can't wait to see more on these! I'd also love to see one in person!
Wow ! This is quite magnificent …. Off road or on❤ much better than a usual camper.
It really is!
Air Conditioner situation might be a deal breaker.
Oven, too. Open bungie cabinets for off-road?
Love the sliding toilet. The bump out cabinets!
Would love to see some of the build features integrated into a class b. The pop up concept, as well as the aluminum drawers & and cabnets, are Awesome!
Awesome! Sleep well knowing you have bear proof screens. I love it.
Nothing is bear proof if they can smell food. I've seen them peel trailers open like a sardine can to get to left overs they smelled. They're so strong its terrifying 😢
Teddy Bear proof perhaps. Pretty confident a 400-600lb bear is coming through that screen door.
Outstanding! The best I've ever seen in this category.
That's pretty cool! I don't think I like how the windows latch on the outside, though. For security reasons, I would want that on the inside.
Wow! I really like this camper! As a matter of fact, I like everything about it. Thanks for the tour!
You bet!
This is absolutely fantastic! I'd love this here in Australia! Great job!
If I were to build one, this would be the design to shoot for!
Awesome trailer, but I feel like it would make more sense for the highest point of the pop-up roof to be on the side where you’re going to be standing, rather than the bed and dinette.
Wow this is a lot of room. Really Awesome camper. Thanks for sharing
Is it 4 season with heated freshwater tank, love it not complicated at all.. I'm an off grid camper !! 😊
Very nice and very unique!!
Thank you! Cheers!🍻
Bean on the outside beast on the inside.
Best use of space ever in a camper this size, Looks like a high quality build as well. Obviously not cheap but it was not built to be.
Awesome amount of storage in such a small space while keeping pretty much all the amenities too. The only three things I would like to see is a low profile version that can fit in a standard garage when packed up, a no propane option and load up that roof with solar, a more built in AC such as a Dometic Coolcat.
we mentioned the low profile one at the beginning and it was also linked at the end.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventuresThe Scout? Yeah, that has a lower height, but it is smaller all round with fabric roof sides. I feel like the Epik design could have smaller tires and lower height and make use the of roof to provide the comfortable interior height with hard, insulated walls. Obviously everything has compromises in this form factor, but having two kids we’d need the extra space so that mention of a 4th bunk being thought about (maybe double bunk dinette bench?) was interesting too.
Very nice
Thanks
Brilliant design. Absolutely brilliant use of space and all the essentials covered.....
Glad you like it!
All I can say is well done, really cool. I hope you do extremely well !!!!!
I dig this camper!! Opens up to a pretty big space with a bathroom too! Yes!
❤️💜💚
Yes it does!
I'd say to use the Morride step above steps or something similar for the entry. They're nice and stable when park and deployed, but they fold up into the camper when not in use. So they shouldn't impact offraod ability at all.
Awesome. Overall love it !
Couple of suggestions. Find a way to add air conditioner. If you can’t mount it on the roof - looks like there is potential space on back wall with a direct vent. Relying on zero breeze is not a good idea for people who camp in hot weathers.
Definitely add option for more than 1 solar panels on the roof. Off road capabilities mean people will boondock more.
With all the moving pieces - how good will the seals be ? Suggest you make this a 4 seasons unit if possible !
Look forward to seeing production unit
Good luck !
Very nice unit!
This is absolutely amazing! I’d love one!
Good luck!
I love this style. ❤️
What a great little camper. I would have liked to have seen how easy pulling the roof down is. I like the soft storage that is included. I hope there will be different options for the cabinetry finishes. I'm not crazy about the foot locker look.
So much storage! Looks like a good boondocking trailer. With all that storage and the big fridge it needs a bigger fresh water tank
We want one! Don't get me wrong, I think it's possibly worth what they're asking, but for its size it's out of our price range.
This would be my retirement dream. No joke. Kitchen, bathroom and shower ready to take with you. Add a Jackery for any extra power items you might want. It's a traveling hotel room. You could go anywhere you want without ever leaving home.
"You can go anywhere without leaving home."
Perfect tagline for sale. Reach out if you want to use it!
Great camper.
Yes 👍
Beautiful but crazy not to have a loft bed up by the high windows. Like a canvas hammock bed. Taut
Is that a privacy window in the bathroom?
I love this va. I would put on even more solar, replace the stovetop with induction cooktop.
WOW!!! Nice trailer indeed.
I love everything about this trailer!!!
Great trailer!
Awesome trailer! Just wish it had comfortable seating instead of the dinette.
This is much better than any we’ve seen. Definitely add the max air fan, not as an accessory to add. Also a/c
Thanks for the tour!
You bet!
This is SO cool! Thanks for sharing, Patrick!!!! 😊
Starting at $67,200..... Starting at that! 😮
Nope for me. Can buy something a lot larger and with way for features for that price!
Where can u get this from??????
Website lists dealers in Texas, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Can't wait to see the actual model. Thanks y'all 🎉
How long is the bed? I know you said Queen but an rv queen mattress isn’t the same as a residential one.
Cool build. Not wild about the noisy latches and I wonder how much weight the converted table to bed would withstand. But love the slides and wonder what the price will be!!!
Absolutely incredible! Love love love!
Great
What an innovative camper. The build quality looks great. Find a way to add a real AC or they will be a tough sell in Florida. Zero Breeze wouldn't cut it down there. I wish you could give a ball park price. But a really thoughtful design.
Dry weight is 7500 and GVWR is 5000?
Either those numbers are backwards OR it is 2500 over GVWR as is.
Very cool camper. But What’s the point of the pop top, if it is over 6’6” with it down?
I'm thinking the bank of windows
the shower was the best part, and the fact that you can slide the toilet out of the way even better, thus keeping it dry.
Oh wow I’m totally digging this rig!!!
Wow this is pretty awesome! I think I want one!!! Love to give it a go in Northern Ontario.
70 grand doesn't buy air conditioning?
How big is the fresh water tank? Gray water tank?
She said 30 gallon fresh and grey tank will be added later as this is still a prototype.
Nice trailer, some neat ideas. But, 67k. Come on😮
Wow im waiting for this video tour,
okay, I want THIS but in a regular road version, no offroad needed.
A perfect trailer!!!
Kind of cool, but YIKES! The price!
Well thought out and presented
WOW! That might be perfect.
Now this is awesome 👌
love the essentials only build...
This is perfect. Just lower the price and you will sell tons.
OH YES!!! I’m in LOVE!! WOWZA
Definitely Epic. Too bad it's not a toy hauler too. 😢
More to come
WOW so interesting. Love the openness with the push outs. Fantastic. One comment for some people. The industrial grey makes it look like an office not a home. Many love grey but there is nothing homey about grey for many more people. That would be a total turnoff for me. Too much like going to work, rather than being at home. Otherwise brilliant work done on this. Congrats. WELL DONE.
This is great! What is the cost?
Wow, that’s great, best I’ve seem. Love the hard sided top. I want one.
No AC, no deal. Who can afford a "mild weather camper" if they live in a hot weather climate?
Buyers be aware, do your research. The builders and designers of these camper are currently seeking Bankruptcy protection in Bend Oregon, from their company "Overkill Campers".
Love it ❤❤
OMG I want this! Do you have a version of this that will fit in the back of a pickup?
It's probably gonna be really expensive. Like $50,000 or more. They'll justify pricing with all of the amenities & windows.
Says starting at: $67,200 MSRP USD in the description.
@@jeangraceNpeace6767 with no ac. Wow.
Yes do a bunk
Very well thought through!
Wow, very nice!!!
Unique idea with practicality built in. Very curious about the cost. Thanks!
This ones neat. What's the cost gonna b?
W0W. Very different I like it. Would it be considered. All seasonal?
❤❤❤
I actually love this one. I wonder the price?
That camper is awesome but nowhere near $65k awesome
Very nice!❤
Please make a lower price. So many dreamers who can't afford it
I love it. every aspect, what would the projected price be. nice job beautiful trailer
Website states it starts at $67,200 MSR" with a 6-12 week build and a $2,500 deposit.
@@vanvorst1999 Wow, Thanks for letting me know
Wow, nice built! $67k? Is this a airstream?
